Thanks for coming by on Tabby Tuesday and I hope it’s a normal one! Yes, I know that you know that our normal was taken from us last week and it was quite racking to the nerves, it really was. I was all out of sorts for a while, but now it seems a new furniture normal has returned.
All along the Dad kept telling me I would like the new furniture and the it would be normal for us in no time. I don’t think anyone ever put Dad and normal together in the same sentence, but digress I did. Anyways, the new couch hasn’t tried to attack me like I feared and neither has the new big bed. WOW, speaking of big, the new big bed sure is bigger than the old big bed. The back of the new couch is actually taller so we can actually see out front better than we could before.
Sister Seal has adapted to the new furniture too and even gets up on the new bed for some petting and brushing time. I’m not afraid of the new big bed but haven’t decided it is a safe place to jump on yet. Normal, we like things normal and I must admit, it is starting to feel that way again.
See ya soon gang! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
oh we hope da big bed is soon your place and you can jump on it like that kids on that trampolines ;O)
Normal is good and everything is normal when you get used to it, Simon.
Just rub on the new furniture and put your smell on it. That was it won’t have that new smell. We think you will get used to the new normal too 🙂

Well, having a better view is always good!
Simon, you’ve taught Seal so much … we hope she returns the favor with that new bed. You two make a great team!
Good normal is coming back, and the perks of the new sound like a fine new normal.
Not to worry Simon, the new furniture will be your favorite place soon. Especially that big bed. You all have a fantastic day.
Glad you are getting used to things. That BIG bed sounds like a good thing–plenty of room for the pets to sleep with the humans!
You are a kitty, so you should be curious and love new things, right?
Im sure Simon will get the courage to try the new bed soon.
I’m sure you will feel all normal eventually, Simon! Bigger bed is better you know 🙂
Oh yes … taller is much better to see out windows with!
I knew things would return to normal and I’m happy they are. I like it that the couch is taller so you can see out the window better. Got to keep and eye on all those outdoor critters.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
We’re glad the new furniture is behaving!

We don’t like change either. Attacking furniture is no fun and we don’t trust new stuff.
Simon I 100% agree I don’t like my normal to become abnormal it messes with my aging gray matter
Hugs Cecilia
Simon, it’s wise to take one’s time with new stuff! Gotta make sure it’s not gonna eat you first!
Glad the new furniture is working out. 🙂
It takes a bit of time to feel normal when our pawrents cause upheaval. A few extra treats may assist with the adjustment
This new furniture actually sounds pretty cool! I hope you learn to love this new normal!
dood….N sure de new sofa mite haz claw guard…but 18 centz anda sack oh friez sayz sum part
oh it doez knot…..scratch on ~~~~~~ 🙂 ♥♥ !!
I’m sorry you’re normal became abnormal but now it’s normal again. Friday those delivery humans will be here bringing our new stuff.
Next week you will not even see it as new!! Enjoy that look out on the taller back of the couch. Thanks for the comment on the blog. I have actually seen a video of a cat having a cucumber behind the cat and watching it jump really high when the cat turns around. Hey Brian, mom and dad ever do that to you?
We are very pleased that the couch did not attack you. The best way to defeat a couch is to lie on it all day.
The new BIG bed sounds to me like a place soon to become your favourite napping spot!
Loves and licky kisses

We hope things continue to get a little bit more normal for you everyday, Simon!

We’re with you, Simon, we prefer normal too! But it is nice to have new furniture and we’re so glad that you and Sister Seal are adjusting to yours!
And we bet it wasn’t a lot of fun to have to hang out in the bathroom either, unless you managed to figure out how to turn on the water faucet:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Frodo, Amarula and Zulu feel the same way!!
Glad you’re enjoying the new furniture, and that normalcy has returned to your world.
Simon, we are all big fans of normal, too.
Change is upsetting, Simon. We hope in time you’ll get used to the new stuff, especially the big bed. We bet it’s comfy!
wooo hooo! those changes sound like positive ones and positive changes are pawesome!!
I know how hard it is for kitties to adapt to changes. Yet they are to be admired that eventually they do.
Enjoy all that is there!!
I am always praying that the homeless who are adoptable will be given homes.
We have not had any adoptables since last year. None of the ones we have now outside want to be loved by humans.
Sounds like all the new furniture is gonna be great, Simon.
We know how it is to get new furniture. We finally got used to the new bedroom furniture and Mom Paula is saying something about new office furniture. Doesn’t she know we kitties don’t like change!
you know, Simon, we all prefer normal here too! we’re glad you are settling in with the new furniture and enjoying it. sounds like you are missing out on the new big bed tho!
pip, minnie, hollie, sharpie ditto, TL
We are glad the big bed and sofa haven’t come after you, Simon. And we’re glad Normal is settling back in!
Handsome Simon, everything will be normal again soon sweet boy.
Changes always feed odd at first, then we adapt. That’s one reason gratitude is so important, it helps us fight simply accepting our blessings as normal and then expecting them.
Normal is always good. Mom wishes their big bed was bigger, but it is already a king. Unfortunately, we fill it up really fast, leaving little room for them. Too bad, so sad! MOL! Don’t worry…the new bed won’t bite! 🙂
