Hello everyone, it’s time once again for our Thankful Thursday Blog and I’m ready to go. It’s hard to believe it’s the last day of February already! Anyways, as you know, each and every Thursday we post about things we are thankful for, and while sometimes things seem difficult with all the sadness in the Blogosphere, we look for the thankfuls. We really do enjoy reading about all of the things you are thankful for too and we get excited when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
Here in the South we’ve had 13 days in a row with rain and cloudy, yucky weather. Then, the sun came out for 3 days in a row. Oh my, the sunpuddles were glorious and we all enjoyed basking in the warmth of the sun. Then it wasn’t. The rains and the clouds are back and there is even supposed to be some Brrrrr Humbug temperatures here next week.
Oh well, I’m super thankful we had some wonderful sunshine for a while, I know it will return and I’ll be thankful when that happens too. As I mentioned in my intro, there’s been a lot of sadness in our Blogosphere lately and I’m very thankful that we can be there to support others in their time of sadness as they’ve been there for us in the past.
What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Gee, clouds and rain, but warm weather? I will take that over the snow and cold we have been getting for the last month and a half. Plus the weather guessers say it will be really cold over the weekend.
It’s been alternating cloudy then sunny then warm then cold. Oh, well, i want the not so hot to last a bit longer.
Right now i am thankful that the mechanic will let us use the loaner vehicle tomorrow so we can get the Land Yacht fixed again.
We hear you, Brian. It’s been pretty gray and yucky here most of the time, but when the sun comes out, we’re even MORE grateful for it. 🙂
we agree… we were thankful for efurry sunny day… and now we wait for the rain the weather guy promised for today…
Oh yeah, thank goodness it’s almost Friday and March! We love spay day and joining the hop xo
I think you might have actually had more snow than us this year for the first time!
Oh, that’s like here – we had some wonderful sun for a few days after so much rain… and now the rain is coming back! Darn.
Mr sunshine is leaving me today as well *sigh* There’s somethingy sooo special about sun puddle surfing isn’t there?
Loves and licky kisses

We got crummy snow. Not thankful for that at our show haha
You must live near us because that’s the exact same weather we had! So many flowers are already blooming and next week is going to be possibly in the teens!
We are thankful for the sunshine too. Our yard is so wet now we can’t walk in it. But we are thankful we can go walk in town, if Miss Tammy feels like walking. And we are thankful for Miss Tammy because Mommy can’t walk two dogs at one time, so we couldn’t walk in town without her.
We’ve had either sunshine or snow, but it makes us happy. Hope March brings you more sun puddles.
Oh no, cloudy and rainy AGAIN? Sorry Brian, it’s that way here too. We’re with you on the thankfuls today, so many folks have been so supportive this month with all the sad news. What a great community we are a part of, I am so thankful for all of them.
We’re thankful that we have that sunshine today, Brian. 🙂
We’ve had “brrrr” weather all winter, minus gazillion temps, more snow than we ever wanted, freezing rain, ice, etc. It’s been a lousy winter, weather-wise! However, we have sunshine (!!!) today, which is GLORIOUS, in spite of the cold. We hope your sunshine will return soon, to stay longer than 3 days. 🙂
It’s rained here a lot too. I live in a desert so it’s all good, but I do miss the sun when it hides for days on end.
Yes there has been a lot of sadness of late, but we’re hoping it’s smooth sailing for a bit.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
WE also have grey skies today after many days of sun and we do miss the beautiful sunpuddles!
You know Brian, yours and my weather is exactly the same. We had 3 days too…and yesterday, we went, well, mom, her DIL and the baby, to the Museum of Appalachia. All the peacocks, lambs, everyone was out in the fields, even a buffalo and we happily walked everywhere in the suns. Now they and we will all have rain starting this cloudy day. We too will have that bah humbug weather starting Monday with possible snow.
Hmmmmmm….. We have only had one day with rain + 2 days with sprinkles in the past 2 weeks…. Obviously you live in a much more desirable place.
We sure hope the rain goes away. We sure enjoyed the sun while it was here. You all have a really good day.
Normally I am a look for the happy sort of person, however it seems lately that has become so hard for me. I know it will take time to get through the things I am facing but I am thankful for my blogland friends and the upbeat love they bring to my life. Thank you to all Dad and Moms sweet kitties. You are all adorable and you bring smiles to my face, thankful for those smiles.
February gone – March is gonna be a pain in the neck – we have snow in the forecast tomorrow and Sunday. Pooey!
I am thankful for the blogosphere, everyone is so supportive especially in times of loss. Thank you for hosting. I hope you get more sun soon. XO
We are totally loving’ your “SUN” post and picture. Ah, just think of it, soon there will be more sunny days ahead! – Love, Tooth Fairies Peaches & Paprika
We are also thankful for sunny weather in the winter, Brian! (Not so much in the hot summer, though.)
I was looking out the window for sun in the exact same way. We had ONE day of sun this week and now it’s snowing again this morning. We’re plummeting into the deep freeze over the weekend with a low on Sunday in the negative range….with more snow. Of course, in a few months, we’ll be complaining how hot it is outside! 🙂 So, maybe we should be thankful for what we have?!
We have had over a week of glorious spring like weather which I am thankful for as we went away for 3 days. Now we are home again the rain has returned!
Believe it or not, we’re happy the record-breaking HOTS are gone here!
The Florida Furkids
Oh boy, that is a lot of rain. We had snow last night and more for Sat and Sunday so I’ll offer up a trade LOL
Oh good buddy do I hear you. At least some of the ground dried up a bit. All this rain and wind is scary when the ground is so wet

Brian, it’s nice that you had a touch of sunshine for awhile, and yes, it will come back again. That’s called looking on the positive side!
our sunshine is in hiding right now too 🙁
I am happy you got some good weather for a while.
We too have had a lot of wetness here. Of course, we love the snow form. Our snow is about gone now, but maybe more this weekend. And yes, the bitter temps are back and will even get worse. But Mom says we have to be thankful that we are almost at March and then Spring. Huh??? We want to keep our snow:)

Hi Bwian! It’s me Dori *wavy paws* I’m thankful because we had a beautiful week with sun puddles on the floor. We live in Elvis’ backyard so our weather has been pretty soggy here. However spring is coming, so … Yay!
Yes, we certainly know how that is! We are thankful for the sunshine we have today, and that it was just warm enough to get out for a walk!
We think that the first two months of this year has gone by so quickly. Hopefully, the sun will be shining more for you soon. Those rainy days can be very lazy times. Thanks for the share. We are thankful for that tomorrow is Friday. Have a great day.
The sun peaked out here today for a few minutes…it was soooo nice!!
We hope your sun comes back soon too!
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Mr Sun will be back. In the meantime we can daydream and look forward to seeing it again!
We know what you mean about the glorious sun puddles the last few days! The only problem is the pollen now! Stay warm this week when the weather turns colder. Mom Paula said to tell your humans that she is going to be in Greenville next week.
Well, Brian, our overnight low for this coming Sunday/Monday night is supposed to be 9°F, and the lows for the next two nights are supposed to be 6° and 7°. Would you like to trade our weather for yours? 🙂
When the sun comes out after resting for a few days her rays are always warmer.
Brian, this is a super adorable photo of you. The weather is crazy pants everywhere, and it is starting to wear on us as well. We are supposed to have a couple of nights in the teens this coming week. At least progress is being made on our house addition, which is our thankful.. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
I sure hope that you get the sun back very soon. The sun puddles are the best. I’m so sorry about the sadness…
We had a sunshiny week too, Brian, to bad Granny couldn’t enjoy it, but we’re thankful that she’s feeling better now 🙂 Pawkisses for Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
Your South almost sounds like our SoCal south. We’ve had lots of rain and clouds, too. It’ll be back again this weekend. But I think we may have more sun breaks than you. Which we’re thankful for as well!
I’d be so thankful to see the sun when the temps are above freezing. If it’s sunny, it means the wind chill is single digits. We’re expecting 4-9 inches of snow between now and Monday.
We were also fankful fur da sun puddles dis week. It are looking gloomy here already today and I fink we are gonna gets more rain buts atleast dat will help all da flowers grow right….
Matilda & Matt
The weather’s been really yucky here too. We can’t wait fur warmer weather days with sun puddles and more. Ya’ll stay warm and dry. Big hugs
Dezi and Raena
Sorry we’re a bit late hopping along this week, hope all is well with mew guys! XOX
Sunshine is great. Glad to see it’s back in March.
