mancat monday brian 08122019

Hello everyone, thanks for coming by on Mancat Monday, I always appreciate it when you visit. We had a pretty quiet weekend, which was most welcome, especially after last week. Before I tell you about that I thought I’d show you how long my legs/arms are, they really are quite long and I’m somewhat of a tall dude. I have magically long toesies too, don’t ya think?

Anyways, back to my story, last week wasn’t bad for me but Brother Simon and Sister Seal didn’t like it, you see, we had visitors. Actually, we had one visitor and one worker human. One of our neighbor friends came to visit and I was first to go give her a howdy. Then, Sister Zoe not only gave her a nice howdy, she curled up beside here half on her lap. Silly Sister Dolly slept through the visit. Now then, anyone want to get what happened when our neighbor friend rang the doorbell? Yep, Brother Simon and Sister Seal scattered, went into hiding and didn’t come out until late in the evening. Silly kids.

Then, the following day the doorbell rang again. Yep, Brother Simon and Sister Seal were outta here once again and Sister Dolly went with them this time. This time it was a human dude from the cable company. We were having problems with our TV picture, as in we hardly had one. The nice human dude that showed up fixed it for us, and guess what, he has kitties at home too, so he had to be a good one.

So, see what I mean? Everyone was ready for a non-doorbell ringing quiet weekend, and we got one. What about you, did you do anything exciting this past weekend? Have a fun Monday everyone, see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Brian,

Nothing exciting happened at our house this weekend. DH spent it recuperating from dental implant surgery. That’s the extent of things for us. Now it’s back to normal for us. You do have rather long legs and toes. You’re such a handsome fellow! 🙂 Thanks for boogieing with me on the dance floor. Have a songsational week, my little furriend!

Those are some handsome long legs and toes Brian. We all disappear if a stranger comes in our house. That is way too scary. Have a super week.

Always check out who comes to the house. They may have lots of pets and scratches in their human hands for you.

This is the most photogenic feline ever! Beautifully handsome! My Uncle Louie had the longest arms and as kids he would entertain with his long arm antics! We have a shy kitty (Daphne) a bold kitty (Tiger a/k/a Mr. Kitty and a very high maintenance girl (Rose). Thank you for supporting my phamily and myself this past week. It is hard but I am hopeful things will be a bit easier as time travels onward. HUGS

Doorbells can be scary but we never hide from visitors who might give us tummy rubs. Your arms are a little scary.

You are a handsome mancat with long arms/legs. Yes you are.

We had a quiet weekend here too and we loved it. Those are the best weekends.

Our Little Bit hated the doorbell and she would bark up a storm until we answered it and then she was in love mode.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥

LOL. I love your take on that phrase. Perhaps you will have a quieter week this week. You’re a brave kitty to stick around and make sure your people were okay with visitors in the house.

Brian, you are tall, handsome and very brave. Doorbells can scare the beejeebers out of most cats.

I can totally understand the doorbell issue and frankly if I could figure out how to turn it off never to be heard from ever again I would so so in a minute even giving up a shopping excursion to wait until the job was finished

Buster runs to the front door each time he hears a doorbell, if it is coming from the tv, MOL! Silly boy!

Haha….yes I stayed pretty busy. Lily got to hang on the deck and the other furbabes and I hung with her till it got a tad to warm for us. We had no visitors but the dogs tend to bark at everyone that walks down the street so Lily usually shoots up the stairs with that. Her and I both have the same thoughts on that LOUD BARKING noise. Love those long legs!

Sure long legs indeed. That doorbell can be a noisy bugger.

It’s nice that you and Sister Zoe handle entertaining the company, Brian, so the rest can hide out where they are more comfortable!

Simon and Seal sound like Brody and Trouble. The only guest they don’t hide from is Grammie.

Mudpie always enjoys company. Even this winter when we had the furnace and hot water heater replaced, causing all kinds of ruckus, she snoopervised the workers. Not sure they appreciated it though! MOL

Wow, those are long paws!

It is silly to scatter for the doorbell, especially as some visitors come with treats (i carry a few with me all of the time).

Boodie and I are pretty laid back about visitors. I like them, of course. Boodie used to be nervous about them, but she doesn’t care much anymore.

So you have the long legs, Brian, and Simon has the long tail. You two make quite the pair:) Silly Seal and Simon running off when the doorbell rings. They will soon learn that some visitors come prepared with lots of sweet hugs and petting.

Well, those are some pretty long arms, Brian. We are all very happy that we do not have workers in our house everyday; though, we know they will be back to finish up some small things. We just wish they would get it over with. Wishing you all a nice quiet week. I wish you could har how I swoon when I see you on FB or on the blog, Brian. We’ve had so many guests lately between the washer/dryer and the mold people which told us it wasn’t a problem even though the peeps are coughing up a hairball.

It sounds like you are keeping busy, Brian! My Manna would be like you and visit everyone that comes around. Dexter would hide until he got used to the person who came in. Those are some long arms by the way! Very cute toes! 🙂
