Hello there everyone, thanks for being here with me on Sister Saturday and welcome to June. Today it’s my turn to tell you about some watching I did from up here on the steps yesterday. It’s one of those days where some strange things were going on in the living room and big bedroom, and this was the best spot to observe it all.

So what was going on? Well, let me tell you. A while back we told you about how the Dad was steam cleaning the wood floors. Well, yesterday it was the carpet in the living room. Seriously, the Dad has a carpet scrubber thingy too, it doesn’t hiss like the steamer does, it growls more like a Dyson. Anyways, that carpet thing peed on the living room carpet and the whole carpet ended up smelling funny, even after it dried.

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, the couch and chaise got moved into the middle of the living room. Oh, and the big bed was stripped naked, totally naked. It was then time for the invasion of the furniture peoples. They brought us a new couch, a new big bed and a new big mattress too. I think they forgot something, we are chaiseless, yes, there is no chaise on the new couch, I am not totally convinced that is acceptable, but I guess we’ll see. Oh, we are supposed to get a new chair and a new ottoman but some humans are making them in Georgia for us so they won’t be here probably until July.

Today we will be trying to get used to the new stuff, hopefully it won’t take us too long. I hope your Saturday is cool and calm. See ya soon!

The best way to get used to new furniture is to rub all over it and put your smell on it 😉
We think that will be fun, especially the bed 😉 MOL!

Sounds like spring cleaning, just as summer’s arriving … lucky kitties, lucky humans …! Fresh and new. No scratching!

Whoa! Shouldn’t all the rug cleaning have been done after the new furniture humans walked with their dirty work shoes on everything? I guess though it makes sense to do under the old furniture. We’re having appliance humans coming Friday cos the peeps say we need a new washer/dryer.

Sounds very exciting, Zoe, but no chaise on the new couch??? For how long…MOL 😀 Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞

Brian,

Humans are busy creatures cleaning, pushing stuff aside, rearranging, get rid of or bringing in new things. It’s all so maddening but in the end, they are happy humans for the changes which means you’ll be happier, too. Enjoy the new furniture and freshly cleaned carpet.
