Hello everyone, it’s Sister Saturday and it’s my turn once again. Maybe you’ve noticed that there has been several photos of me right here up one the steps. Well, I have been spending a good bit of time up here, especially during the daylight hours, and with good reason. I was trying to send the Mom and Dad a message and the Mom finally got it.
See that bit of a window that’s showing behind me? There is a wee window on each side of the door and I can sit here and look out, and I can see lots, especially some things on the front porch. What was I seeing out there? A pretty good size wasp nest, yikes, those buggers have been busy and I think that I’m the only one who spotted it.
The front door doesn’t get used much since the front door opening usually spooks Brother Simon and Sister Seal, like when delivery humans show up. When the UPS or FedEx deliveries show up the Dad usually greets them at the garage door. It’s a darn good thing that the peeps didn’t open the front door or we would have had a house full of wasps. Fortunately the Mom was the terminator and spayed them gone. Maybe I should call her the waspinator from now on! Ya done good Mom!
Have a fun Saturday everyone and I’ll be seeing you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Good for the Mom. They will just have to find another home. And good for you Dolly for seeing them. Have a super Saturday.
We have wasps around our house too. I took down at least three nests but they keep coming back. When we bought the place last year, the doorbell was missing and there was a nest in the hole it left behind.
OH what a good good girl for showing them the danger of wasps! One of my brothers doesn’t;t use his front door much either. He goes in and out via the garage. He had the same event you all did. XX
Way to go MOM….. but then that took your excitement away also. Sorry….you look so very pretty sitting there like that.
Oh Sister Dolly only one with spectacular eyes like you could spy the nest.. Good thing you are on duty.
Seems lots of the insects here are waiting by the doors probably ’cause it is so dang hot
Hugs Cecilia
Good job sweet Dolly. Those waspers can be a real problem. Your sweet Mom did good getting rid of them. We are glad none of you were stung. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs and nose kisses Mags and Chancy
We had that happen on our boat and we did the same thing. Don’t need that kind of thing anywhere near us either. Tell your mom she did a great job.
Have a purrfect Sister Saturday. My best to your peeps. ♥
Good job spotting those wasps, Dolly! And good job by Mom to get rid of them! 🙂
Wasps are scary. I am glad none of you got stung!
Dolly, that was great work!!
We had that happen and our sissy humans called in someone to get rid of them. Good for your mom.
Oh stay far away from the wasps.
Yikes! Mom to the rescue. Good job keeping your eye on things.
You’re a good observer, Dolly and your mom is a good waspinator…MOL😸Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
Your are not only beautiful Sister Dolly, but you are a valuable Watch Cat too!
Glad no one got hurt.
We think you should get extra treats for saving your family from a horrible fate, Dolly!

Wow your Mom is BRAVE!! Well done!!!!! And…well done Sister Dolly for bringing attention to the wasps!
Good for you Sister Dolly! I think The Waspinator is a great title for you to have – just make sure those things don’t sneak in the house again – sounds like maybe your Mom took care of them though. GOOD!
Hugs, Teddy
We had no idea you could “spay” wasps. MOL. Have a great weekend. You are as lovely as ever, Dolly, with your huge green eyes. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Our huMom is a terrible typist, but we did have a giggle at the idea of “spaying” all those wasps ! Please don’t be insulted by that !
Mudpie’s grandpa is horribly allergic to wasps. Good job, sweetie!
Good job you spotted those wasps and let your mum know!
Yay for the Mum figuring things out!
Humans should know that where there is a window, there is a cat 😉
MOL!

Bah, good catch indeed. Great the mom terminated them. I know where there is one at an abandoned house if she wants to keep terminating along haha
Wasps are fabulous and necessary and not welcome to build where they will sting me as i am highly allergic. Thank you, i will respect them at a distance.
Whoa! Your mom is a brave one! Wasps don’t sound like fun.
That was some great detective work, Sister Dolly. We are glad Mom was able to take care of those sawps.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Eek, wasps! Yes, that would be very bad if they got into the house, Dolly!
Both you and your Mom did good!!
I’m glad nobody was hurt by those wasps!
