Hello everyone, thanks for coming by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always so very thankful to each of you for joining us. I know I always say that, but I really am thankful for you. Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you’re new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we do excited when new blogger pals join us!
Yes indeed, I really am thankful for new visitors, we love seeing you on our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. But there are other visitors we are thankful for too. I know I’ve told you many times how much fun we have seeing different critters show up in our yard. As long as they don’t bother our feral family we’re fine with visitors. We’ve had ducks, geese, turtles, snakes, raccoons, foxes, and even a coyote too, although the coyotes were not welcome at all, and of course an occasional loose doggy wondering by.
Well, we had a new visitor, and we had never seen anything like it the whole time I’ve been here…

I really couldn’t believe my eyes and I’m sure thankful that I was awake and looking out the front window at the time. I’m also thankful that the Mom got the photos because the others were snoozing and missed seeing her. She’s actually been here a couple of mornings.
So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We see those all the time, Brian. They are really fun to watch. Until they eat all your plants. 🙂 We hope your visitor visits you again.
You had a deer. I see them rarely at night by us. We also see raccoons, possum and foxes. Thankful for a cool house on a hot day outside.
We don’t have deer close by, but lots of the other critters you mentioned. Today was a crazy day with lots that went wrong, i am thankful we got through it!
Wow, what an awesome visitor!
Oooh! That’s a cool visitor, for sure, Brian. It’s cousin visits our yard sometimes. 🙂
Someday I will come here and be prepared to have all the right info to create the perfect link, someday. Happy weekend, it is upon us soon! Thanks for always be such a great blogger. Love your shares, always smiles to go around. HUGS
How exciting to see a new visitor. We have deer at a river near us, but they don’t come into the neighborhood.
oh deeeeer…. what a beautiful deer…
How cool! We’ve never had a deer visit here!
We agree that it is fun to watch visitors.
We get mostly birds, but also the raccoon, squirrels and sometimes the groundhog.
We too have had some deer in the yard. They have only recently discovered our place and the hostas 😉
Purrs Georgia,Julie and JJ
A new one to the list. We see a crap ton of them, and crap they leave a lot of too haha we’re with you on coyotes too.
That was nice to see a new visitor, and she doesn’t look like a “vishus deer”. We get quite a few in our fields, but we have to keep checking because they pull down the electric fence that keeps the horses where they should be when they jump over them.
What a lovely visitor! We are thankful that we are supposed to get some rain today!
All I can think of to say is, “Oh deer!” Enjoy your new friend.
Wow a DEER Mom caught a glimpse of one on the backside of our pond, but your MOM actually got a picture. We are so impressed. You have some neat visitors.
Oh what fun to have such a pretty visitor. Bet she enjoyed your grass. You all have a super duper day.
Brian dear furiend, that is one big visitor! I hope she doesn’t eat your garden and/or shrubs!
Thank you for hosting this hop and have a purrfect day
Purrseidon
Wow, you’ve got deer TV! We see deer from time to time but not that close!
He is so cute. What a lovely visitor 🙂
I’m thankful to be home and comfortable and that mommy got my puzzle box back out again and fresh pink tissue paper. XX
OH MY CATS Bambi came calling!! What a beautiful sight. Teddy had a bear in his yard and you have a deer.
I hope the only tigers seen there are of the domesticated variety
Hugs Cecilia
So graceful and beautiful!
That is a beautiful visitor. Thanks for hosting. I hope you have a nice day. XO
Wow Brian – what a beautiful doe! I’d rather have seen one of those than the BEAR we had in our backyard a few days ago believe me! Thanks for hosting the Hop…………..!!
Hugs, Teddy
She is a really nice visitor and you will be fine as long as you keep your Vishus Deer Repellent close when outside.
Deer are always welcomed visitors. When I was growing up we saw them often on our farm. They are most beautiful and ever so graceful.
Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥

Not many critters can get over our 6 foot fence so we will just enjoy your visitor.
Indeed interesting guests 🙂
That is a wonderful new visitor! We have never seen any of those but #1 tells us there are some not too far away. We are thankful for our little red squirrels who come and eat sunflower seeds.
Purrs,

Sometimes I see one of those wonderful creatures when walking through the woods, but I never came so close. I hope they don’t eat all the plants in your garden!
Deer are such beautiful creatures. It makes Mom sad when she sees so many of them lying on the ground after trying to cross a busy street. We also love seeing their babies. We have had snakes, turtles, lots of bunnies, and a coyote or two around our yard lately too. And Misty even caught a lizard:)
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Your visitor is really cool!!! We’ve never had a visitor like that.
The Florida Furkids
Um……those are definitely NOT new visitors in my yard. In fact, along with the gajillion squirrels, they pretty much decimated my stand of sweet corn……and we have an electric fence guarding it! Adorable to look at, destructive as all get out. I’m just thankful we got any corn to eat!
I had to laugh when I saw your visitor was a deer, a pretty common sight around here, on my street, in the driveway, sneaking up behind you when you’re unloading groceries from the car and helping themselves to bushes and tomato plants.
I’m thankful to have seen a few choice critters this week, especially the turkeys who now seem to live on a very busy intersection and our neighborhood cranes who had been absent for awhile (I worry).
I’m also thankful for warm and friendly bloggers like yourself and of course all the kitties and their daily adventures.
She is a beauty!!!!! Thanks so much for sharing. I wonder if she has a fawn stashed nearby? ‘Tis the season for fawns 🙂
That is an awesome visitor. It seems the only visitors we get lately are wasps.
Oh, you are so lucky to have a deer around, Brian, that’s so..enriching😸Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday🐾😽💞
oh she is sweet! What a beauty!!!
What a lovely sight; we used to see those a lot at our previous home.
Wow, what a beautiful visitor.
What a treat for you to see. We don’t get deer this close to our suburb but I know they are amazing (I wish they would come and eat our grass until the mower is repaired!)
You sure are lucky, Brian. We have very bad reception on our critter TV!
I bounced off the deck a few weeks ago to see a mom and babe in the yard next door, and I do live in a subdivision. Around here, its due to tall the building, Nashville is the it City and growing so fast, these poor babes are being pushed out of their homes. Beautiful pics, mom did really well.
What a gorgeous visitor. You really were lucky to see her, Brian. When Mom wrote our post, we were thankful that Sawyer had recovered from last Friday’s seizure and had not had one since. Now our thankful is that the seizure he had today stopped spontaneously so that he didn’t suffer heatstroke. Unfortunately, he did cut his nose. Life is a rollercoaster at our house. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Whoa! I saw—or I should say my peeps saw some of those at the family upstate’s yard. I dunno why they’re called vishus deer cos they look very gentle.
Oh my gosh. Seeing a deer is good luck, as long as they don’t eat your garden
What a beauty! I wish we had wildlife like that in our yard.
What a beautiful and special visitor!
OMC her are beautiful!! You are so lucky I want to see a deer in my yard too 😉
xoxo,
Matilda (& Matt)
What a beautiful visitor! We love to see them in our yard, but we have to see them before Luke, because he will bark at them! 🙂
Oh MeOW Brian, a vishus deer. Ya’ll do have some wondrous teevee to watch out your windows. Enjoy. Big hugs
Luv ya’
