Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: The Dentist Made Me Smile

thankful thursday brian 03072019

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog, I’m ready, how about you? As you know, each and every Thursday we post about things we are thankful for, and today I have something really good to share with you. We really do enjoy reading about all of the things you are thankful for too and we get super excited when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!

Most of you know that 6 months ago, way back in October, I went for a dental visit and ended up having half of my teeth removed. While I was mostly healed up, I had a sore spot that wasn’t healing because one of my remaining upper teeth was poking a vacant spot on the bottom where a tooth used to live. Our specialty Dentist didn’t want me to have another surgery too soon so she gave the Dad a medicine for him to squirt on the sore spot twice each day. Let me just say it wasn’t overly yummy. I’ve been back for multiple checkups since then and each time the sore spot was a bit better, but not healed.

Yesterday morning that Dad stuffed me in the Prisoner Transport Unit and hauled me back to see my specialty Dentist. The verdict? I am all healed up!!! Her non-invasive plan worked and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t have to go back again until it’s time for my annual dental checkup. I’m most thankful that we have a super special Dentist who refused to release me from the surgery until I was completely healed up. Happy Dance!!!

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Would you recommend your “super special dentist” to us (us being the human here) … methinks me could use
some of your “squirty stuff” for our sore spots!!!
So glad you are healed up now. Sad to say we don’t much like dentally stuff, not much at all … too hurty.

What great news. It seems awful enough to have only half your teeth. Hopefully you will keep the half you still have.

Brian, you travel in a Prisoner Transport Unit ?!?!?!? Oh meow is me, What is wrong with your chauffeur?!? Don’t they realize you should ride shotgun?!?! I love, love, love road trips, though do admit that I prefer the ones going to the beach to the ones to the white coats.

YAY…I am so happy for you that all is healed and you have been released! One of moms dogs, Cheyenne had to go to the vet and have her teeth cleaned. She had five pulled but NO issues, thank goodness. So I guess that is something I am thankful for. Dakota goes next. I am sure he will have to have some pulled also. Keep up this rate and I am going to purchase doggie insurance! But it is a must needed deal for these doggies. Congrats on your amazing news!
