Hello gang, it’s Tabby Tuesday and I’m way up here at the top of the steps where it’s safe. Oh, I almost forgot…the Dad and Mom asked me to tell you they said thanks for all of the Happy Anniversary wishes, they appreciated each and every one. Now then, I’m up here where it’s safe and I plan on staying up here for a while.
Why do I need to be safe? Well, most of you probably heard by now, I was asleep on the ottoman and it moved and threw me off onto the ground. Okay, okay, maybe I did roll off and maybe it was onto the carpet and not the ground, but it still wasn’t very nice. Then, the others are still giggling at me. Actually I think they’ve forgotten about it, which is a good thing.
At least from way up here I can see the ottoman way down there in the living room, just in case it tries anything funny. I can really see lots from up here but rumor has it I make the peeps a bit nervous when I jump up and walk on the high railing. They seem to think I’m a bit of a klutz or something. Let’s just say I have been know to not be very coordinated MOL!
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, I’ll see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
haha you sure look to have your eyes firmly on it.
That was not very nice of the ottoman to throw you to the ground! Good job you are keeping an eye on it, you never know what it will try next.
Gotta watch that ottoman just in cast it tries some other tricks. You need to teach it a lesson, Simon. Hope all of you have a grand day.
I fell out of bed at night many times as a young pup. It was scary.
Maybe you had a bad dream and fell off LOL Stay safe Simon
such jumpy would cause some nervousity here too… and a balance purr-formance on da railing would probably lead to some people in sos-mode… be careful buddy simon ;O)
Simon, we woulda laughed too if we saw you fall off the ottoman. π
Simon says play safe…I agree those ottomans are sneaky kinda like door frames around here they jump out at me a lot.
Thank you for your kind comments on my quilt. I’m working on #2
Hugs Cecilia
Best stay off the rails handsome, just concentrate on that tricky ottoman – MOL!
Playing it safe is a good thing. Just don’t fall from way up there. Your peeps worry about you and so do I.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your peeps. β₯
Ottomans are very sneaky, we have had some encounters with them.
adopt cats π Simon is very photogenic
Simon, we’ve all had encounters with tricky furniture! Stay safe!
Are you waiting for one of your siblings to take a spill off your ottoman, Simon?
If mom were your mom, she would be very concerned with your walking on that railing. Simon, how about listening to your mom and dad and don’t do that.
Those Otto-Man are crafty and slick so keep a wary eye out Simon. We think your top of the stair spot is good for keeping watch
We think that’s a good idea to have a good view of the ottoman down below. Sometimes you can trust an ottoman even when your just trying to have a nap on it. Thanks for the share. Have a great rest of your day. Your ottoman watch has begun.
Simon, we know that you like to have fun, but please be careful!
That ottoman is just MEAN!
You certainly wisened up there sweetie.
Simon, absolutely NO high railing walking, PLEASE!!! That would make all of us very nervous too.

Whoa! Be careful you don’t roll down the stairs. That won’t be pleasant even if you land on the rug.
We didn’t know about the ottoman but we’re glad you’re keeping an eye on it!

I think the further you keep away for the ottoman the better.
Well, falling off the ottoman definitely qualifies you as uncoordinated, Simon! MOL. Who ever said cats were graceful? We had plenty of klutzy ones. π
That would make me nervous too if you’ve already fallen off the ottoman! Be careful!!!
Those ottomans are tricky. π
Gee! Ya gotta watch out for those quirky ottomans Simon π

Some furniture is just not to be trusted. Sleep on the couch instead, itβs bigger and canβt move out from under you as fast as an ottoman can.
Even though the ottoman threw you for a loop, I think it’s probably as much safer place than the high railing. Maybe you should give the ottoman another try.
Hey Simon, purrlease be careful. I’s a bit uncoordinated too. Least that’s what mommy and sis Dezi say. I’s say it’s not mine’s fault. Ya’ know, like you do. Have fun. Big hugs

Those ottomans will do that. You really have to watch them carefully, Simon!
Simon, TBT asked us to reply to you rolling off the ottoman by mentioning something he witnessed that LC did Before We Were Here.
LC was sleeping on the edge of the deck. As the sunpuddle moved slightly, she turned over to stay in it. And fell OFF THE DECK entirely. 8′ to the ground below! Naturally, she was surprised. Naturally, she landed on all 4 paws and came back up on the deck. She sat and glared at the spot! And she never napped at that exact spot again…
That was tricky from the ottoman ! Good job watching it just in case… Purrs
