Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Helping the Mom Practice

thankful thursday blog hop brian 05022019

Yes indeed, it’s the first Thursday in May and that means itโ€™s time for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am very thankful to each of you for stopping by today. We always have something be thankful for and to share with you. We really do enjoy reading about the things you are thankful for too. If youโ€™re new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we get super excited when we see new blogger pals join us!

Today, as you can see, I’ve got my eyes on the Mom and I’ve been helping her practice every chance I get, and I do get a lot of chances. I know I’ve told you before how I like to fluff up my Mom’s legs and I like to sit with her on the couch. Hey, I even like to sit right behind her when I’m not sitting with her. Oh, sorry, what am I helping the Mom practice for? RETIREMENT! The Mom will be retiring in about a month and a half and she had been taking more days off than normal. So, on her extra days off I’ve been helping her prepare for retirement and full-time life in the cat lane!

The Dad has been retired for almost a year and a half and we sure will be thankful to have the Dad AND the Mom around most of the time. The Mom will be able to help with the FOD service too. FOD? That’s Food On Demand, at least that’s what the Dad calls it. Hey, Dad is our on personal GrubHub. We’ll let Mom play along too of course.

So what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt retirees, they deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brian, Happy Retirement to the moms! We’re still a few years out before DH can do that but it’ll be nice having him home when it does happen. I’m thankful that DH’s dental surgery went well yesterday. He’s feeling a bit rough today but went on to work. That probably wasn’t the best idea but he really didn’t know just how bad he felt until he got to the office. I’m thankful that today’s DS’s 25th birthday. My how the years go by fast! Finally, I’m thankful that I finished the A2Z Challenge for the 6th year running and am… Read more »

Oh, yes – you and your Brother and Sisters are going to be extra spoiled once the Mom has fully retired. Won’t that be wonderful having both Mom and Dad there with you all the time. Brother Simon may have to be more careful with two sets of human eyes keeping tabs on him!!!

Love the Personal Grub Hub. We sort of have that except when Sawyer refuses yo eat his food with the meds in it. Then Mom won’t fill the kibble dispenser. We are thankful for our 1900th post and for being a first commenter on the Tuesday Teaser, and for having good friends like you. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer p.s. You are going to love having both your humans retired!

Brian, you should hear me coo and purr when I see your pic on top of the post. Pop thought he was gonna retire last year but working at home 3 days a week has extended his work life. I’ll bet your mom is looking forward to more lap fluffing from you.
