Hooray for Sister Saturday, thanks for stopping by. Just look at this face, this sweet innocent face. Can’t you just tell that I didn’t do it? Sure you can because I didn’t. What am I talking about? My Wordless Wednesday photo with the hamburger that had a big bite out of it. I didn’t do it, I don’t like mustard. Seriously, I didn’t do it.
You see, the Dad was sitting in his recliner having his lunch when there was a ruckus out back at feral central. He sat his hamburger down and went to investigate. Seriously, when he came back his hamburger was just like he left it. Oh, it sure did smell good though, but I only looked and did a bit of whiffin’ too.
Anyways, one of the ferals, who refuses to be caught, is spooked by everything and runs if you even look in his direction, put in an appearance out back. The Mom and Dad named him Mayhem, because all he wants to do is show up and chase or fight with our ferals. He isn’t a nice one at all. All of our ferals have been fixed and they all get along together, but when Mayhem shows up it isn’t pleasant for them.
So, the Dad and Mom do the best they can to keep our nice ferals safe from Mayhem, sometimes it’s a never ending job. I’ll bet he would have had a bite of the Dad’s hamburger if he could have gotten to it. Okay, it’s nap time for me, y’all have a fabulous Saturday. See ya soon.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Of course you didn’t do it, Dolly. Those innocent green eyes are all the proof we need.
We hope that Mayhem can be kept at bay.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
A little whiff is fine indeed. Mayhem sounds like quite the angry fellow. Maybe a hamburger would cool him off.
Why, with a face like that how could anyone blame you for anything? We love the name Mayhem, by the way.
We know you didn’t do it Dolly. But it must have been tempting. It is so hard to catch just one feral. You all have a really good day.
Dolly we totally agree that face could never do anything wrong. Hope Mayhem gets the plan soon
Well you are a better cat then us we would have all ate the hamburger. Well maybe not Chimera she won’t eat anything but dried food, not wet cat food, not chicken, not shrimp, not fish. She doesn’t know what she is missing being so finicky.
MOL once Mom was eating a ham sub on the couch and Whiskers jumped up in her lap and started eating it from the bottom. Mom was NOT amused.
I would have gotten bite and then ran!
Dolly, mom says she could look at photos of you and your fabulous eyes every single day. Your eyes have a frightened look, not innocent and not guilty. Mayhem sounds like quite a troublemaker. Hope Dad Terry can eventually catch him and get his boy bits removed. Have a great weekend. Dolly, we think you should ask your dad to make a hamburger for you without mustard. Maybe he could put catnip on it. 😉 We’re sorry to hear Mayhem is causing problems. We hope things settle down.
I knew you were innocent. That is too bad that Mayhem can’t be trapped, if he was fixed, he would calm right down.
We know a few people like Mayhem–great name, by the way.
mol! mol! of course you are the picture of innocence, Dolly 🙂 seriously that burger would not have been so safe here…even tho we might not like mustard either. purrs to your feral family. maybe your folks will be able to trap Mayhem yet and have him “tutored” have a great weekend!
pip, minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto, TL
With that look of innocence, no-one could ever think you took a taste.
Of course you didn’t sneak a taste of that burger…….looking and sniffing are allowed though!
Hugs, Teddy
We know she didn’t do it – LOL
Dolly, we never once suspected you in the bite!
Sister Dolly, you are a much better kitty than we would be. How could we possibly resist a nibble or a big bite out of that burger:)?
We hope Mayhem stops his bad ways.

So … he’s like that “mayhem” that runs around in those annoying auto insurance commercials creating, ah, er,
mayhem-and-havoc, right? RIght!
Dolly dear, I am thinking that you have the right idea….nap time after I leave this comment! Not a nice feral at all coming and starting trouble. Glad mom and dad take care of all that. So far the only feral we have around my house only comes every few weeks for a couple of days and it gets fed, but to be honest, I think it is getting fed all over the hood! Sometimes she comes and i put out food but she don’t eat. Did not take me long to figure that out!! haha….glad you were not the… Read more »
I don’t try to eat mum’s food unless she gives it to me. She does share. Sorry about Mayhem!
Yes, of course you’re innocent, but the Hamburger wasn’t I suppose 😀 We hope you can TNR Mayhem too soon, to give the girls some peace🙏Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend to all of you🐾😽💞
Oh I bet he would have take that hamburger and run with it.
What a good girl you are sweet Dolly, of course you didn’t do it!
I wish there was a way to trap Mayhem and get him neutered. He sounds like a real bully. Getting rid of the hormones might not solve the problem, but maybe it would take it down a notch. If you could only catch him.
Please consider a drop trap for Mayhem! When a cat won’t go into the usual trip traps (they step on a plate which closes the open door), the drop trap gets ’em every time! Good luck!
We believe you. Hamburgers for everyone!
Cats do not like mustard, i believe the smell of it puts any cat off from trying the food.
Speaking of trying, i am guessing your parents have tried to use a drop trap to catch Mayhem, with no success. If that can’t work, the only thing left is a tranquilizer dart. Getting him “fixed” would probably stop the mayhem in its tracks.
Totally innocent!
So cute! It definitely wasn’t you who did it, Dolly!
That face could not be anything but innocent! ♥
Say what?? You got blamed for something you didn’t do. Mayhem did it!
It sounds like Mayhem hasn’t been fixed!
