Hello everyone, it’s me Zoe and it’s my turn for the Sister Saturday thing. I don’t mind, I sort of look forward to checking in with all of you. Guess what else? I get to check in with you tomorrow too since Brian nominated me to do the Easy and Sunday Selfie post. I’ll be taking my Easy right here with my Dad.
Speaking of the Dad, and that would include the Mom too, they said I’m a very purrplexing gal. Well, I do like to purr and I’m good at it, but I’m not real sure about the plexing part. What do they mean by that? Well, sometimes I eat good, sometimes I don’t. When I don’t eat like I should the Dad feeds me. That leads to the weight thing, most of the time I maintain my weight, but sometimes I don’t. I have a weigh-in every morning and if I lose some the Dad feeds me. Then there’s the fur licking and pulling thing. Sometimes I do a lot and sometimes I hardly ever do it. If I pull on my furs too much I have to wear my sweater.
Since I have to wear Cat Sweaters more than I’d like the Dad bought me two new ones. I now have a blue one and one that’s red and white with snow flakes for the Christmas Season. I know, I know, I’ll have to model those for you soon. I haven’t had the new ones on yet but I think it won’t be too long. Speaking of Christmas, did you know the Chewy Holiday Shop is up and running? I’ll have to see what I want to add to my list for Santa.
So, other than that purrplexing stuff I’ve been super happy, purring and playing with toys lots. Brother Simon always comes running if I start batting around one of the noisy toys. That boy loves to play and he can’t take it if someone is playing without him.
Okay gang, that’s going to wrap it up for me today, y’all have a great Saturday and I’ll see you tomorrow. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh Zoe, glad to hear that you are doing kind of OK. Sure hope you don’t sick again. You all have a great week end.
Perplexing sure can drive the peeps a bit nuts haha sweaters at least keep the big hairball from coming back. Orlin has a fit and pulls out his hair every year for the last 3 come sept/oct, did it this year and vet thought mold allergy, so cranked up the heat and viola, no more. Little things to stop these perplexing things I guess.
You do like to keep your people on their toes Zoe.
At least that way issues will have a harder time taking hold.
We love to hear you are having fun and playing with toys 🙂
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We’re sorry you are having food issues. We can’t wait to see your new sweaters!
The Florida Furkids
Thank goodness the Dad is there to keep an eye on you. Here’s hoping that you’re back to 100% soon for the holidays, so I’m sending some cat hugs your way! RO
Pretty Zoe, as much as I’d like to see you in that new holiday sweater – I think that if you never pull on your fur again and never have to have it on – that would be the best thing!
Zoe, welcome back. We’re glad you’re back. Stay well
Golly, Zoe! You certainly are keeping your peeps guessing! Yes, please model those new sweaters for us!
Well Zoe as long as you’re well and happy maybe the “perplexing” stuff isn’t such a bad thing. Hair pulling of course isn’t good especially in the winter when you NEED your hair to keep warm but your closet full of sweaters sure do the trick! Can’t wait for you to model your new ones.
Hugs, Teddy
I know it’s fun to keep the humans guessing, Zoe, but It worries them too. I can’t wait to see you in your new sweaters.
Zoe a girlz job is to keep everyone on their toes and you are #1 at that!!
Hugs Cecilia
You do sound as if you are hard to figure out. But it seems your dad keeps close tabs on you, so he can stop any problems. We cannot wait to see you in your new sweaters. Question: Do you lick and pull on your sweaters while you have them on? XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
oh Zoey! Tell Dad that since you are a girl cat maybe sometimes you want to watch your weight?
Zoe, we hope everything is going to be ok with you. Can’t wait to see your post tomorrow. Hope you and Simon have some fun this weekend with your toys. Thanks for the share. Have a great rest of your weekend.
Zoe, you are such a lovely girl. I’m sorry about the food issue. I wonder if those are times you aren’t feeling all that well. I’m glad that you’re happy!
Brulee doesn’t always want to eat what Mom Paula puts down, but then she’ll meow like crazy for treats!
I’m glad to hear you’re doing really good.
You cats do like to be mysterious, don’t you? We are glad you are doing well overall at least, Zoe. Plus we can’t wait to see you in your new sweaters, we just know you are going to look so pretty!
Zoe, lemme tell you. I have a weird eating schedule. The peeps don’t like it but I’ve maintained my weight for the past 5 years. Some days like today, I finish—by finish I mean leave some around the sides of the dish—my breakfast, lunch and dinner and just as often, I barely pick at my meals. It drives them nutz especially if I pick two days in a row. Tell you peeps that you can feel their worry and it worries you too. ❤️
We sure hope you will keep purring but stop plexing your mom and dad. They – and all your friends – want you to be healthy.
My Prancie and KaTwo also pull fur from their tummies. I have been giving Zyrtec to Prancie with good results, but I can’t get a pill into KaTwo. You may want to ask the vet if that would help Zoe. I can’t wait to see you in your pretty sweaters.
You sure like to keep your peeps guessing, don’tcha Zoe?
Zoe, it is good that you are mysterious. You have to keep our parents off balance. Just make sure you eat enough to maintain your weight. We don’t want you making yourself sick.
Zoe, you’re just keeping your Mom & Dad on their toes.
Zoe, there’s nothing more frustrating to humans than a kitty who can’t explain what is going on with her! I’m glad your humans are working to make you do better, even if they don’t understand what is going on.
That is odd, sometimes you are okay and sometimes not with the fur pulling and the eating. Certainly your peeps know to keep a diary and watch to see patterns, so i hope maybe they figure it out soon.
Happy Saturday!
Better a sweater than a big hairball!
You look gorgeous Sister Zoe and I bet you’ll look wonderful in your new sweaters. Why are you pulling your hair out? Christmas is not that stressful for cats. You don’t have to do any shopping. You just get cute little prezzies. Relax and enjoy and the holidays. (And I know all about watching the weight thing — my sympathies)
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaw Bless your heart. We’re sendin’ lots of hugs and purrayers.
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
