Hello everyone, it’s Mancat Monday and we’re starting out the month of March. Dang, February sure took off like a shot, but I’ll blame that on the goofy groundhog. But March is here whether we’re ready for it or not. I’ll just have to keep a lookout for things that might be sneaking up on me.
Actually, there was quite the ruckus going on behind me, which is why you see me glancing over my shoulder. You might have guessed it, yes, the name of that Ruckus was Brother Simon. I don’t know what he was up to but there was quite the crash-bang behind me. Some of the others scattered, but I’m just taking the wait-and-see approach. I’m pretty comfy here so I’m not moving unless it’s totally necessary.
Oh, speaking of totally necessary, on Wednesday I have to go for another follow-up with my Dental Vet to make sure I’m totally healed up from my dental extractions months ago. You might recall, I had one spot that wasn’t completely healed. The Dad said this trip is totally necessary, not me. Wish me luck!
March means Spring is coming, eventually, and that also means that prime flea season will be upon us soon. Yes, we’re inside kitties, but the Mom and Dad go outside and the Dad feeds our ferals. That means that those pesky buggers can hitch a ride inside. Did you know that Sister Zoe is severely allergic to flea bites? She sure is, so regular flea treatments are a must not only for her but for all of us. Hey, Chewy is having a sale this week on Frontline products.
That’s it for me today, have a fun day Monday everyone. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we hope march brings only good things and we wish you all da bestest luck for your dental day …
You look rather disapproving of whatever it was that Simon did. I hope your dental check up goes well.
I once had a black cat called Desmond who was also allergic to fleas, so we had to be very careful to make sure all the cats were treated regularly and on time even though we had never seen fleas on any of them. The slightest hint of a flea and he would start to lose his fur over most of his body.
I hope your dentist visit goes well!
Simn keeps everyone entertained. Wishing you well. Brian for your dental visit. We have our paws crossed for you. Have a good Monday.
Hope your dental appointment goes well. Mouth trouble is not a good thing.
You’re so right about fleas hitching rides on people. You have to be extra careful when petting or caring for outdoor pets. I hope your dental followup goes well. Purrsonally, I’m like you and think it’s totally not necessary to go. 🙂
Hopefully the visit goes well and no need to move due to old Ruckus. Turns out one of us is super allergic to fleas too. Ugg.
That look you’re showing tickles mom!
We hope you get a good report from the vet this week, Brian.
I have my paws crossed fur your dental check on Wednesday, hope all goes well fur you
Oh, and would it be okay fur me to come over and join in the ruckus ‘cos it sounds just the sorta thingy I’d enjoy, hehe
Loves and licky kisses

Oh no, a crash-bang. I’m sure the peeps are all over that. I hope nothing terrible was destroyed.
Yes you need to go to the vet when you’re supposed to. It’s for your own good. I’m with your peeps on this one.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a wonderful Mancat and Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥
You are such a calm manly mancat today Brian! Thanks for the reminder of flea season – those pesky things are awful. Frontline works well and a discount is always welcome.
Always I send you hugs and good wishes Brian….I’ll add to them on Wednesday.
OMCs kid brudders and things that go bang…I agree stay where you are out of the line of whatever is crashing
Hugs Cecilia
I hope your vet visit goes well. XO
Yep, as soon as I saw the word ruckus, Brother Simon came immediately to mind! MOL!
Best to keep your options open, Brian…in case Simon decides to jump on your head!
Chaos and Simon seem to go together 😉 MOL!
WE wish you luck when you go for your dental check-up and purr for a good report!
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We hope Brother Simon will let us in on what the Ruckus was all about:) We get flea protection year round, and Mom is very thankful that it works so well!!! We hope the same holds true for all of you.

I wish everything goes well with your dental visit, purrs mucho on that. And also we hope we all get that missing sunpuddle.
Amarula and Frodo (who both just had dental visits) are definitely sending you positive vibes-hope all goes well Wed!
Good luck with your follow-up dental appointment, Brian, and yes, you’d better keep one eye at least on that crazy Simon. Who knows what he could be up to! 🙂
Simon isn’t the only one causing a ruckus. March is creating a ruckus around here dumping a half foot of snow. Good wishes on your dental followup.
Brian, I like your laid-back approach. Paws crossed that your dental checkup goes well.
Paws crossed for ur dental check up Brian !
We are waiting for spring to come here, way too much snow on the ground and cold in the air.
Good luck at the vet! Hope this is completely behind you soon. That’s such a cute look on your face!
Brian, good luck with your dental checkup. I hope everything is completely healed up.
Everybody here, except our parents, is getting flea meds all year round, either as a three-month pill or a topical treatment.
By the way, what did your brother knock down this time?
Paws crossed that after this vet visit, everything looks good and you don’t have to go back to the vet for a good, long while, Brian!
Fleas are the worst! Good luck at the vet, Brian.
Good luck on your dental visit! As far as Brother Simon is concerned, I always thought you were a cat who knew how to keep his cool! – Tom x
Your mancat is so handsome! Have an awwwsome day!
Prayers that your checkup goes well and you can rest without looking over your shoulder

You remind me of how i used to react when i would hear a crash or other noise from the children. Instead of jumping up right away to see what was up, i’d wait a bit, unless i heard something break or someone started crying in pain. No need to waste time and energy investigating if it’s not a big deal.
Hey Brian, nice to hear you take things easy and nothing fazes you. Gosh, in our house when there’s a ruckus, all of us have to go investigate, causing a secondary ruckus which may lead to water bowls being knocked over caused by the scattering of my crazy housemates. Your wait and see approach is the wise thing to do.
I hope your dental work goes well.
I enjoy stopping over and catching up. Hope that dental check up goes well. Isn’t it great to have a caring human take extra care of such a handsome ManCat? Enjoy the week!
That’s a good reminder, Brian. It’s still below zero to the point of, “What!” here but that will change soon. Or maybe it never will. Good point about the ferals and critters hitching rides. I must say you are a very cool cat among all that ruckus.
I wonder what that’s all about what’s going on behind your back, Brian. Crossing my paws for you on Wednesday and hope for no more fleas on everyone especially when you’re allergic to it. Extra Pawkisses for today..yikes🐾😽💞
I have a different name for that goofy groundhog! There’s a lot of people looking for him this year. If he’s smart, he’ll stay in his den until June. I’m thinking good thoughts about your healing and hope it’s going well. No one, for sure, wants fleas so be a good kitty and do whatever it takes to avoid those little buggers. Hope your week is going well.
You be lookin’ gawjus as always Brian. We have to treat fur fleas ’round here too. One of the few things we hate ’bout the South. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
“Ruckus” seems to be Brother Simon’s middle name. 🙂
