Once again I’m happy to say welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, we are always delighted to see you! Today it’s time for us to post about things we are thankful for and totay is no exception. We always look forward to reading about all of the things you are thankful for too and we sure love it when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
Today I am so thankful that the ringing has stopped. During election season it seems like our phone was ringing non-stop. Just when it stopped it started up again. The Dad said it was some robot calling us but I didn’t even know we knew any robots. I’ll bet it was really a bunch of aliens calling to beam us up. I’ll tell you what, it was sure hard to get a good nap in with that noise. It wasn’t anywhere as bad as the door bell but it was getting close. I was about ready to send them a nice big batch of Catnip so they could at least be distracted for a while.
So, let’s all give a shout-out to peace and quiet and hope it lasts for a while. I know, I know, with Brother Simon and Sister Seal running about it’s not overly quiet, but at least their noise is entertaining. I hope you all have a wonderfully quiet Thursday.
What are you thankful for today? Tell me in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
All that phone ringing paid off in WI, hoorah, but I know what you mean, Brian you could barely answer the phone or shut your dreary eyes for a second without a disturbance. Hope the trick-or-treater commotion wasn’t too hard on you guys.
Yes, thank goodness the elections are over with down in the States. It wrecked our TV viewing as there were ads that went on forever for different politicians we’d never heard of before. Another reason to be thankful. lol
We can all relax once again.
Jean
We are with you, sweet pals. The phone has been so much quieter here today, too! Thank Cod!
Oh we agree, we hate the ringing, and our parents never pick it up. What a waste of time
I’m sure Brother Simon and Sister Seal’s running around is much preferable to that incessant ringing. If it’s almost as bad as the doorbell, then it’s pretty bad! Looks like you’ve got a nice sunny spot in which to enjoy the quiet.
Not many campaigns had my human’s phone number, but a bunch had her email and she got, literally, thousands of emails from different campaigns. Did she read any? Oh, maybe one or two. That’s like a .001% open rate, MOL!
wow isn’t that scary that robots can call you? what will they do next?
yes we waz wondering the same thing… hope no one frum the Daleks or Borg – Joey, the cat comedian Nike kid who hasn’t been on the blog fur awhile.
That’s a wonderful thing to be thankful for ! We’re thankful we got some rainy days, because Mother Nature was very thirsty here. Purrs
We were tired of all those phone calls too! Now we can all catch up on what we do best – NAP!!!!!
Hugs, Teddy
So ET was trying to phone home? He sure got the wrong number.
I hope you get some peace and quiet now. Thankfully that doesn’t seem to happen in the UK on election days.
Sure glad the ringing stopped and we are glad the elections are over. You all have a fantastic day.
Oh boy do we hear you about the ringing and crazy invasive phone calls every day!
We are doing Joining you today too
Hugs
Cecilia
Thankfully, no one called our house, not sure why, but I was happy about it!
I’m thankful we don’t have to watch the ads on tv anymore!
Meow, but my staff would have been very upset if their phones dared to be that annoying! That’s why they had their number put on both the National Do Not Call List as well as one for Florida, which is where we live. http://ww3.nationaldonotcalllist.org if you haven’t added you #, yet.

Brian, we couldn’t agree with you more. Between the phone ringing and all the commercials…we’re just glad it’s all over now.
And our house Mom’s phone plays nice mewsic plus she doesn’t answer numbers she doesn’t recognize. Doorbells freak us out so Dad put a sign on our door to prevent strangers from bothering us. We are thankful to have a reasonably quiet home. Except for Rabbit, our baby brofur who causes a lot of chaos.
We are thankful the ringing stopped too. 🙂
well ….my image failed to load properly…..oh well! Have a great week!
We too were happy about the phone not ringing all day long. Not to mention all the flyers left at our door. What a wonderful thing to be thankful for.
Have a fabulous Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Right now i am thankful we have work.
Amen to that! Do they really think they’ll get my vote by interrupting dinner with a robo-call? I’m thankful that there was a good turnout, that people got involved in this election, but I’m even more thankful it is finally over! Our Poor kitties were being driven crazy, which drove us crazy!
Brian, we feel your pain! And some nasty stuff has shown up on FB, which I don’t understand. But we legalized hippie lettuce, so that’s fairly interesting!
How are you feeling, Brian? Is your mouth all healed?
We know exactly what you are talking about, Brian, and we are so glad to have our peace and quiet back too!
Brian I am glad you are getting some peaceful snoozes fur a while… Hope Sister Seal and Brother Simon are better than watching bird TV! Purrz and thanks fur stopping by about Bibi. -Katie Kat the Mom
We don’t have a landline, so we were spared most of that. I didn’t mind getting email updates from my representative and senator that were up for reelection – in fact for the first time ever I donated to help them win (they did – especially sweet to see the white nationalist candidate in our state lose. Talk about a reason to feel thankful!). But the commercials on TV were awful, so I get what you’re saying. We can only hope they don’t start the 2020 madness for a few more days 🙁
Brian, I am thankful for you, your brother and all your sisters and your mom and dad. Really and truly.
We are glad your ringing…the silly human TV ads…and very thankful other assorted human pawlitical sillyness is over for awhile too!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Our mom loves the quiet and hates when the phone rings. We hadn’t realized, but you are right, it hasn’t been ringing as much the last two days. Mom wants to get rid of our land-line, but Dad is balking. She has the ringer turned down as low as it will go. We will add that less phone calls to our thankful list as well. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Mom too is thankful the elections are over – the news was nonstop about them. Now of course, we have new things for them to be yakking about, and today’s news was more sad stuff. But we are thankful we have a good home and don’t have to worry about all those human difficulties.
Enjoy those antics from the young ones – they too will grow up one of these days:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I am glad your phone has stopped and you can get some peace and quiet at last.
I don’t have a landline and I keep my cell phone on silent, so the ringing never started for me, haha 🙂
that’s how my husband’s phone was lol! We don’t use our landline (we have it unplugged and just keep it for emergencies), so nothing there….I only received a few texts…THANK COD!!
Whoa! We didn’t get not one phone call but we got some mail telling us who to vote for. Funny, they were all for the party we were voting for. I guess the other party knew we didn’t want them. MOL! Enjoy your rest and be thankful you don’t live in Iowa where the calls will start coming soon for the 2020 election caucuses.
We completely agree…isn’t it a relief?!?!?!
We love peace and quiet too!!!
I guess I’m thankful we didn’t have any robo calls! I’m glad yours have ended.
Agreed! I am so thankful that the election is over so I stop seeing all the hateful ads.
Boy are we efur fankful fur dat too and dat da mailers stopped… Don’t they nose we are trying to save da trees.

Matilda (& Matt)
HAHA…yep I am entertained when Lily has those silly moments when she takes off running and jumping. Cats are so silly sometimes. Hoping you have a great weekend.
I know how important peace and quiet is to kitties!
