mancat monday brian 02252019

Yes indeed, it’s Mancat Monday and I’m prepared to snooze though it, well, I won’t snooze through it all day, but probably a lot of the day. Hey, it’s what we kitties do and we’re all darn good at it too. It’s not just a Monday thing, we can pretty much do it any old day of the week, we’re true snoozy professionals

Anyways, my Cat Tree Kitty Cup could be a wee bit bigger. I’ve got two paws that didn’t quite fit. Oh, that’s okay though, I really am quite comfy. It’s just like it is with boxes, even if they are a bit small we’ll make it work. Take a look behind me, up and out the window, it’s actually sunshine, we’ve not seen that in a while, the sunpuddles are growing and growing. Once they make their way into the house I’ll probably go find one and catch some warm on the furs.

Now, before I go, I just want to ask something to those of you who use WordPress. A while back the main editor in WordPress was upgraded to their Gutenberg Block Editor. The “classic editor” is still available via a plugin. We’ve been using Gutenberg ever since it was released without any real issues. If you’re using WordPress have you made the switch yet or are you holding out as long as you can? I’m just curious, hey, it’s a cat thing!

Have a fun Monday everyone, see ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Happy Monday to you!!! we use the old way it is easier for us… the mama said maybe it is possible to teach an old dog a trick but an older mama is probably hard candy when it comes to new things BOL

Awww, you look so comfy in your cat tree. Pinkie is jealous and wants one too.

I have been using the classic editor plug-in. I find the new formatting a little frustrating but I also feel I need to spend some time and just do it.

We had to switch or we could not use the back end. Mom was mortified with all that block stuff, and really didn’t have time to figure it all out. She installed the classic editor plug in and we have been using it ever since and will continue to use it because that other Gutenberg thing is no Gut in our opinion. Working on a smaller laptop screen it was even more difficult because we could not see much other than a big block. That’s our take on it.

Nice hangover, Brian! The mom is a hold out and hasn’t used Gutenberg yet. She’s using the Classic Editor plugin for as long as she can…but she knows she’s gonna have to learn Gutenberg eventually.

You look mighty comfy even though all of you isn’t in your cup. Kitties are most agile.

Yes I’m using the Gutenberg Block Editor. It’s working just fine for me too.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. β™₯

You sure do look cozy, Brian! With the weather we’ve been having lately, snoozing is about the only thing to do!
I have been using the Classic Editor plugin. I tried to use the Block Editor a couple of times, but I couldn’t figure it out easily, and I don’t have a lot of extra time for learning new things – and no patience for it either! πŸ™‚
Kudos to your Dad for jumping right in!

You look comfy. I hate the new editor, I have the classic plug-in. Even with that though, I have trouble getting a photo on linkies.

When Gutenberg first came out I switched to the classic editor. I am not big on change but more so found the editor to be slightly buggy and confusing. Recently due to an update decided to try again and it works like a charm. Still a bit confusing but I am working it out.

I love your cat, Mine are always hanging out and over something. They seem not to mind a bit.

That looks like an Easy Monday ! We made the switch to the new editor ; working with blocks is finally pretty easy. It took two or three blogposts to get used to it, but now it works fine for us. Purrs

You look very cozy there, Brian! We haven’t switched yet to the Gutenberg editor – we are using the Classic plugin for now. My human has been really busy and hasn’t wanted to switch over until she has time to adjust (if there is actually any adjusting to do). So we will stick with Classic for a few weeks more, at least until tax time and a couple of deadlines are over.

Maybe you could use a bigger cat cup, but sometimes it feels really good to be snuggled in tightly. We can’t help but wonder where Brother Simon would put his tail in that cup:)

Do you sometimes stick out a paw as a thermostat? If i’m tucked up too close, i might overheat, so sticking out one paw (or hand or foot) can be just enough to prevent that.

You look very comfy to us, Brian. At least your whole body isn’t overflowing it, like *somebody* here! MOL!

Sorry to say our mom has scorned the Gutenberg Block Editor from the start, due to the surprise of its appearance with no warning. (She normally uses the HTML screen anyway.) She was contacted by old clients who went nuts with it too. No one she knows was thrilled with it.

Brian, you look cute with that paw(s) dangle and we don’t doubt you are comfy πŸ™‚ yes, we kitties are expert nap-ologists. we had a mostly cloudy weekend that turned into rain today. we are in for a fair few days of rain ahead. we hope you’ll have some good sun puddles to enjoy. purrs,

Lookin’ mighty comfy there my friend – dangling/hanging out and squished up nice and cozy! I like to do that too…..let’s face it, shoving 22 lbs. into a little spot on the cat tree takes some work! As for WordPress – we haven’t changed anything so I guess we’re using the “old way” – new stuff is confusing sometimes…..we haven’t done anything different on my blog even when they mentioned some other kind of editor – we ignored it and plowed our way through like always!

    Hugs, Teddy

You do look comfy. Gotta say as someone who’s not on WP. I’ve looked over Gutenberg and it looks pretty easy. I’d use it but we like to upgrade to new stuff whenever we can which is why we switched to PS CC. Yesterday TW was looking to do something she knew inside out on our old PS but she needed a tutorial to do it on CC but now we learned something for next time.

Sweet Brian when I saw you there in the tree cup I said “Awwww” and you melted part of my heart. You look so comfy and just adorable.

I have been using the Gutenberg Block Editor ever since they sent out a message asking if I wanted to try it. It took some getting used to but I think I am going to like it. So far with trial and error I have managed to do okay with it. Hugs and nose kisses all around from Chancy and me.

You look extremely comfy poured into that kitty cup! It’s cold again here today so I wouldn’t blame you if you stayed warm in there all day! I use WordPress but don’t like their new editor. I’m a holdout until I have no other choice. πŸ™
