tabby tuesday simon 11202018Hey, I’m just checking to see if it fits! Hello everyone, it’s Tabby Tuesday with me Simon and you might have guessed yesterday that I’m the reason Brother Brian isn’t in his Throne all of the time.  Yes, of course, I do realize that it was his Throne, I mean is his Throne, but you can’t really blame me for trying in on for size.  Y’all know, if it fits we sits!  I think my Brother wasn’t overly happy with me, but he was pretty nice about it, he is a very easy going guy.

You can see the front of the Throne is looking a little worse for wear and that would be my fault.  Hey, it’s a scratcher so I started scratching.  The Dad made me stop though and explained that while it might look like a scratcher, it’s not, it’s a Royal parking place.  WHAT?  The Dad also told me that this one isn’t made any more so it’s the only one Brian has.  Okay, I’ll be nice to it and just sit here.  It does seem to fit pretty good though.

Let me tell you, Sister Seal and I can really go though the Cat Scratchers pretty quick though.  We probably get a new one every month or so and between the two of us we can make them unrecognizable in no time flat.  We’ve got to keep those claws nice and sharp in case we need them for something.  What about you, do you like Cat Scratchers or do you just prefer the good old furniture?

Have a fun Tuesday everyone, happy scratching! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later! – Please Help Marg

You look very chill, but yeah, don’t go destroying the last one. Maybe the Dad can find another on ebay, worked for us when we needed a no longer in print toy. One of us prefers scratchers while the other prefers furniture haha

Wow, Simon, you and Seal sure are good for scratching on scratchers rather than the furniture! 🙂 Me and CArmines like to scratch on the couch, MOL!!! The Mom lady is always saying, “Carmine, you know better than that,” but he does it anyway! I like to scratch on the tree so much that I have actually made the pedestal all crocked!
    Happy scratching to you!

We all love our scratchers. That makes them all the better to just tear them up. That is so nice of Brian to let you sit there. You all have a great day. And the Mom thanks you very much for helping us out with the monies. Lucky had to go the vet again on Sunday.

So that’s the throne. Now I know. I’m glad you’re not tearing it up. Looks like your nice too.

I heard that you two can go through the scratchers. Seek and destroy can be fun. I’m sure the peeps don’t mind one bit as long as you’re happy.

Have a purrfect Tabby Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥

Hello Simon. I can totally see why you love the throne. Just be sure to share! Bridget, the calico at my house is also “fully loaded” but is a good girl and keeps to the cat scratchers. She also gets her claws trimmed periodically. She whines about it, but always cooperates.

You are lucky to have such a sweet brother, Simon! Our Sam never bothered the furniture – her preference has always been scratching at any woodwork she could get her claws on! Now that she’s older she loves her scratcher more, and uses it both for scratching and for lounging too.

  8. Teddy

Mom has tried out several different scratchers with me but I ignore all of them and prefer the oriental carpet. Mom says that’s better than the furniture so I guess I win. HAHAHA

    Hugs, Teddy

Simon, we were kinda guessing it was you that was taking up the throne. Looks like a wonderful spot to relax. You are such a pro at going at your scratcher. With getting a new one every month you both must have really sharp kitty claws. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.

While we love all our scratchers, we are nowhere near as rough on them as you and Seal, Simon! Our old cat tree? It took YEARS to get it in some sort of sad condition… which was still usable.

Maybe we aren’t real cats, LOL!

We had a feeling you may have been trying out Brisn’s throne…but I bet he won’t mind, as long as you don’t scratch it up too much!

I KNEW it was you! I knew it! I love my scratchers and so far I have left furniture alone but I do claw the carpet when mom doesn’t hear me or see me.

Simon, I think it is okay if you sit on the throne as long as you have respect for the throne.

  14. Cathy Keisha

Brian is nice to let you sit there but you must show some respect for his throne. Autumn used to go through a lot of scratchers but I don’t use the cardboard ones. I like the sisal ones but I’ve gotten through a couple of those.

  15. Raven

Simon, you look good in Brian’s throne, but you shouldn’t get used to it. He deserves his special spot. Cardboard scratchers are my favorite thing to scratch.

  16. Bell Fur Zoo

MOL you look great in da throne Simon. I like my scratchers on my kitty tree but other then that I love a good couch or rug scratching (which Mama thoroughly frowns upon)!

When our cats were younger, they were very predictable in sleeping spots – now it seems to change every day, or maybe it’s just that the older one keeps stealing the spots of the younger one!!!

  18. Deziz World

Hey Simon, we too can make short work of a scratcher. Glad tho’ that you’re bein’ nice ’bout Brian’s scratcher. Ifin he can’t ever get another one like it, maybe you should use another one. Big hugs

hmmm, are you sure it’s a throne and not a scratcher. If it’s a throne, maybe you could scratch your initials on it so everyone knows it’s your throne. It’s the last one? Maybe not. No scratching. Scratching my head, I still wonder if it’s a throne.
