Hello everyone, here we are with Mancat Monday again, the first one for August! Hard to believe isn’t it??? But August is here already so I guess I’m ready too. I was up on the first landing looking out the front door window and the Mom asked me to turn around for a photo. Of course I said yes, anything for you Mom!

Anyways, like I said, I was up here looking out the front door window and I realized that Sister Dolly was right, you can see a lot from up here, it’s a whole different view. Oh, I did know that, but I hadn’t looked out up here for a while. So, while I was looking out it seems like it was time for the parade to start. Here came the geese, they came up from the corner of the front yard, marched right by me and then headed around the house. Wanna see? Of course you do! Here they are marching through the backyard, you can hear them honking too.

We have a feral cam under our deck too so we can see if any trouble is headed towards our feral family. I wonder what the ferals who were sacked out on our deck thought about the parade going by. They probably didn’t enjoy it too much MOL!

Okay, that’s it for me today, catch ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

That was a lot of geese marching past. The ferals might have been hoping for a straggler they could gang up on.

Brian,

Now, that really was a parade of geese! That’s super cool that your mom or was it your dad who caught the action to share with us? I can’t believe it’s August, either. The summer is flying right by and soon those geese will be flying overhead us to warmer climates. I haven’t been fortunate in recent years to catch them in flight. It seems when the kids were smaller I heard them more often. Oh well…enjoy what’s left of these lazy crazy days of summer!

Those nasty geese! If they tried to come by here, Mom would go out and chase them away. They are mean and poop all over. It’s best you are inside just watching.

haha those geese always walk like they are the cat’s meow. Better off to take in the parade from afar.

The pond two houses over is where the geese hang out around here – we’re happy with that since they are such “frequent poopers” (and flyers!).

I’m wondering if your ferals would have even bothered; geese can be very nasty!

That parade was a little bit scary, hope the ferals had a place to hide while it went by.

Geese are awesome as long as you don’t get into their space. They can be pretty mean when you do that. What a great video. A huge Awww.

Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Awww Monday. My best to your peeps. ♥

What a fun parade!! We wonder if any of the ferals wanted to chase the geese. One of our cats used to try to stalk wild turkeys, who were way bigger than he was! 🙂

Hairballs and Hissyfits

Geese are always parading around where I live- they often stop traffic as they cross!

Wow, that was quite a parade! I bet those ferals weren’t too thrilled – geese can be mean, and a kitty doesn’t want a close encounter with them!

Happy Mancat Monday!!! We love the video of the geese that walked around your backyard. We guess Dolly was right about seeing so much from the view up there. Thanks for the share. Have a great rest of your week.
