Hello gang, it’s Tabby Tuesday so you should have known I’d be here with you. There’s not many places I’d rather be that right here. Okay, okay, maybe there’s a few other places I like to be, like in the cat tree, or cat trees, or on the back of the recliner or on the back of the couch, oh, and on the Dad’s lap. But today I’m right here with you!
I know you might find this hard to believe, but I’ve been called a few things around here. What do I mean? Oh, thinks like crazy cat, silly cat, funny cat, sweet cat, and truth be told, I can be all of those things. Hey, let me ask you this, did y’all ever see the movie The Santa Clause 2? Sometimes that Dad tells me to “focus Chet”, what ever that means.
So, this week I was called something new, a wild boy. I must have been because I took a walk on the wild side. Where was I walking? Well, way up there…

I did, I took a walk on the way up high railing, the wild side. The Mom wasn’t here at the time and the Dad didn’t get a picture. He said he was too busy holding his breath. Hmmmm, it looked like he was breathing pretty rapidly to me. I hopped down in the correct direction so now problem, right? Well, the Dad wasn’t overly happy about my adventure. Maybe I won’t do that again. Maybe I will.
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, see ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
oh it seems you joined our club… the wild side has always cookies…. but be careful when you look for adventures buddy ;O)
That sounds like a fun adventure to me! I like to get on the top of the shower glass in my human’s bathroom. She doesn’t like that either, because it’s a Roman tub, which means, it’s sunken, so the top of the glass is really high up.
Giving our humans heart attacks is fun! ~Bear Cat
You are a WILDMAN! You be careful – it might be fun to “walk the tightrope” but it would HURT if you fell!!
Hugs, Teddy
You mean you haven’t been called SuperCat yet? We think that would be the most appropriate for you, Simon!
Purrs,
The Chans
That sure is the wild side. Maybe they need mattress below there.
WOW, you did a High Wire Act????? Gosh, you are VERY brave
Loves and licky kisses

Oh Simon, you are such a funny boy but that walk on the wild side wasn’t funny. Poor Dad. But some of us would do the same thing. You do keep everyone entertained. You all have a good day and try to stay dry.
Why are we not surprised? You must know about the having 9 lives thing!
OMG – we have a similar loft with open railing and one of our cats at one time we suspect took a leap in the wrong direction – she must have stunned herself and hid under the bed for almost a full day. Bought a gate for new kitties and the jumped over it the first day, what was i thinking LOL So far no gymnastics but I dread the day one tries.
Brother Simon, you sure do keep your dad on his toesies with your wild child antics!
You are a handsome cat too. Love your eyes, but I’m with your dad on this one. Doing something so dangerous it not good for the humans.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Happy Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Simon, you think of your peeps, and don’t do that wild side stuff again!
OMC I would have been terrified to see that!
OH my word Simon I got the dizzies just looking up there. Jumpin’ Catfish!!
No matter what they call you as long as they call you to dinner right?
Hugs Cecilia
Risking death or serious injury can really scare humans but it is so much fun.
Oh Simon, that antic would have given our mom a heart attack! You have to keep in mind one thing when you do stuff like that: who will feed us if mom or dad expire because of it?
We are sure glad you made it down safely from that way up high place…too high! We wouldn’t be able to breathe at all watching you take that walk on the wild side. You stay safe sweet Simon. Hugs and nose kisses
Hey Simon, You should be careful walkin’ ’round that high up. Ya’ know, it’s a myth that we kitties always land on our feet, and I’s fur sure wouldn’t want anythin’ to happen to you. Altho’, I’s seen that look you’re meowin’ ’bout on mommy’s face befur and it is kind’a funny. Stay safe. Big hugs fur all.
Luvs ya’

Looks like you have a daredevil on your hands. That reminded me of something Chris used to do. I managed to get a semi-decent photo once. You can see it on this post: https://badcatchris.com/2012/09/23/chris-takes-the-high-ground/
Just be careful up there.
It’s no wonder you’ve earned so many nicknames, Simon! Our angel cat Katie used to do that at our old house as well. I was holding my breath too. I shouldn’t tell you this….but she did it many times….always with success. 🙂
That looks like fun ! Be careful that your dad doesn’t have to hold his breath for too long though… Purrs
SIMON! Don’t DO that!
dood !!!!!!!!!!! 984 paws UP !!!! noe joke inn teded….frank lee we think dad
iz just gel uz…..may bee next time ewe both can walk on de wild side N
mom can getz sum reel time coverage…how awesum wood THAT be 🙂 ♥♥
Oh gosh, I would’ve been holding my breath too!!!
We would say that makes you a wild AND crazy boy!!! Don’t do that, Simon. We don’t like to think about what could happen:( One time our human sister tried to use a railing like that for a balance beam when she was only three years old. Luckily Mom stopped her before she got both feet up there.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
I bet that was a moment of sheer terror for your Dad!
I know how you like to scare your humans with heights, Simon. Flynn used to do it to me by walking out on the smallest branches on the highest trees he could find.
Wow Simon…you are one brave kitty!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Yikes you are one brave kitty!
Please don’t do that again.
You know, Simon, stairs are there to climb up and down on them, not on the rail. Be careful, pal.
Congratulations on conquering the mountain. I don’t think you need to do it again.
Simon, I’d so jump up there with you! You should have seen TW when I was balancing on top of the door.
Simon, you’re totally freaking out the humans here. We cats, however, think that’s kinda cool!
Don’t do that sort of thing, Simon, it scares the humans!
Charlee: “Wow, Simon, that is way high up. It really was a walk on the wild side! I’m not sure we would want to―”
Chaplin: “Woo-hoo that looks like a blast! I need to get one of those way high up railing things!”
Charlee: “Then again maybe we would.”
