Hello gang, it’s Mancat Monday and while that’s not hard to believe, it is hard to believe that July is here…already. It sure is hard to believe that 2019 is half over. Anyways, as you can tell, I also spend some time is the round scratcher, we all do. The funny part is, the Dad bought these for us a long, long time ago and we didn’t like them. That’s how our Angel Precious got to try them and fell in love with them. Now we all really like them, go figure.
Oh, guess what else is going on? Yes, it’s Christmas in July and the Mom and the Dad got an early start and even watched a Christmas movie over the weekend. Yes, I did ask if the Dad was going to put up the Christmas tree but he just looked at me and smiled. That must mean no, he’s not putting up the Christmas Tree, but if it really is Christmas in July then we need our tree!
This is going to be a fairly busy week here. Outside of the normal busy stuff, our Dad’s surgery is coming up so we’ll all be taking good care of him once it happens. I hope you all have a really fun week and manage to keep cool, it’s sort of a heat wave here in the South.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

we love the idea of chritmas in july so much… maybe we can talk with the mama to see the grinch tonight?
The best of luck to your dad this week, Brian! Yeah, we’ve got a busy week here, too. As long as I get my snoozes in…July 1. Boy did that one sneak up! – Tom x
We sure wish Dad the best of luck with his surgery. Sure hope it all goes well for him. You all have a wonderful day.
Always a good time for a good christmas movie. Tastes change with the scratchers we guess.
Enjoy your round thingy, although I have to say it does not look real comfy. We have your dad in our prayers. I’m sure things will go well for him.
Is your dad getting the other eye done? He will be well and fine and it will all be over. XXX
Brian,
Saying prayers for Dad to come through his surgery with flying colors. You’ll have to be mindful of where he is at all times after his procedure to not trip him up. He won’t be so quick to respond. Thanks for dropping in for a bit of boogie time. Have a pAwesome week!
I’m like you guys. If TW leaves a bed or even a toy out long enough eventually I’ll gravitate toward it. Pop watches all those Christmas in July movies in fact Hallmark has Christmas movies all year long. I’m gonna be sick of holiday songs by the time December rolls around.
It’s good to have Christmas in the summertime. How fun. I’m playing a Christmas game with all the fun Christmas music.
We have our fingers and toes crossed for a good outcome for dads surgery.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. โฅ
We are not quite used to writing 2019 and it is almost over. Hope the surgery goes as planned.
Happy July, Brian! Sending good thoughts to your Dad. Don’t have too busy of a week. You still need to get those naps in, after all. MOL!
Brian, I hope those round scratchers come in XXXL size, ’cause both Manny and Chili Bruce would want to be in it at the same time! Those boys…
Angel Precious broke them in for you and left her lovely lady cat aroma all over them.
Hugs Cecilia
Tell dad good luck on the surgery and maybe they should get you a small cat Christmas tree that you can enjoy. lol
Best wishes for your Dad’s surgery. Y’all are one Christmas loving household – JULY? I can wait for December, and this year I refuse to let Christmas stress me out, I’ll learn to enjoy it like you do Brian.
Goodness the year really is flying by Brian and we think we agree a nap is in order
We send ahead of time purrs for Dad
Angel Precious would be happy that you are using her scratchers now! She must have broken them in for you. ๐ We’ll be thinking good thoughts for your Dad’s surgery too. Christmas in July? Does that mean there are gifts, even if not a tree? ๐
Christmas in July does sound good. Some Christmas movies are just so good, you can watch them any time of the year. Thanks for the share. Hope your dad’s surgery goes well. Have a great rest of your week.
Hmmm….we wonder if we can talk our pawrents into giving us pressies during Christmas in July? BOL!
Sending prayers and good thoughts for your Dad’s upcoming surgery.
xoxo,
Rosy, Jakey & Arty
We wish your dad best of luck for his surgery. Purrs
Christmas? Oh boy! I might see if my Mom and Dad would “buy” into that concept! We will be thinking about your Dad and his surgery. Sending lots of POTP.
Hugs, Teddy
Christmas in July is the best part about the month of July, IMO!
That round scratcher sure looks like a great place to stay cool. Summer has finally arrived in Chicago. We finally turned our a/c on last week and hasn’t been turned off since. Stay cool!
We have Christmas in July too on our blog with crocheted snowflake ornaments ๐
That’s a neat scratcher.
Maybe Christmas in July would help cool things down a little!
Oh my gosh…this heat wave her in the south is horrible. I am having to stay in and even Lily don’t want to be on the deck. I know that you all will take care of dad once he is home. Help mom out with him.
Mom says she understands what your daddy did, watching Christmas movie in July! Hooman never has time to do it when Christmas is approaching. So better start now! ๐
Pinot xo
Time sure does fly. Or at least that’s what our mom says. It seems a long wait between suppers, if you ask us.
Hey Brian, yes, the year is half over. But let’s think about it like a glass of water – is it half full or half empty? I want to be optimistic and say the year is half filled. Now I have to fill it with another 6 months MOL.
Wishing your dad well for his surgery and I know you will take great care of him. xx
Itโs too early for the tree, but not too early to make a list and start gathering gifts!
A little too early for Christ-mouse stuff here, at least according to mum.
OMC, Brian! The mom doesnโt even want to think about Christmas just yet.
We hadn’t thought about Christmas in July. Our neighbor was playing Silent Night today. But we still think she might be crazy.
That’s funny how nobody wanted the scratchers before, and now they are in demand!
I think my Tyler would like one of those.
You look cute in the round scratcher!
