Hello everyone, thanks for coming by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, the first one for June. I am always thankful to each of you for joining us and as each of you know, every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful. We sure do enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you’re new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we do excited when new blogger pals join us!
Now then, before I start, I wanted to let you know that we won’t be around until late this afternoon or tonight. The Dad is having some dental surgery early this morning for a dental implant, so he will be out of it for a while when he gets home.
Now then, as you can probably tell, I am most thankful that I get to make biscuits with the Mom, just about every night. In this photo I was giving our old couch it’s final send-off to the CRB (Couch Rainbow Bridge). Let me tell you, I really get into making biscuits and I not only use my front paws, both back paws get going making biscuits too. It makes me very happy and it makes the Mom smile big time! I really am thankful that the Mom helps me with my biscuit making whenever I feel like it.
What about you, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Tonight i am thankful we got the garbage and recycle bins to the curb between rain showers so we did not get soaked. Like cats, i don’t mind water, as long as i choose when i get wet and where i get wet and how much of me gets wet.
First, our hopes yer Dad gets over the Dental thingy easily. Second, we bet you gave the couch a fond farewell. Good familiar smells and all that. And wanted to mention that TBT once gave a couch to Goodwill (before our time) and it showed up in the Sunday newspaper a week later as being appreciated by a new family who dint have one. It had a unique pattern that was obvious. Third, I (AYLA) make biscuits on TBT’s back in bed and he LOVES it. He says it is somewhere between a massage and a heating pad.
Biscuits with Mom are always great, Brian. We like those here, too!
We’re purring and praying that Dad’s dental surgery goes well tomorrow.
Wow, back paw biscuits too?! You were in the biscuit making zone! Hope all goes well with your Dad’s dental surgery.
Humans make great assistants when you train them right. we are thankful for an eager human with opposable thumbs.
Brian, dear furiend, thank YOU for hosting this blog hop. Am purraying for the dad’s quick recovery and that the dentist does good work.
BTW, biscuit making is always a good thing.
we send lots of potp and healing thoughts to your dad and we hope the dental surgery is over soon and efurrything goes very very well…
You look very happy, Brian ! We cross our paws and hope everything goes well for your dad. Purrs
My thankful is that cats don’t hold a grudge when you miss their gotcha day!
Love seeing your happy paws going there! Very sweet!
Hi Brian! I love to make biscuits, too! I really like to make biscuits on or near the Mom lady while she attempts to go to sleep, MOL! It is nice to have a human to make biscuits on, isn’t it?
We are sending your dad purrs and hugs for his surgery!
Purrs,
Tylan
Making biscuits with mum…purrfect 🙂
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
We are purring that your Dad’s dental surgery goes well. Making biscuits in your Mom’s lap is the best isn’t it?
Hopefully the dental stuff goes okay for the Dad, never fun there. Biscuits with the Mom sounds like a grand time indeed.
You are a multi-tasker using your back paws as well as your front ones for biscuit making, Brian!
I hope your dad’s dental surgery goes well.
We are thankful we aren’t having dental surgery! We hate the dentist! Hope everything goes well.
HAHA….biscuits, I have a barn cat that will stand there and do biscuits as I massage her head. Lily on the other hand never has done them. Like humans, cats I am learning can be so different. My barn cats love to see me coming, one with the tail that vibrates in place without actually moving. Lily on the other hand just knows I will be there, she is not big on begging for loving except maybe every so often at 4 in the morn. I just love cats. Brain, glad dad liked the cat cup. I thought of you… Read more »
We sure do hope that Dad’s dental goes well. That stuff is not any fun at all. Brian, that is such a good boy to make biscuits with the Mom. You all have a great day.
Our kitties do that sometimes and Olivia does it to Mom too once and a while. Best wishes to your dad on his implant. I’m sure it will all go fine and he will be back to normal in no time.
Making biscuits is something we all can do well when we’re super happy and content right? Mom laughs at me because sometimes when I’m just going for a walk on my leash outside I stop to make a few!!! HAHA
Hugs, Teddy
Brian, that is so sweet! Your Mom is a lucky woman. CRB, MOL! We are thankful to friends today, everyone at Brian’s Home is included.
Best wishes to your Dad for a quick visit with the dentist. Dental Implants take time for each phase of the procedure but well worth the time in the end.
Hugs Cecilia
That’s a sweet photo of you, you’re a biscuit-maker extraordinaire!
Purrs and good luck to your dad; we hope it goes well and that his recovery is quick. Our biped is shuddering at the thought of dental surgery (she’s had a few things done, but not implants). Take care!
Good luck to your Dad. Raz likes to make biscuits in Mom’s neck!
The Florida Furkids
Our Rumpy Bump is the big biscuit maker here. He has his own little pillow for when he joins Dad on the couch. Too much claw action for his leg. Me I have no claws so I can knead or claw wherever I want, and I do a lot. Purrs friends
I will pray that your Dad’s dental surgery goes well. Thanks for hosting. XO
I had a wonderful biscuit making kitty a very long time ago. A wonderful memory.
Sending good thoughts to your dad for a successful surgery.

I sure wish we knew how to make biscuits, it sounds so very relaxing!!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Praying that Dad Terry’s dental surgery goes okay. Brian, Astrid makes biscuits with all four feet as well. She purrs super loud the entire time. Having trouble linking up, but Mom will keep trying. We are especially thankful that though Sawyer continues to have seizures, he hasn’t had to go to the emergency hospital since March. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
CRB (Couch Rainbow Bridge)…ROFLOL! Oh Brian, you are deliciously cute! Here’s hoping your dad’s dental thing goes well; sounds very icky indeed!
You’re quite the biscuit maker, that’s for sure! I think you put me to shame! We’re sending purrs to your dad.
I don’t have a cat so I had to read the other comments before I knew what making biscuits was. lol My daughter has a cat now so I’ll have to tell her that one. Good luck to the dad on his dental procedure.

That’s an excellent photo and biscuits are delicious! I’m thankful I’ve got enough energy to go for walkies in this hot and humid weather and happy there’s a splash park if we need it.
Keep up the good work, Brian.
My mom hopes your dad’s dental implant surgery will be easier than hers had been years ago. But she had never regretted for even a second to have it done.
It’s been a long time since we had a cat who enjoyed making biscuits. I miss that!
We sure hope all went well with your Dad’s dental work today.

I make biscuits for Pop sometimes but of course not on his lap.
I am thankful that I DID NOT have to go for dental surgery today … and for the rain that is helping our gardens, as well as all the farmers and those who rely on water for their livelihood!
