Hello there gang, thanks for coming by for our Thankful Thursday Blog. As you all likely know by now, each and every Thursday we post about things we are thankful for, and we always have something to be thankful for each and every day. We really do enjoy reading about the things you are thankful for and we get super thrilled when we see new blogger pals hopping in to join us!
Today I’m most thankful that the alien abduction is over, or at least I think it is. Last Saturday Sister Zoe told you about 2 of our wayward ferals that had gone missing 5 months ago. Those 2 recently returned. What Sister Zoe didn’t tell you was the rest of the story. For those of you new to our blog, we routinely cared for 11 ferals who were here on a regular basis. Five months ago all but 2 disappeared, yes, 9 were missing. That was a pretty devastating mystery. I’m convinced it was an alien abduction.
Well, Sister Zoe was right, 2 of our missing ferals returned and have been back on a pretty regular basis. Then, in the past few days, the other missing 7 showed up pretty much at the same time, all here for their evening meal, and most of them were at the crowded feeding station at the same time. Well, 6 regulars plus one new, and quite good looking black cat with golden eyes. Did the aliens return them? If they did, I’m sure thankful that the abduction is over. Heck, no matter what happened, we’re all thankful to see them once again. Well take it, gladly.

What an odd happening! May they stay put now.
We are thankful the temperatures are still low enough that we don’t need the A/C. We hope it stays that way a good bit longer, too.
I am thankful also that your feral friends have returned. No having to worry about them and apparently they are well and have been fed somewhere else. Glad that the abduction is over also…..so maybe the aliens will not be taking off with any….non feral babes.
Gosh! Aliens! And thy returned them!?!? Do they have antenna? We have a moldy oldies TV station that plays My Favorite Martian…purrhaps they have antenna that come out of their heads now!

That is good news that they have all returned. Even if they were being fed elsewhere, it is strange that they never came back during that time. You are right, it must have been aliens!
How cool that the cats came back and brought a friend.
Maybe that was the purpose of the abduction 😉

Wow. If it was aliens I’m glad they returned them. I wonder if the kitties know that time has passed, or if on the alien land it seemed like no time at all.
That is wonderful news, but is sure is odd they were all gone for so long and suddenly are back. I wonder where they went?

What a strange situation! That said, it is purrfectly easy to understand why aliens would abduct us kitties…. I just can’t understand why they were allowed to return.

That is incredibly odd. I’m glad that they’ve been returned but watch out for those aliens who abduct cats!

Aliens probably got scared of the kitties and sent them back.
We are glad the aliens returned them…we can imagine how scary that must have been…hopefully the kitties will stay close from now on!

Phew, that’s excellent mews to hear the aliens returned the missing feral kitties. I hope they appear healthy and unharmed. I’ve heard horror stories of aliens experimenting on humans. This is truly something to be thankful for!
Great news and something to be thankful about. Maybe our ferals will return too although we suspect one of the neighbors killed them. About 7-10 went missing right after he lost his case in court and they ruled UCFCC could continue feeding them.
I’m glad to hear they’re back. I wonder where they’ve been. Maybe someone else was feeding them too.

Oh my word…missing for five months?!? I would have been insane with concern, so it’s terrific that they’ve come back. Now, I’d start thinking about why they left…just because I always have to worry about something!
Or…maybe your ferals were abducted by a catch, neuter, release program?

So glad you they have returned. We also feed a feral/street kitties – well the neighborhood does – and it feels so good for the humans to do this.

Goodness we got here late but are so thankful the ferals have returned and are alright. We are thankful for our loving home and Rumpy Bump has taken up the mantle for our Thankful.
