Mancat Monday: A Tree Snoozy Is a Doozy of a Snoozy

mancat monday brian 12032018Hooray for Mancat Monday, especially a Mancat Monday with our Christmas Tree.  The Mom and Dad were a little later that usual putting up the Christmas Tree this year, but that’s okay, I’m just so happy it’s here.  That’s exactly as it should be.  I love Christmas and I love the Christmas Tree.

I did get excited when I started to see things coming from the upstairs storage on Saturday and I knew exactly what was going on.  Brother Simon and Sister Seal weren’t quite sure what to think.  They were a wee bit scared of all the noise and activity even though they were out in the whole house last Christmas.  It took most of the day but they finally figured it out and then all was good.  Well, sort of good.  There was a period of time when we heard a lot of No Simon and No Seal for the first night but fortunately each morning our tree is still standing.

Oh, Sister Zoe and Sister Dolly knew exactly what to do and spent a lot of snoozy time under the Christmas Tree too.  At one point the three of us were having a snooze fest and really enjoying it too.  So, now we’re all in the holiday spirit and we’ll be ready for Santa Watch when the need arises.

Have a fun day Monday everyone!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Christmas tree naps are THE BEST – Sammy sure loved doing that…..we can’t look UNDER our tree without thinking of him.

    Hugs, Teddy

Ohhh Angel Madi did love sitting under our tree, so much so I put a few bells on the bottom branches just to let her know I knew what she was doing. This is our first year in 16 w/o feline under our tree.

Yay for the Christmas tree being up! You look so cozy, Brian. We hope we’ll get to see a photo of you and your sisters all snoozing under there together. We also hope No Simon and No Seal behave and the tree stays up!! 🙂

It’s interesting how new things in the house draw the attention of everyone, including the pets. At first our cocker spaniel was not a big fan of the tree. Now, she pays it no mind.

Awww, so cute. It’s good when the kitties don’t destroy the ornaments or topple the tree. Sleeping under it is far better.

Have a purrfect Awww and Mancat Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥

You look so sweet and comfy under the tree, Brian! Glad the tree is standing beautifully after some no Simon and no Seal 🙂 Enjoy your snooze!

Hmm, Brian…I’m beginning to see an opportunity for someone to design a all-year tree, just for the kittie’s pleasure! Napping under its boughs would be the purrfect way to spend your time, methinks!

Nothing like a little snooze under the Christmas tree. You look so adorable in the photo. We hope Santa Paws has plenty of goodies for you all this year. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful rest of your week.

What kind of creature is Santa in your mind, Brian? (: One of my favorite things about Christmas was seeing which of my best friend’s cats would scurry up their Christmas tree. And it stayed upright. Sometimes.

You look so sweet laying there under the Christmas tree. My Lily Bit has hidden behind it and behind Father Christmas but has not tried to get in the tree or mess with anything on it. This is her second yr with a tree and she was a good girl last yr. Now if she would just stop trying to push the envelope on getting on the kitchen counters. I had her broke but lately she just wants to push. Whats up with that?

We know how much you love your tree, Brian. We be you and your Sisters love the quiet under there away from the two young ‘uns:)

Oh, I can’t wait to snooze under my tree as soon as Mom sets it up. I heard her say that she plans to put it up this weekend after Aunties birthday. Maybe until then I could come over and hang out under the tree with you? Hugs.

Mom put up our tree today, but she hasn’t done anything to it yet. That starts tomorrow. This is actually pretty early for her. We wish everyone happy Christmas snoozes. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

We hate when the tree goes up but don’t mind it being there. Do you ever climb up?

  15. Pam Jackson

Oh Simon, you have the best job ever…that means you will see Santa first! Just sit back and watch, don’t yell cause you don’t want to scare him off. You will get to see him place your gift under the tree and eat his cookies! Best job ever cause now you also get to park it somewhere near the tree and take it easy.

  16. Cathy Keisha

TW says when she was growing up, that Santa dude used to put the tree up Christmas Eve after they were in bed and then put the gifts under it. Dunno how he did this at every house in the world. I guess there were far fewer humans.

Charlee: “You’re resting up from climbing in the tree and knocking down ornaments and stuff, right, Brian?”
Chaplin: “Charlee, don’t jump to conclusions. He could be resting up BEFORE climbing in the tree and knocking down ornaments and stuff. You know, to gather his strength.”
Charlee: “Oh, yes, that could be, too.”
