Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Feeding Station Nation

thankful thursday blog hop brian 06202019

Hello to all of you and thanks for coming by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am so very thankful to each of you for joining us. Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you’re new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we do excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today we’re all thankful for our feral family. You might recall that all but two of them disappeared for almost six months and then one day there they were back again. Most likely we’ll never solve that mystery but we’re very happy to have them back with us. Every morning and every evening the Dad takes them fresh wet food and dry food. He also makes sure they always have fresh water.

Here is a short video of one of the morning breakfast feedings. Five are there and they sure were ready for their yummy stuff.

Shortly after the tabby decided to lounge around for a bit. We call him Tabs. In the first part of the video was Zelda, Smiley, Tabs, Mr. Black and Foz (friend of Zelda). We’re thankful for the opportunity to make their lives a wee bit better.

What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We also have a feral family that we feed. They repay us by keeping the neighborhood free of rats and mice, We hope they never disappear.

My dad used to feed feral cats too! In fact, that’s how I got my Spunky Doodle when she was just a kitten. Her mom was one of the cats my dad fed and had her kittens at his house.

Brian, I wonder what Manny and CB think about our ‘O’ Cats, who sometimes come right up to the screen to sniff at each other! That is, when we are able to have a screen door; it’s been rainy and cool an awful lot!

Brian,

I’m thankful that it’s the Thursday before DH’s off Friday and to get a long weekend with him. Yay! I’m thankful the rain is expected to be out of the area tomorrow, too. Of course, it’s forecast to return on Saturday & Sunday. Our yard is really going to need mowing by next weekend. I’m thankful to have good friends such as you who visit me regularly, too. Have a good weekend!

Tabs is a handsome kitty.

It is wonderful that your Dad feeds the ferals. We live in a very developed area, and none of the few cats we see outside seem feral.
