Yes, it really is Mancat Monday and yes, I did have a very comfy and cozy weekend, I hope you did too. I did spend lots of time snuggled up on the couch with the Mom, it was sure lots of fun and I sure did lots of purring too. But, the weekend is over and now it’s back to the regular grind. A kitties work is never done.
I know what you’re thinking, well, at least I think I do, you’re thinking what is my regular grind anyways? Well, one of my duties is to supervise the iRobot Roomba that vacuums the house. Even some robots get the weekend off and ours is one of those. You can see I’ve got the half wary whisker thing going on, which only happens when the robot wakes up and gets ready for work.
Our iRobot Roomba really is kind of funny, it still gets stuck in some weird places, like under some chairs, and the Dad has to rescue it when it sends out a call for help. We do have a couple of electronic barriers that keeps it from places it’s not suppose to go but sometimes the Dad sits them down facing backwards and the silly robot wanders off into one of the off limit rooms. One place that is off limits to the robot is right where our food sits. Believe me, if that things gets close it will eat every bit of kibble! Other than that and my supervising where it goes, none of us pay much attention to it, although it did try to suck up Sister Seal when she was climbing int one of the litter boxes. She really wasn’t amused.
That’s it for today, have a fun day Monday everyone, I’ll see you on Thursday for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
You are very brave to supervise this scary robot! Have a wonderful Mancat Monday!
Awesome job supervising that damn thing. Mom’s the Roomba here.
I think such a robot would be the pawfect toy for us…
We don’t have a robot around here. Mom isn’t sure she wants one with the troubles they have getting stuck and all. Be careful of that guy!
Silly robot, eatting kibble. Guess it thinks it is a cat. As long as it doesn’t eat you cats. You all have a super day.
Brain,
I often wonder how good those iRobot vacuum thingies are but honestly I hope in our next house we do not have any carpet whatsoever. We need to remove this horrible allergen monster from our lives for good! So, glad you had a relaxing weekend. Other than it being short, we had a nice one, too. We had some downtime watching TV and enjoying our favorite Pizza Huts pizzas in the evenings. Thanks for joining me on the 4M dance floor yesterday, my furriend. Have a groovy week!
Mom and I enjoyed this story Brian and your whiskers are quite a show! I don’t think I have ever been able to express myself as well as you have shown us. I’ll practice, and if I can accomplish it, I’ll post a picture. We’ll do a “twosie” with our pictures together!! Mom tried such a vacuum once. We loved it but we found ..or the vacuum did, that the carpet must have had some unseen by human eyes, ripples or something because the vacuum bumped along instead of being smooth and easy.
That iRoomba sounds like a fun toy. 🙂
A sister-sucking robot? Yikes! We don’t like the sound of that. We just use a regular vacuum cleaner and Olie barks and barks and barks when it’s on!
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
I love that your robot gets the weekend off!!! Stay away from Sister Seal, okay Roomba?
Brian you have the best titles to your posts.
Looking fine there in that box lid
Hugs Cecilia
We are glad to hear that you are supervising the iRobot Roomba because we think they are very scary. That is very brave of you.
We just ignore that crazy vacuum when it gets going. Our dad has to move all the chairs or it gets stuck all the time. Looks like you are doing a good job of ignoring it. Have a great week. Wait! A kibble eating robot? Hmmm, and then tried it with your Sister Seal too? We wouldn’t like that. Good thing you’re supervising that thing!
They are fun to watch too. We don’t have one, but I love visiting folks that have them.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥
That Roomba almost sounds like it has a mind of its own!
Dad was going to get one of those but our floors are all up and down. He just got a portable vacuum and likes it because it has no cord and it is quiet so we like it too
It’s a good thing you’re there to supervise Brian – that Roomba sounds like it needs supervision. Have a great week, you’re looking very handsome!
Happy Mancat Monday!! It must hard to keep up with that robot all day long. But you got to make sure that it doesn’t eat up all your food. Thanks for the share. Hope you had a fun weekend.
How nice that your robot gets the weekend off 🙂
oh my gosh! a robot vacuum…eeeek Lucy would NOT like that in our house!
Have a great week!
Gosh – your “antennas” serve you well – especially when the Roomba starts up – best someone keep an eye on that thing and why not you – right?
Hugs, Teddy
dood….yur whizkerz look like a goat tee !!! awesum ~~~~~~~ 🙂 ♥♥
Oh no Sister Seal! That would be terrible if there was a tail caught in one of those robots! And shame on it for wanting to eat the kibbles! Love the whisker thingy you have happening there.
thank goodness it won’t eat up your food! My Mom has wanted one of those!
The robots are going to try to take over the world soon, Brian, so keep an eye on them for all of us, okay?
Boxes are the best to sleep 😀
Those are some crazy whiskers you have going on there, Brian. Mom saw that special on Amazon for one of those robot vaculas. She is thinking about it, but she worries it might fill up after going about 10 feet with all the furs flying around here now.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Sorry we laughed about Sister Seal don’t tell her okay? We can only imagine how she would not have been amused. Love your whiskers sweet Brian. You are doing a good job snoopervising that robot that goes where it shouldn’t from time to time. That would be awful if it got in where the kibble is and ate it all up. You all have a wonderful week. Hugs and nose kisses
Brian those whiskers are major leaguer. BTW, we are scared of the evil roomba.
What a wonderful Robot Sitter you are Brian!
Happy Monday!
xoxo,
Jakey, Rosy & Arty
Mudpie isn’t a vacuum fan either. I tell her she’s WAY to big to ever get sucked up though, MOL!
I don’t know how you live with one of those things. They would freak me out. It is bad enough I have humans cleaning up after me. Now machines?
Hey, Brian, get up and guard those kibbles. Your whiskers are telling you something.
I guess even robots need a supervisor.
Brian, if it eats all your kibble, maybe its real name is iIzzy. MOL!
lol we can see why Seal wouldn’t be amused. At least it keeps life sorta interesting.
Love your stories about the robot vacuum, i hope you all have a fabulous week!
He has tried to ride it yet? Mine did. It was totally hilarious.
Your whiskers sure look funny, Brian. Whoa! I stay far away when Pop vacuums but stand my ground when TW does even though if anyone would suck me up it’s her.
Seems that robot is a good hairdresser too 😀 Extra Pawkisses🐾😽💞
Doesn’t that bot try to eat your tail? The doggy at my house hates when Mom has out the vacuum. I think the doggy would totally freak if there was a bot running around. Tee hee hee. Winks.
It’s best to keep an eye on that robot to be extra sure it stays away from your food, Brian, good job!
I don’t blame Sister Seal for being upset! 🙂
Charlee: “Good job keeping our robot overlords in check, Brian!”
Chaplin: “Yeah, if someone shows up looking for Sarah Connor, you tell them to go back when they came from!”
Lulu: “Don’t you mean ‘where’ they came from?”
Chaplin: “Nope.”
