Hello everyone, thanks for coming by on Mancat Monday. As you can see, we had a bit of a surprise the other day, on Friday actually. The new ottoman and chair came a little earlier than we expected. We really weren’t expecting them to show up until later in the month, but darned if they didn’t show up.
Mom made sure to put the nice cushy towel down for me so I could check it out. Guess what? This is totally acceptable and fully Brian approved. I had my doubts when I heard my favorite ottoman was retiring but not any more, this thing is totally purrfect. But, as you probably know, the ottoman has a partner, a chair. Oh that chair, I must admit, I like it every bit as much as the new ottoman, if not better. I’ve been sleeping at night in the new chair, it’s so darn comfy. Here’s the new dynamic duo…
While I think it’s wonderful, and so do the others, of course the delivery humans scared the bejeebers out of Brother Simon and Sister Seal, who remained in hiding until late in the day. They sure are silly, but we love them.

BTW, has your dad had his surgery yet? We know it’s early July, so we’re sorry if we missed an update, but are sending our purrs regardless, both for the procedure if it’s yet to take place and for speedy healing.
I’m glad you approve of the new ottoman. They are fun to sleep on as long as you’re not to close to the edge.

I have known peoples cats that would run and hide once someone came. But my LIly Bit is not one of them kind. She loves to greet everyone~NOSEY~ then once she meets, off she goes about her business! Delivery people aren’t always sensitive to the plight of furry furriends and don’t realize that some are scared more easily than others.
