Mancat Monday: I Think I Smell Reindeer

36 Comments on Mancat Monday: I Think I Smell Reindeer

mancat monday brian 12172018Hello everyone, it’s Mancat Monday and it’s just one week before Christmas Eve, it sure is coming quickly. I’d best make sure that Brother Simon is on Santa Watch and that he is taking that task seriously. I know, I know, I did have him start a wee bit early by assigning him this task a couple of weeks ago, but now it’s time for the Santa Watch to begin.

How close it it getting? Well, I swear I can smell reindeer, really, I can smell them as they are prepping and making their flight plans. Y’all know what a keen sense of smell us kitties have so I know what I’m smellin’ about.  Of course once they are all geared up and take off we’ll her the jingle bells jingling when they get underway.

We’re not supposed to have any snow for Christmas this year, but that’s okay, it might be a little safer for Santa down here in the South.  A couple of years ago he made a hard landing on our roof since it was snowy and some of the packages bounced out of the sleigh and landed on our deck.  Let me tell you, that sure arose such a clatter!

So, I hope y’all are getting ready too because Christmas will sure be here before you know it.  I hope you have a super duper Monday and I’ll see on on Thursday for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

No snow is a win no matter the time of year. I hope you don’t have to smell what those reindeer leave behind.

God boy Brian, to keep Simon on his toes watching for Santa. Don’t forget, you have to tell us right away when you have him in your sights. You all have a fantastic day.

Brian,

We’re not expecting any snow, either. Our weather doesn’t look too bad considering it’s the end of December and that’s purrfectly fine with me. We had enough chilly conditions at the beginning to last me all winter long. lol Have a joyful, blessed Christmas!

I agree I’m pretty sure that is the identity of what I’m smelling too…

We may have a non-white Christmas too…which is kinda sad because that’s the only time we like getting snow!

You look so happy and content, Brian!! We think it’s wise to give Simon a job, it might keep him out of trouble better.
Luke smelled reindeer out in our yard last night, too (or maybe that was real deer? It was dark out and he wouldn’t tell). 🙂

Of course we all want Santa to be safe, but I too am happy that our precipitation levels are low for this time of year!

I knew it I smelled reindeer too. In fact, so much so they gave me the inspiration to write some poems. As for Daisy Mae though, I think she smells them because she wanted to make sure Santa Paws and his reindeer were still coming. I assured her they were because she was on 2 lists—The Nice List And Very Nice List. Bet you are too.

We already had so much snow at the start of the season, but now it’s melted. It will surely be different for us if we end up having no snow this Christmas. Whether it’s a white Christmas for you or not, we wish you a special one. Let’s hope Santa has a safe landing this time!

We don’t have any snow here either, and we are not likely to see any before Christmas. We aren’t sure what reindeer smell like, so maybe you could send Brother Simon over to help us out:)

Now we know who put the claws in Santa Claws. The watch looks a little tense but maybe some tuna and nip will take the edge off. What does Santa smell like anyway?
