It’s Sister Saturday and things are looking up. Well, at least I’m looking up and you can probably guess what I’m looking at too. Yes, Brother Simon is up on the upper landing. No, he’s not going to jump, I don’t think he will be trying that again, at least not anytime soon. I was down below when he made his famous leap and I’m just glad he didn’t land on me!
Speaking of Brother Simon, I’ve got to tell you something funny. You know I love my Brother but he can sure be funny sometimes and he gets a bit spooked by the strangest things. You know the Dad got the canvas print of our Gotcha Day photo and hung it on the wall going up the steps to the Upstairs Suite. Silly Simon was afraid to go up the steps for a while because there were two big cats guarding the steps. MOL! I told him it was us but he didn’t believe me. When those kitties didn’t move he finally figured out it was safe to go up the stairs again.
Not much else seems to be going on here, it’s actually been kind of quiet, except for Monday. The humans that mow the lawn came with a big vacuum and sucked up all of our leaves that had fallen in the yard. I wonder where in the world they took them and I wonder if they are going to try and put them back on some trees somewhere. You just never know, it seems like humans do some weird things sometimes.

Oh my, have you got it right Sister Seal- humans DO some weird things sometimes. If only I could post about some of the things I see these two do. Anyway, I’ve gotta say- your eyes are just the most stunning big, beautiful pools of icy blue gorgeousness!
Thank heaven your brother hasn’t tried that jump since. And some cats just don’t quite recognize themselves when they have a picture taken. My theory is cats know they look good so they don’t have to bother with mirrors often and don’t always recognize themselves in a picture because of it.

Once I bought a new rug to put in front of the kitchen sink. The old one was plain w/o design.
The new one had a goose on it. 100% freaked out Milky-way. He belly crawled to with 5′ of it then when high tail and run. He circled it for days then finally he decided to just SIT ON IT.

MOL! We have a couple of “fraidy cats” in our Tribe too! The othe rnight Lily jumped straight up in the air from her snuggling position with The Male Human, tail fuzzed and eyes round. None of us could figure out what spooked her. And by the way, we felines with big blue eyes need to show them off at every opportunity!
