It’s Tabby Tuesday and I’m on the case, the eye watch case that is, and as you can see, I’ve actually got both of my eyes on the Dad. The Dad asked me to tell you that he did fine with his cataract surgery and has a follow up appointment today. I’ve been watching him like a hawk to make sure all is okay. Really though, I’m not watching like a hawk, more like a kitty with a big bunch of curiosity, and I’m quite the curious guy.

We’ll all be back around visiting you just as soon as we can. Since the Dad had one eye fixed up and the other one not fixed yet, his glasses and contacts no longer work like they used to so he’ll have to figure out the reading thing since the far away part works really good, but the close up not so much. He said to tell you all thanks for the tips from the humans who have already been through this, those tips were most helpful.

Other than all of us being on the Dad Watch, not much else has been going on around here. Well, actually I always seem to have a lot going on but the others have been fairly laid back. I’m still on Dad Duty so I’ll catch ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

So happy to hear your Dad did well with the eye surgery….people say it’s like getting brand new eyes after that! You’re doing a great job keeping YOUR eyes on him to make sure he does the right things post-surgery!

    Hugs, Teddy

You just keep and eye on dad. I know you all will. Today the patch comes off and then the realization that you can see so much better. I so remember that.

It won’t be long before the other eye is done and he will be able to get glasses that work, if he even needs them then. Hope you are all having a great Tuesday!

Mom will have to take notes from your Dad’s experience because she will have the same problem!!! We are happy to hear that Dad’s surgery went well. Take good care of him, Brother Simon, and no racing around with the toys at night.

You look concerned and a bit spooked. I didn’t like that patch TW came home with at all. Plus she couldn’t bend down. Tell your dad to put in those eye drops. Sending healing purrz to his eye since he’s not really sick.

Wonderful news about your dad. Tell him to take it easy and not strain his eyes, except to watch you and your brothers & sisters!

Our mom had to get a new pair of reading glasses but they haven’t worked that well. She is looking forward to getting her second surgery at the end of the month.

Mom says my late Great Grandma had that surgery done years ago. So far Mom or Grandma haven’t needed it. You are good to keep an eye on your papa cause his depth purr-ception might be off right now.
