Hello there everyone, yes, it really is Tabby Tuesday and yes, I’m right here with you today. There’s no place else I’d rather be than right here with you. I did have a few questions in the blog comments a while back so I thought I’d try to answer those today. Actually, I think I’ll answer 3 questions today.
The first question is who is or what is Woody? Woody is my pal and my safe spot. If you look closely you might be able to tell that Woody is a wooden kitty. I’m leaning my head against Woody’s butt and you can see Woody’s head tucked in under the wooden stand. Since Woody is wood he must be attracted to the wood stand. Anyways, I do spend quite a bit of time right here with Woody.
The second question I had when I posted about Woody before is what am I looking up at? Actually I wasn’t looking up at another kitty at all like some of you guessed. I’m just looking up at the way high railing that goes up around the steps and way up to the upstairs landing. It sure is way up there.
The third question I had was do I really walk the high railings? Okay, here’s the answer to that one…

Yepper, I sure do, and yepper, it does seem to drive that Dad and the Mom a bit nuts when I do this. They mostly ignore me so I’ll get down and most of the time it works. The Mom did have to get a photo of proof though.
I hope you all have a wonderful Tabby Tuesday, see ya soon! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Simon we hope that you balance purrformance ends always well and that the power of Woody is with you efurry time ;O)
After performing those daredevil stunts, I don’t blame you one bit for posing perfectly and relaxing with Woody. I sure hope your Tuesday is wonderful, Simon! Hugs, RO
You may be better off with Woody, splinters are less dangerous haha
We bet Woody is a good listener. But Simon, are you trying to give us all heart attacks?!?!
That walking of the rail would drive this Mom nuts too. Yikes. Simon, you need to find something else to do.You all have a great day.
We know kitties are great at balancing and landing, but be careful. Railings can be slippery!
OMG – Simon, you’re not the only cat who makes it’s humans nervous. We have one of those high up lofts with the tempting railing – 2 of our cats have taken a leap through the railings:(
Now I know about Woody. I knew you were on the stairs a lot and I would be a bit bonkers about that too. It’s what kitties do though so we humans have to just deal with your antics.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Simon,
Woody is a great guy to lean on and doesn’t eat much.
I suspect that fine fluffy tail makes for a good balance beam.
Love that shot Mom got
Hugs Cecilia
PS when is Dad’s surgery?
I like seeing you with Woody more than seeing you on those railings – yikes! Stay safe handsome!
Maybe you are into wood, Simon? Wood cat, wood railings…hmmm…
Simon, we loved your answers. Woody looks like a really good friend to have around. We love the picture of you laying on Woody. Thanks for the wonderful share. Have a great upcoming holiday.
dood…guess itza good thing yur palz name iz knot concreet…..tho round heer we like chillaxin
on de garage floor… sew……:) ♥♥
That is pretty high up there.
Whoa! I’d be happy to join you up there altho it might give TW a heart attack. MOL! I’ll bet Woody’s, er, woody is nice and cool in the summer.
Very candid of you to answer your fans’ questions, Brian. Inquiring minds always want to know!
If I had a railing like that, I’d be up there too, Simon! So my human is kind of glad we don’t have one.
You be careful up there!!
Driving humans to distraction is what cats do better than any other creature. You have a great way to do this.
OMC that railing!! Mom here would go a bit nuts too!!

Would you believe we have a Woody at our house too? It’s a piece of driftwood I picked up at the lake years ago, and (to me, at least) it looks cat-shaped. Angel Tara used to love to hang out with him.
Yes, i know you are good at balance, still, i am not so sure i would chance being on that rail too often. My advice would also be to never polish that railing!
Woody looks like a great friend. He probably always listens and never contradicts.
That would make me nervous too if a kitty was up there.
Oh boy – we can sure see why that makes Mom and Dad nervous! Our cat Katie used to do that at our old house too. Yup, it’s best to just leave you be and hope you really are as graceful as they say (Katie always was, and we think you are too, Simon)! 🙂
Do be careful up there, Simon!
Oh my gosh…I would be freaking out with you walking the rail like that. But I do know that cats have better balance then I do, still it is a long way down so be careful. Glad you hae your friend Woody but I would thik that a stuffed cat would be softer then the wood……haha, but yes, I know sometimes Lily gets in places and I wonder about them being comfy also.
Simon, the mom would have a heart attack if one of us did that.
Good high-walking werk! I fully would do that myself. ~ AYLA
You are more talented than the Wallendas.
If they don’t get a picture then it didn’t happen.
Wow Simon…you could be in the Cirque de Soleil shows!! What a great balancer you are!
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
Walking on railings way up high is one of the many reasons you cats need nine lives! Woody seems like just the right sort of friend – always there and always agreeing with what you meow!
Simon, we enjoyed learning those three things! Be careful on that railing, okay?
Simon I like Woody – no wonder he’s your “safe place” ! I bet your Mom and Dad wish you didn’t “railing walk” because it’s just a big scary but if you want to be a circus performer – well – you’ll do it!
Hugs, Teddy
Um….well, now there is evidence of your shenanigans! Congrats on your tightrope walking skills! 🙂
Simon wow that is some walk and you really cleared those things up my friend
I can understand why your Mom & Dad get nervous when you walk that rail!
