Hello gang, it’s me Zoe and I’m here for my Sister Saturday report. No, I’m not feral, but the Mom says I’m a bit of a wild child sometimes. I’m not sure what she means by that though. Well, I do chase Brother Simon through the house, he runs from me so why wouldn’t I chase him? It’s funny too since he is twice my size, but it’s really fun, even if I do hear Noe Zoe from time to time.
Anyways, sorry, I got sidetracked. We have a wee bit of a feral mystery here, but it’s a mystery in a good way I guess. About 5 months ago two of our long time ferals went missing, gone, completely gone, no sign of them anywhere. That gave Mom and Dad the sads, but a feral life is a tough one and we know that sadly it happens. We just try to make the ones that remain as happy as we can with fresh food, shelter and water. Winter was darn cold but we could tell they appreciated the food and warm shelters.
Then, two weeks ago one of the missing ferals showed up in the middle of the night, we saw her on our feral cam the next morning. Dang girl, where ya been? Then she came back for food, again and again. Then, just this past Monday another of the missing ones showed up. She too has been here a couple of times to eat. It sure is a mystery and they are not telling us where they were, but that’s okay, we’re just happy to see they are okay and still around.
So, they you have it, the feral mystery for the week. Have a fun Saturday and fabulous weekend everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Those feral kitties can be very mysterious – you think you’ve lost them, and then they come back. I’m glad yours are returning.
So glad the ferals came back. Bet they were so glad to see some good food. You all have great day.
Sure make for a mystery indeed, but good that they are back around.
I’m glad they decided to come back. Feral or not, we felines sure are the mysterious ones, aren’t we?
Zoe, just tell your mum that chasing Simon is part of your exercise regimen 😉
We are happy to hear the ferals came back.Maybe they were checking out other places and decided yours was the best!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
Maybe they are “snowbirds” and head south for the winter. Glad to hear they are back!
We’re with Laila & Minchie … don’t worry, they were smart kitties traveling south for the winter …
OMCs the ferals were frolicking about town.
Hugs Cecilia
We’re so glad this mystery is a happy one! You animals never tell your secrets! 🙂
They may have found an exciting adventure in another part of the world. Being feral can get boring.
I know it must be wonderful seeing a “familiar feral face” after they’ve disappeared for a while. We miss our porch visitors too when they haven’t visited us – we worry about them!
Hugs, Teddy
So happy to learn the feral are back; perhaps they took a vacation 🙂 or, found a place that was serving fresh seafood.
We are glad your Ferals are back home.
Dang! Those ferals are cheating on you. I bet they’re hanging with that guy who won that yuge lottery.
Que bom que eles apareceram.
I love it when they show back up. Makes us smile too. We worry about all the kitties that are feral.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Good news! Ferals are a mystery that’s for sure. You are lovely today Zoe, your expression is so sincere while you tell your story – glad to NOT see any green sweaters for a good long time – Enjoy your weekend!
Sounds as if they found a warm place to stay for the winter…maybe they went to Florida. MOL! Mom says that she knows how thrilled you are to know they are okay. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
That is good news. We were feeding a mom and her kittens when the all disappeared. A while later the mom appeared without the kittens and then disappeared again. Month’s later one of the kittens appeared and then disappeared again. I feel good knowing that the are probably okay but I wonder where they are living and if the other kitten is okay.
Oh, this news made us happy too, Zoe. I don’t know if there are other houses around in your environment, but I have a slight feeling that they had dinner somewhere else…at least that’s what we hope *crosses paws*. You look very sweet today, Zoe💜Pawkisses for a Happy Caturday to all of you🐾😽💞
Hey Zoe, that is happy news. Keep chasing Simon because exercise is good and maybe he’s having as much fun as you are.
I am glad those ferals have come back. It is always upsetting when one suddenly disappears.
One of life’s little mysteries. I’m glad they returned.
I’m so glad they’re back and safe! If only they could talk…
Ferals will do that, make you sad by disappearing and then show up again. They are probably trying to keep us on our toes.
Well, that sure is a mystery. We hope they come together next time and then keep coming every day. Good luck.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That is good news.
I am so touched that mom and dad keep the ferals fed and warm. They are good people. I put out a plastic container with a styrofoam container in it and a door cut there for the feral cat that lives around here but since I was not here through the winter months I was not feeding. I saw Trixie (my name for he/she/whatever) the first day we got home but I have not seen her since. But with all the barking dogs here at the house might keep her away these days. I know that she has others that… Read more »
Maybe they we south for the winter
Wow, that’s a good kind of mystery, Zoe. We are glad those feras came back!
Well, girls just want to have some fun sometimes, right Sister Zoe? Purrs and hugs!
We are glad they are back. Mebbe they found a garage for the Winter…
oh thank COD they are ok!! That IS one heck of a mystery!
When Feral Sammy went missing, I walked up and down, up and down, up and down the block, calling him. He showed up about 4 days later, and we think he may have gotten locked in a garage over a holiday weekend. When Hobo stopped showing up for meals, I walked round and round and round, every day, looking for him. After a while, I even chatted up some neighbors, until I found one who told me that Hobo has been living in his yard! The Hubby wasn’t happy with me poking my nose around, but I loved Hobo with… Read more »

Maybe they found a warm place to hide out in but now it’s warmer outside they are going further afield. I bet they are happy to get the food and survive the winter.
