Surprise, there isn’t a Sister Saturday post today, instead I’m here to celebrate my 10th Gotcha Day. It sure is hard to believe that I’ve been in my forever home for 10 years now. It seems like so long ago when I didn’t think I was ever going to be adopted. My Gotcha Day a few days before Christmas was the best gift a kitty could receive.
Most of y’all know my Gotcha story so I’m not going to repeat it today. Let’s just say that’s why I’ve worked so hard to help other critters get to their forever homes. Lot’s has changed over 10 years. My mentor, my late Brother Ivan taught me many things in the 11 months we had together, probably the most important was how to get along with others. That was truly a wonderful gift and why we were able to have a large kitty family. I welcomed each new member with open paws. There’s only 5 of us kitties now, but those lessons still live in my heart.
I feel so fortunate to have so many friends from all around the world and I’m really thrilled that one of those pals trusted me enough to take over the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop when they could no longer continue it. That really helps me keep my pawsitive paw forward and that’s what a happy life is all about.
Thanks to the Mom for finding me and for bugging the Dad to bring me home. All I really wanted was a home and to be loved and I sure got both. Thanks for being on my journey with me.
