Hello gang, it’s time for us to do our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and believe it or not I’m ready, of course I am! As you know, each and every Thursday we post about things we are thankful for, and we always look forward to reading about all of the things you are thankful for too. We do get excited when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
Today I’m thankful for TBN, The Bird Network, and the regular series of Bird-TV which is live and on location right outside of my front window. There is a tall bush right outside of the window and in that bush, way back towards the center, is a young family of birds that appear to be preparing for nest building, already. I thought it was a bit early but they don’t seem to think so.
The tall bush is a much better option. Last year the bird family picked a place that really wasn’t the best. Seriously. The Mom had a nice green wreath on the front door and last year the Bird Family decided to build a nest in the wreath. That wasn’t a good idea and the Mom didn’t think so either. We had to insist that they relocate. We told them it was a local zoning thing and they seemed to understand.
So, it looks like I’ll be enjoying Bird-TV for a while yet, and I’m most thankful for that. What are you thankful for today? Tell me in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Your Bird-TV sounds great! A lady i knew had a bird build a nest in the wreath on her front door, and every time she opened the door, the silly mama bird would fly in the house and they would chase her until she flew out again. It was rather exhausting.
* giggles * Well that IS an action shot Brian! Enjoy bird TV as Spring arrives.
How in the world are you keeping yourself perched like that?!
Brian, we’re not sure that exactly looks comfy, but we’re glad it gives you a prime view of of Bird TV!
You get in position to watch them anyway you can!
That wreath was a strange choice for a nest! I hope they choose better this year!
TBN is the best! Too bad more humans don’t seem to appreciate it!…. BTW, has Katsu been giving you photo advice? He’d taken far too many selfied which look like that.
Before I forget, Brian, thank you for hosting this very fun blog hop … now, back to TBN!
bird tv is great… and we love how you watch the newest epwasode… ist that comfy? sure, right?
What a pawsome place to watch Bird TV!
Looks like you are at the exciting part! MOL!

Now that’s a great “STRETCH” to see out the window. We do what we have to in order to get the best bird TV reception right ? Thanks for hosting the HOP!
Hugs, Teddy
Great that they smartened up and picked a better spot. Now you can enjoy it all day long.
the birdies are busy building nests at our house too!
Brian, that is one great way to watch the birds, Brian. Such a good view. You all have a great day.
My kitties love bird TV too. We don’t have any living where we can watch, but they come by the windows often.
Ohhhh yay for TBN…this time of year for sure there will be no reruns all new shows
Hugs Cecilia
WE enjoy TBN too. WE think you need to ask the humans to move the couch closer to the window.
That story about the wreath is funny 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
Our Little Bit loved bird TV, Squirrel TV, and any other kind of critter TV. We get the draw.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect day watching bird TV. My best to your peeps. ♥
That’s a funny and cute image, Brian! TBN is putting on a great show, to have you enraptured so!
Sometimes those birds pick the oddest places for their nests. But it is a lot of fun to watch the babies hatch and grow.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
What a wonderful balancing act in order to see TBN better!
xoxo,

PeeEss…All the words to our TT post got eaten last night, but Mama has updated it this morning(PST). Thanks so much for hosting such a pawesome Blog Hop!
My neighbor had a bird’s nest in their door wreath. It was a door they never use, so it was OK. The peep hole was in the middle of the wreath, so we could get up on a chair in the inside, and look right into the nest.
Excellent Bird TV for the humans.
Happy viewing, Brian!
xxoo
Our Lucy love the Bird Channel also, but sometimes she changes the channel to the Squirrel Channel!
BTN is the best, isn’t it? 🙂 How exciting the bird family is preparing for the nest! And glad this family picked a good spot for it. Enjoy the TV, Brian 🙂
Bird TV how fun! Here it’s birds and squirrels and boy do our tails twitch when we see them.
Happy Thankful Thursday. The Bird Network looks like they have a faithful watcher in you. You will not miss a moment while it’s happening. That nest is going to be close to your house. Better be prepared. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.
Live Bird TV is just the best, isn’t it? We’re trying to add our link to the blog hop but it’s not going through. (It’s probably mom’s job)
MOL…Can I come to binge watching birdies with you, Brian 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday🐾😽💞
Birds can be very funny about where they decide to build their nests. Our wreath was a favorite place too but after the mama bird flew in our house, we evicted them too.
Enjoy your Bird TV, Brian. Maybe they will ask you to be Godfather when the babies are born.
Oh Brian, unless there was a lot of droppings, my mom would have been spineless and let them stay. But droppings…well, that would be the decider for her.
Ah, Brian, I love the way you write! Bird-TV is getting good reception at our house and Bridget has tuned in on the window sill a few times…until Cabo goes outside and scares them off!
Must be a thrilling episode you’re watching. It has that edge of your seat look to it.
“local zoning” MOL. TBN is “must see TV” at our house too!
Sometimes the birds make their nests in the craziest places!! I can never understand when they’ve done that right outside the doors, where everyone goes in and out constantly. Enjoy the show!!
Now that is quite the unique way to watch TBN. We are thankful today that our living room slider got to be open all the way!
Enjoy your shows! (What a pose! MOL)
Be careful, you look like you could fall any minute now. MOL Have fun watchin’ bird teevee. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
We are most impressed with your TBN watching perch, Brian! We loved the birds-in-the-wreath story, too. Silly things!
We would love to join you watching bird t.v. It sounds riveting! 🙂
We are thankful to have you as our pals. All of you, as well as your pawrents ! XO
the critters in the cottage xo
The Bird Network… lol That’s funny.
That is some balancing act you have going there, Brian. Bird TV is one of our favorite things. Our thankful is having Sawyer going nine days without a grand mal seizure. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
That looks like a precarious perch, Brian!
HAH! I’d be thankful to see the other end of you. I understand though since you’re busy. Can I bring you a snack?
Once our mom had a hanging plant in front of her house and a bird built a nest in it, Mommy had to be careful when she watered.
We got the robin channel today on our bird TV. Haven’t seen them in months! So happy they are back.
I am grateful for the good sense of humor possessed by so many of our blogging community! It keeps us entertained! Wishing everyone at Brian’s Home a truly wonderful weekend!
Nothing better than free entertainment! LOL
Sounds like a perfect spot for viewing this spring – lucky you!
That sounds like a great channel to binge-watch! We had hundreds of butterflies flying past this week and that made for some good TV as well!
So many channels on your Bird-TV, that’s great ! Enjoy ! You look ready to jump in the show, MOL ! Purrs
