Hello everyone, welcome to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, you know we are always so very happy to see you! We do this every Thursday so now it’s time for us to post about things we are thankful for today. We always look forward to reading about all of the things you are thankful for too and we sure love it when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
Today I’m thankful that I got my shopping done for my Brother and my Sisters. My paws are pretty tired from all of that tappin’ on the keyboard. Actually they are pretty easy to shop for since they like most anything new, even if it looks like something they already have. I can’t really tell you what I got them since they read the blog too, but let’s just say that Cat Scratchers are pretty popular around here as is anything with Catnip. I know, I know, you would have never guessed that one.
You’re probably thinking scratchers, really, look at that ottoman?!?! Well, I didn’t do the creative shredding on the ottoman. Okay, let me put it this way…I didn’t do the creative shredding on the ottoman all by my self. The artistic ottoman shreds is a collective endeavor of many of us throughout the years. The peeps haven’t bought a new ottoman yet because we’ve got this one broken in so nicely. We really are fond of this one, can you tell?
I’m also very thankful that over the years none of us artists have gotten into any trouble for this. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Your ottoman looks like a very attractive scratching spot. My Mom has kept an upholstered love seat because all the kitties have enjoyed occasionally sinking their claws into it. Thankfully, we haven’t gone at it like you all have gone at your ottoman, but it’s here just in case I ever get the urge to get my claws into some fabric. Our other furniture is leather and it’s absolutely off limits in the scratching department. Mostly we all have favored cardboard scratchers.
We are so thankful today. Budd is expecially thankful as he hasn’t been in a warm house for some time. Thanks for hosting Thankful Thursday every week. You’re the best.

That ottoman looks “well-loved.” Yes, that’s what it is called around here. 🙂
We bet your siblings will love their gifts, Brian!
Can’t wait to see the gifts! You look so relaxed. Love the long stretched leg. Thanks for hosting this blog hop!
we hear ya…. and we are still busy with finding something special for the staff and for us ;o)
I am glad you have been able to get all your shopping done, Brian. The ottoman looks very well loved. Eric used to like the laundry basket in the bathroom and when anybody came I used to turn it around. I had to remember to turn it back again when they left so it had one presentable side.
WooHoo for having your shopping done Brian!
We like that your folks are leaving your ottoman there.
It’s just getting broken in 😉 MOL!

We’re not even close to finishing the shopping here! Eeek!
We sure do have a lot of thankfuls this time of year. This week we were thankful we didn’t get a lot of snow but next week I’m sure we’ll have a NEW bunch of thankfuls – there’s always something that makes us smile.
Hugs, Teddy
haha yeah, we never get into trouble for such art either. Your gifts are far more pg than what we give to the humans.
Your ottoman looks very comfy, we are thankful for good friends like you. Mom is thankful the Christmas shopping is done, now she just has to get them wrapped.
You kitties did such a good job decorating that ottoman. We love to decorate things around here. You all have one really nice day.
Oh dear. My kitties have never ruined any stuff with there super dangerous claws, but they have scratchers they love all over the house to use.
We wish we had our shopping done!
Congrats on getting all the Christmas shopping done! We have our youngest daughter and SIL to buy for, as well as my parents then we’ll be done. Yay! It’ll be a modest season for gift giving with our recent car purchase but then we were never ones big into giving elaborate presents anyhow. I like giving and getting simple gifts to honor the Christ child not take away from His birth and the wonderful gift to all mankind. It’s so easy to lose our focus on Christmas’ true meaning with all the shopping frenzy. Hopefully, after the new year, I… Read more »
Yay Brian…now you can sit back and relax on that designer ottoman!!
Hugs Cecilia
We still need to do our shopping!
Brian, dear furiend, you’re correct, we’re thankful for our oak tree limbs, which we use for scratchers! We’re also thankful that you take the time to host this hop every week. Thank you!

A scratcher and comfy place to sleep all in one! We would let you keep it too. ♥
How nice that you all worked on the ottoman together 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
A new ottoman would mean you guys would have to start all over. I can see why you are thankful.
I’m guessing you kitties won’t get in any trouble at all. You sure wouldn’t at my house either. I think you’ve all done some great artistic work on that ottoman.
I switched likies to the one you’re using. Mr. Linky doesn’t want to share with others. Too bad.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
We are almost done with our Christmas shopping too! We think you all are very talented artists…the pulls on your masterpiece ottoman are just pawfect!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
If your people bought a new ottoman, you kitties would just have to scratch it into the condition you wanted! 🙂
Brian, good for you, that you’ve finished your shopping! As for the ottoman…well, it was designed without cats in mind, otherwise they would have wrapped it in sisal!
THanks for hosting! I am finishing the gift shopping but not the wrapping. The hubby is a great gift wrapper and he has tons of overtime these days! Good to see you here. HUGS
We are very thankful today. Glad you now can relax and rest up after all that Christmas shopping you got completed already. Looks like the ottoman has seen better days but the new scratcher and catnip will be purfect presents. Thanks for the share. Have a great rest of your day.
Brian we are creative shredders too. Mom put a cover OVER the sofa so now we can attack THAT and she is OK with that. It’s the only piece we all go after she can’t figure out why?? But she is ‘thankful’ for that. MOL Glad all your shopping is d-o-n-e!

What a great brother you are!
Glad to hear you got all the ordering done. I finished all my shopping as well.
I think you guys have got that ottoman just where you want it, Brian. I’m thankful this day is over…or is it?
Finishing your Christmas shopping is definitely something to be thankful for!
It sounds very right to be thankful for people who don’t yell when you shred the furniture. Happy Thursday!
You are a very kind and thoughtful Brother, Brian. We bet your brother and sisters will love whatever they receive. That ottoman looks like it has been well worn from love.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That ottoman, MOL! Brian, your folks’ reason for not replacing it is the same reason why our mom won’t recarpet our house! Pick pick pick!
Good to get a head start on the shopping. I need a gift wrapper. My most unfavorite thing to do. The hubby is so good at it but he is working lots of overtime these days. Felines find so many interesting scratching posts. Hmmmm……….Have a wonderful weekend. THe days are flying by. HUGS
Brian, we were so intent on looking at your magnificent dangle that we didn’t even see the ottoman! Your humans love you all so much, we know you’d never get in trouble for your artistic work on that ottoman. Our thankful is that Mom won us that cool automatic litter box. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
other than something for our Vet’s office, and a couple more gifts we are done too! (we are doing Chanukah on Christmas lol)
My peeps are thankful that I don’t show my artistic talent on the furniture. I can’t wait to see what you bought me … I mean bought your sibs.
I love your ottoman! It’s a treasure trove of memories!
Thank you so much for hosting the blog hop. The middle of the week (Wed-Thurs) gets super super busy for me so I rarely have time to visit others on the hop or give you a proper thank you in my post. Sorry about that. I am so grateful that you host the hop!
Hey Brian dude, congrats on getting all the shopping done – we’ve done nothing here yet – OOPS!!!
And today we’re thankful the P.A. remembered to join the hop!!!! MOL
Happy Firday
The B Team xox

also what ever happened to the Best Friends Village? seem like the mom can’t find anything online about it – hope that is a good thing.
hmmm, your paws are tired from shopping and tapping …… or from shredding and scratching? it’s an even bet, I’m thinking
Thanks to your family work, your ottoman is unique ! We’re sure your siblings will love your gifts. Purrs
