Hello everyone, it’s Mancat Monday and I’m here to tell you I’m putting my paw down. Well, it’s actually out, but it’s a little bit down too. Let’s not confuse it with down and out because that’s certainly not the case. I did have a pretty full case of Naptus Interruptus though, a darn serious one at that.
You see, there I was minding my own business, all sacked out on the big bed, when it happened. I got rousted from my slumber because some peep decided it was time to change the bed. Hey, there’s really no need to change the bed, I like it just like it is. But, once I was rousted, the big bed got stripped down naked and was forced into a new outfit.
So, I’m parked on the ottoman waiting for the big bed to give me a shout when it’s ready for me once again. I know, I have a couple of nice new beds of my own, but I’m really in the mood for a big bed snooze. I think it’s going to be one of those snoozy weeks in our neck of the woods and I’ll be darn proud to lead the way.
How’s your week look? I hope it’s a fantastic one!!! See y’all soon and Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
aaah we know that feeling… they damage our bestest dreams with ching the bedding at the wrong tim…sigh…
haha sure hate when that happens. But then we try and help change it sometimes, makes the process take longer.
Yeah… That kind of thing happens here too. Unforgivable, really!
Purrs,
The Chans
We hate it when the bed gets changed and we all have to move. But believe me we jump back up very quickly. Hope all of you have a really good Monday.
WHAT?!?!? How dare they DISTURB you nap….and after you’ve just got the bed smelling just right they go and ruin all your hard work by changing the sheets???? Will peeps never learn????
Loves and licky kisses

I had to shut myself in the bedroom for changing the bed otherwise I ended up with one lump under the sheet and one on top.
Our cats love having the bed changed because they like to play in the sheets when Mom tries to get them on the bed.
Carry keeps leaving her clothes in my spot on the bed. So I sleep on them and then she complains that her clothes are covered in hair. It’s not like I don’t sleep there all day everyday. It’s not my fault she leaves clothes there!

Once again a purrfect titled. Some peep surely momentarily lost all sense of priorities when the rousted you.
Hugs Cecilia
I hate when the mom gets me off the bed to make it. Like what the heck?? I hope you helped her, Brian. ~Ernie
Brian, old buddy, I dunno about how the week looks right now. I’ll have a better idea when Monday’s behind me and gone!!
I can understand a big bed snooze preference completely. There’s something about being stretched out and totally comfy! – Tom x
I’m a lucky girl, Brian, Granny always waits until I’m ready with my naptus…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Week ahead🐾😽💞
I do believe that our Moms and Dads should plan things like bed-changing, housecleaning, etc. around OUR nap schedules…..of course that would only give them about 15 minutes a day to do everything since we’re asleep the rest of the time!!! (haha).
Hugs, Teddy
We always try to help Mom with the bed changing… lot more fun that way. Actually I thought Mom had invented a new game called dash under the covers and grab a hand!
Brian,
Of all the nerve! That’s just horrible mews!! There this little device that rousts me out of bed every morning precisely the same time each day and it’s the most annoying thing ever. I’d smash it to bug bites but then I’d be out a pretty penny and I’m pretty sure DH would be sore with me, as well I would be mad at me, too. I’d be lost without this multi-purpose gizmo called a smartphone. 🙂
I’m lucky in that my mom will wait until I get off the big bed to change it or make it. So sorry you had to be disturbed, Brother Brian.
Laila
Humans can be so thoughtless when we are trying to get our naps in.
Peeps can be ever so inconsiderate. Really they can. Haven’t they learned that cats are in charge? You need to remind them.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your peeps. ♥
You do looks quite miffed in your photo, Brian. You need to train your help better, Mom won’t even disturb us (usually Calista Jo) to make the bed. What is happening with the abandoned kitties? Was Angels of Assisi any help? XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
dood…..we dunno, that ree clinerz chair bee hind ewe lookz my tee awesum…ya shuld givez it a try !
☺☺♥♥
Whoa! How rude. My peeps wait till I’m up to change the bed even if they have to change it in the middle of the night. I have them trained. I also bite.
Handsome Brian, I am so impressed that you didn’t ‘help’ make up that bed, and you politely sat on the ottoman waiting until it was made. Do you have a training program I can purchase to teach the Catscue cats how to do that? MOL!
They really don’t need to change bed when you are using it. But the new sheets must feel very nice 🙂 I hope you all enjoy your snoozy week!
Brian, your peeps obviously don’t know who is in charge around there!
Oh you really look annoyed. lol
I’m surprised the bed didn’t wait until you weren’t using it to get changed. But fresh sheets are always fun. Enjoy your snoozy week.
Oh I know…..but LILY seems to make anything and everything A BED. She seems to get comfy on each and every one also. Where the dogs wiggle around on one bed, like I said, Lily trys them all, from mine, the couch, the sink, the floor, the cat tree…..shall I go on cause as a cat I know you know what I am getting at!!
Sometimes you just have to sleep in the big bed….I always take my after breakfast nap in the big bed and Mama always picks the same time to “make the bed”..sheesh!
xoxo,
Arty
Completely understandable. Be sure NOT to snuggle down in the warm, soft bedding in the floor or you might find yourself plopped in the washer!! 🙂
That happens here too, and we hate having our nap interrupted. But after that we help with the sheets, it’s so much fun ! Purrs
that used to upset Mom’s Angel Bobo too, believe it or not, I NEVER sleep in the big bed, I am allowed to of course, I just don’t. Love, Cody
Sometimes you just need that extra space to stretch way out! Our week ahead looks snoozy too. Rain and sleet today, maybe snow on Wednesday, and chilly all week. Old Man Winter is being stubborn about leaving, and we’d just as soon hide our heads under the pillows until he leaves. 🙂
We don’t get to sleep on the big bed upstairs, but we understand your dilemma – the same thing happens here when the Momster decides to wash all our blankets and Wash ‘n Zip beds – sheesh, how we hate waiting.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
The humans can be SO rude and inconsiderate sometimes!!!
I hates it when dat happens buts then I always snuggle up on da comforter while da sheets are washing…MOL 😉 It are a bit rainy here today and tomorrow so we will be doing lots of snoozing!
xoxo,
Matilda (& Matt)
You should have refused to move 🙂
Yikes!!
We purr you did not have to wait long after being rudely interrupted 😮
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
That bed is always ready for all of us.
At my house, everyone gets on the bed while it is being made, not off. 🙂
Why do people always want to change the bed? It is perfect the way it is.
Boodie got the rousting schtick this weekend too.
There’s nothing like a real bed, Brian!
Yep, those bed changes just disrupt everything. Hope you get back to napping soon!
There time when one needs to draw a line or put down there foot, in your case a paw.
Coffee is on
I only hang out in the sleepy spot when mum is actually in it. Then I like to cuddle and sleep with mum.
Big beds are the best, aren’t they?
Sometimes it can be annoying when you are all comfortable to be disturbed, but at least now you have some fresh clean sheets now to relax on. Thanks for the share. have a great day.
People do like to monopolize those big beds. 🙂
Our week will be very different from the usual sort of week. Ron has the first of his cataract surgeries tomorrow (the second one next week).
