Hello everyone, it’s the Mancat Monday version of Christmas Eve, or Christmas Eve day depending on when you are reading this. This year we’re breaking from tradition. Most of you know that for the past 8 years I’ve posted my version of The Night Before Christmas. It just doesn’t seem right this year since, counting Angels Ivan and Moses, there are now more Angels in the story than the rest of us still here. Things never remain the same so we’ll always be happy with all that we have now.

I do love the Christmas Tree so I’m going to be here for a while waiting for Santa to show up. I have spent a good bit of time here, but I know that doesn’t surprise you. I was a bit surprised that Brother Simon and Sister Seal don’t seem to find this a nice place for a snooze. They both seem to prefer the cat trees, but that’s okay too.

I do hope you all have a most enjoyable Christmas Eve Day and enjoy the special times with family and friends. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Yes, things change. It’s the one thing we can always count on. Traditions also change and we’ve noticed that too.

Have a purrfect Christmas Eve day. My best to your peeps. β™₯

Happy Christmas, Terry … to you and yours and all the furry ones ’round the tree and those looking down from above. We are blessed to have you in our lives, we thank you for all you do and all you give in your care for our four-footed-furry friends ~ you make the world a better place. With love, Ann … Dougie Dog and Zoey, too.

You are so adorable under the tree, Brian! I agree, things never remain the same, and we are happy with all we have now. Wishing you and all your family a very Merry Christmas!

Brian, we are sorry for all the loss you have experienced and this year, we know, has been particularly tough. It is good that you’re happy with all that you have now. We wish you all a very happy Christmas!

p.s. We’re glad you get that spot to yourself. It looks wonderful and it won’t last long.

We are happy to see you getting your “tree” time, Brian. We too have more angels than we would like, but we are going to hope they will all help light the skies for Santa. Has anyone reminded Brother Simon that Santa will only stop by when all good kitties are sleeping?

    Merry Christmas!!!

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber and Mom too

perhaps it is time for new traditions, Brian. that is ok. we love to see you snoozing and enjoying your space under the Christmas tree. Simon and Seal don’t know what they are missing, eh? though all the more space for you to stretch out πŸ™‚ have a wonderful day, evening, and Merry Christmas!

You have that cozy spot all for yourself, big bonus! It’s a little different for us this year too as we will be missing an angel, but the Lady Cat honored Earl Grey as top cat in a drawing. He’s with us in spirit, as are your angel fursibs too. She also wants to thank dad Terry for the lovely Christmas card xx

  9. Valentine

You look quite cozy under the tree. Mom thought I’d be under the tree, but I haven’t been interested in lounging under it this year. She put it in a different location. I liked it better at the old spot. Tee hee hee.

Brian, β€œThe present changes the past. Looking back you do not find what you left behind.” Change is good! A lovely thing about Christmas is that it’s compulsory, like a thunderstorm and we all go through it together. Let’s buckle up and enjoy the ride.
