Hello everyone, it’s Sister Saturday and it’s me Dolly, but you might have already figured that one out. Did you? I’m in the big bedroom all sacked out on the new big bed. It sure is comfy and I might just spend the rest of the day right here. Maybe I can talk the Dad into coming in and taking a snooze with me later today. I always enjoy nap time with the Dad.
Speaking of the Dad, he’s been cooking, but that’s not unusual, he likes to cook. You many have heard that some here enjoy a nice plump rotisserie chicken. It’s true, but believe it or not, I’m not one of those. I can take it or leave it, mostly I leave it. Oh, I do eat some, the first day when it comes home fresh but after that, forgetaboutit! Anyways, I did think it was odd when the Mom brought home not one rotisserie chicken from the grocery place, but two rotisserie chickens. As it turns out, the second rotisserie chicken wasn’t for us, it was for the Dad. Seriously?
So what did the Dad do with his rotisserie chicken? He ended up taking it apart and then he made a Skillet Chicken Pot Pie with Puff Pastry.

It looks pretty darn yummy and from what I hear it was really good. The Dad made it from a recipe that originally appeared in Southern Living. We didn’t get any of that but it did smell really good.
I hope you all have a fabulous Saturday, see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Hey, check out the Jackson Galaxy Cat Collection at Petmate.com for some really cool things.
Dolly, you sure do make for a gloriously adorable photo, and dad says the same about the pot pie!
I looked at that recipe and it sounds delicious. The square for the pastry look good too. I must try that. You look interested in the smells coming from the kitchen.
Oh that pot pie looks so yummy. We love rotisserie chicken too. Mom doesn’t usually get any of that since there are so many of us. You all have a super day. Saty cool.
Dolly, you are such a pretty kitty.
You look so comfy laying on the bed and maybe enjoying the smells of that chicken 😉

Gotta look at that recipe. All my brothers will like that. It’s not mom’s thing…but they will love it.
That looks good. Have a great weekend.
Firstly Hello Dolly
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this looks most yummy. I have a delicious chicken and noodle soup recipe with leek in it.
I have never cooked with leek until I found this . WE love it.
Hugs Cecilia
Tasty is a tasty does … save a bite for us … we’re on our way now …
Dolly I think I’d have a hard time just smelling the delicious aroma of that chicken pot pie and not heading to the kitchen to ask for a taste! However, I also think napping is a good idea on a Saturday. Touch choice!
Hugs, Teddy
Dolly you are such a beautiful girl! But you know that already – MOL! Your dad scored with that beautiful pie, yum!
That Chicken Pot Pie sure looks good. We don’t eat much chicken around here because it attracts pests. . . I mean cats.
Yum, we can almost smell that chicken pot pie on our computer monitor screen.
Dolly I think your Dad gave our Dad a brainstorm and he will be heading out for a chicken and rolls so we have us a pot pie too. Oh I do like the chicken. First day or later
That looks mighty good indeed. Hubby love chicken pot pies. I’ll pass on them though.
Have a purrfect weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥

That chicken pot pie looks really good. We know your dad will come in for a nap after having some of that delicious food. Thanks for the share. Have a fantastic rest of your weekend.
Wow, that looks awesome! Your Dad is obviously a very good cook! We bet your house did smell great.
You look so purretty and comfy Dolly. Enjoy that new bed. And that pot pie sure looks tasty. Ya’ll are so lucky to have such a pawsum daddy. Big hugs

That looks so good. I’ll have to check out that recipe because Ken would love that.
That looks really good.
That looks yummy!!! Mudpie doesn’t like rotisserie chicken – actually, she hardly likes any human food – but Angel Truffles loved it.
Dolly you sure do look pretty and if only we had smell-o-vision here, we bet that pot pie dinner is deeeeelicious!
WoW, that chicken pot pie looks yummy. How could you resist kitties?
Using a rotisserie chicken in a pot pie does sound like a smart idea, i’ll bet it was wonderful.
That pie looks yummy but what a waste of good rotisserie chicken. I haven’t gotten any of that action in weeks.
That looks fantastic! But since carbs are the enemy I’ll leave it to you guys. Dexter loved chicken and tuna and even licked the soaking bowl. I’m glad you’re more discerning, Dolly.
We would stay in the big bed all day long. If you have any extra chicken please send it this way.
Looking beautiful, as always, Dolly! Dad’s pie looks and sounds delicious.
My human says that chicken pot pie looks really yummy! Me, I’ll just take the rotisserie chicken.
It looks tasty!
Winnie loves chicken BUT our human is vegetarian! Purrs and hugs from us!
That pot pie looks delicious! Your dad looks like a great cook!
