Welcome to Mancat Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fun weekend, or a relaxing weekend, or both. Ours was pretty relaxing and we all seemed to get a lot of snooze time in, which is always a good thing. It was pretty darn cold down this way but the really cold stuff is going to be here any time, something like that nasty Polar Vortex thingy we had a few years ago, yuck. Keep warm everyone.
Anyways, I did spend some time this weekend sitting on a few of our
Hey, while I’m thinking about it, I want to mention something that’s coming up next Monday on February 4th. The Dad is having a cataract removed from his right eye so chances are really good that we won’t be able to visit you next Monday. Not to worry, we’ll all take good care of the Dad when he gets home and I’ll remind you next Monday that we may not be around so you won’t worry if you don’t see us.
Have a fun week everyone, I’ll see you on Thursday for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we ponder about a cat scratcher for da nelly, he probably needs one before we need new furnitures ;O) we cross all paws and fingers for your dads appointment next monday…
We like the look of that double scratcher, Brian!
We will send lots of god vibes to your Dad. Our #1 will need one of those surgeries at some stage in the future.
Purrs,
The Chans
I hope everything goes well with your human’s cataract operation!
A good sitting gives the cat scratcher a rest too. Hopefully the surgery goes well.
Brian,
Tell the Dad that cataract surgery isn’t a big deal. My DH had the procedure done last year in his left eye. You might recall that he had a detached retina (same eye) a couple of years ago. That surgery escalated, the need for cataract removal. He bounced back really quickly. Saying prayers things go well and thing in Blogosphere can wait!
We sure wish the Dad good luck with his surgery. We will keep all of our paws crossed for him. That sure looks like a great scratcher, Brian. You all stay warm too.
Good luck to your dad on his cataract removal. Mom says these days it is a simple thing compared to what it used to be. My gramma had it done, but it was before I was born. Have a fun week.
I need to buy some sort of scratcher material to wrap around my bed! That’s L&Ms favourite place to scratch. Hope the op all goes OK.
Hey, they are your scratchers, so you can do whatever you want on them, can’t you, Brian? 🙂
We hope all goes well with your Dad’s cataract removal, and know you will all take very good care of him!
You always look so sweet on your scratcher, Brian💗We hope the operation will turn out fine for your Dad so that he can see better *crosses paws*. Extra Pawkisses for now🐾😽💞
all the best to your Dad!
I will add your Dad to my prayers. I hope his surgery goes well. XO
I totally ignore scratchers that my Mom has bought for me – I won’t even SIT on one. Crazy isn’t it. I’m just DIFFERENT I think. I don’t like boxes either – now isn’t THAT weird?! I’m glad your Dad is getting his eye fixed Monday and I know that all of you will pitch in to keep him company when he gets home and recovers.
Hugs, Teddy
Hoping all goes well for Dad on Monday!!!!!!! Sending lots of purrs of good wishes!
You can do whatever you want with your scratcher. I know the peeps don’t mind one bit. I wouldn’t either. You’re a good looking mancat.
Tell dad that this surgery only takes a few minutes and he won’t believe how well he’ll see the next day when the patch comes off. Just remember to do all the drops.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Mancat and Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Brian lots of luck to the Dad on his cataract surgery. My Bryan had cataract surgery on both eyes 1st in September and 2nd in October 2018. Lots of drops in Dad’s future
Hugs Cecilia
You look good on your scratcher, hoping you don’t scratch on non-scratcher areas though – MOL!
Lexy sits on her scratcher all the time, like it’s her throne. What’s up with that?
dood…..sum time…scratch de wallz…makes a sound just like chalkz thatz been used ta a
“point”z on de black bored at skewl
mackerull
Yes it does. I curl mom’s hair with that sound made that way, a LOT.
Unfortunately, we’ll be in the thick of the polar vortex the next few days. I don’t plan to go anywhere….but all my bird feeders are empty so I suppose I’ll be venturing outside anyway. I hope all goes well with your dad’s cataract surgery. Extra purrs and cuddles will definitely be in order. Stay warm!
We hope everything goes well for your dad. Purrs
Hope you found time to do some quality scratching today Brian!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
That polar vortex is here now and getting worse by the hour. We hope you stay warm. Good luck to Dad with his cararact surgery. Our Dad has had it done in both eyes years ago, and Mom is probably looking at in the next couple of years. All the best.

Happy Mancat Monday. We had a relaxing weekend. We see that sometimes you can sit on a scratcher and be just comfortable. Like in the photo. We have your dads appointment on Monday goes smoothly and you little fur babies are ready to take care of him when he gets home. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
Sometimes it is good to just sit on your scratcher, Brian. I am sending your dad good wishes for his cataract surgery.
Tell your dad that will go by in just a few minutes; and by the next day, he can stand the brightness of the screen if he turned it down a bit about half way and avoid sunlight like the plague.
Purrayers for your Dad to do well with his cataract surgery.
Hey, Brian…don’t sit…scratch! 🙂 Purring for your dad and hope all goes well for him and his eye.
That looks like a cool place to hang out!
I had two cataracts removed. I’m such a wimp and was really worried but there was nothing to it. Amazing how easy such procedures are today.
Brian, we used to have a very neat scratcher that William liked to sit on…and then Izzy sat on it and broke it.
Good luck with the surgery to your dad! And Amarula does the same thing with her scratcher- she likes to ponder the meaning of life on it!
Well, I suppose you can do as you like with your scratcher…within reason! 🙂
I hope all goes well with your Dad’s surgery.
Maybe you just don’t like scratching on cardboard. I know I don’t. Hope Pop’s surgery is as easy as TW’s. She was back to normal in no time. Just no heavy lifting for awhile. Seems all the bloggers get them.
Praying Dad’s surgery goes well, and i don’t blame you for wanting to keep your scratchers in good condition.
Does the cardboard feel good on your butt? Our mom is having cataract surgery at the end of February. We wish you dad lots of luck
Those scratchers appear to be very un-scratched. Paws crossed that your Dad’s cataract surgery goes really smoothly.
Our scratchers see a lot of scratching and sitting. Hope all goes well for your dad on the 4th!
That’s a purretty cool lookin’ scratcher handsum. We’ll send purrayers fur uncle Terry. Mommy had those cats and rats cut outta her eyes a few years ago. She says it’s easy peasy. Stay warm. Big hugs
Luv ya’

Chaplin: “We are sending your Dad lots of purrs for good luck with his surgery tomorrow!”
