Hello everyone, it’s time once again for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and as always, I am thankful to each of you for being here with us. We always have something be thankful for, always, and we share those things each and every Thursday. We really do enjoy reading about all of the things you are thankful for too. Well, today I think steamed is a good thing and we’re thankful for it. What in the world do I mean and is the Dad really steamed. Sort of, maybe I should say the Dad is steaming, because he is, he is steaming our hardwood floors. Yes, he has some sort of thing that he gives a great big drink of water too and then he takes it for a walk in the kitchen, down the hall, into the little bathroom and into the laundry/litter room. Let me tell you, that thing hisses like a really peeved kitty cat!
Can you believe it, the Dad says he has to keep the hardwood floors clean because they we get them a bit messy from time to time. Oh okay, I guess I believe that too. Hey, I must admit that the nice clean floors really do feel good on the paw pads and we’re all thankful for that. Keep on steaming Dad, it’s actually okay with all of us!

Freshly steam cleaned floors is a great thing for which to be thankful. My thankful is that someone else took the trash out tonight.
Oh! That sounds…interesting! Mom says there is one in Midway…Maybe I’ll get to see it in action when we visit.

Um, could yer dad come over here ta get steamed? TBT does a lot of things pretty good, but floor-steaming isn’t one of them.
That steaming thing sounds pretty hissy, Brian. But if the floors feel nice afterwards, good job by your Dad!

We don’t have hardwood floors. I always thought you’d use a mop to clean them. I never heard of steaming hardwood floors. Does this do a better job than a mop & bucket? You have me curious. I hope in our next house we have hardwood floors, so do let me know, ‘kay? Have a terrific Thursday!

Meow-meow, when I heard steamed, I though you might have one of those sauna things Kosmo’s pop uses in Finland, but that thing for the floors sounds interesting – scary and angry, but interesting… With 5 chicks who are prone to accidents and incapable of learning to use a litter box, I might need to look into getting my housekeeper something like that.
We need to get steamed too!!!!! That’s great. Your floors must look wonderful!

Hey Brian, I have a hissing water-drinking mop too! Does your dad use any cleaner on the floors or just the hissy stuff??
That is a really good thankful Brian. Our pawrents work hard to keep our homes clean and that is more so when there are a few of us. We join in this thankful with all of our clean paws

i didn’t know you could steam hardwood floors-i thought water was bad for them–this is a revelation as I pretty much have hardwood floors everywhere! Yeah! I am gonna get steamed too

Yeah, that cleaning sure feels good on the paws. Although we’ve run and hid the one and only time we’ve seen such a steam.
Do those floors get slippery after they are cleaned? That would be fun. Mom and Dad are having grey tile and grout and grey-stained hardwood in the addition. It should disguise all the litter we scatter around. At least that’s the plan. Mom is thankful for completing 600 Peloton rides. Hardwood floors are a lot of work, but they sure are beautiful!

TW hasn’t done that in a l-o-n-g time and she should. She said it leaks water and she needs a new one. I don’t like that thing though.

Brian, I’m NOT going to tell The Hubby about this, since he tracks in dirt and stuffs on his shoes all of the time, and when I complain (’cause I like to walk around barefoot), he says he cannot be bothered to take his shoes off! Harrumpf!
Today we are grateful for good friends and nice weather. And I’m wishing I had one of those steamers now.
