Hello there everyone, thanks for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I hope you know that I am always so very thankful to each of you for joining us. Every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do excited when new blogger pals join us!

Well, if you read our post on Monday you’ll remember that we had quite the Windows 10 fiasco going on here. The Dad said he had other plans and now I know what they were. The Mac is back. Yep, it looks like we’ll be ditching Windows 10 and going back to the good old Mac operating system after all. Actually, the Mom tried to tell the Dad to stick with Mac but did he listen? Nope. Hey, it’s a guy thing MOL!

Anyways, today I’m thankful that we won’t have to fuss with the problems we were having every day. Sure, we’ll have to move some things and the Dad will have to get through the re-learning curve on the Mac, but I know he’ll get there. I’m thankful we can keep blogging and visiting our friends, really thankful.

So, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Looking good, Brian. We’re glad to hear you guys are getting the computer stuff squared away. We’re on Macs here, too. Dad will get back up to speed quickly, we are sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Cathy Keisha

Years ago, we just had a PC. TW wouldn’t use it. If Pop wouldn’t have given in and bought a Mac, I would have never had a blog or had you guys for furrends. I’m thankful for that.

  3. Madison

If the mac works for you then go for it. My mom has a fit with macs. It’s all in what you are used to. Hope things get back to normal as computer issues really ruin the mood of humans!

  4. Catscue Catmom

In our house, we say, ‘if the Mom’s not happy, ain’t NOBODY happy’ – I think it works for Dads too though – glad the technical frustration is over at your house.. You are one handsome cat today Brian!

I have Mac everything. iPod, iPhone, iMac, iPad. When the occasion called for it at work, I had to use a PC..it was awful as there was a learning curve that I did not want to learn. I disliked it and I’ll never voluntarily go through all the iterations you have to go through with a PC in its OS. With a Mac, updates are seamless.

However what I should have said was Brian, you look so handsome and ready for lady cat admiration. ๐Ÿ’—

  6. Teddy

However you communicate is dandy with us – and we’re glad you do! Windows 10 is on our laptop but Mom has stuck with 8 on her PC and won’t budge. HAHAHA

    Hugs, Teddy

You have to go with what you know and Mac is what you know. I’ve never had a Mac and I do just fine with Windows 10. I’m happy you’ll keep blogging. We enjoy coming here all week long.

Thank you for hosting the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. โ™ฅ

Brian, may I suggest that your dad reach out to Apple, and take some of their free classes on all Mac stuff?!? I did, and will do even more, just to learn how to work everything. Did I mention FREE? And some of the classes only had one student…me…so I received personalized instruction. I cannot say enough about Apple, and I LURV my Macbook Pro!

  10. Jan

Such a simple solution to such a complex problem. I’m sure he will easily relearn all about Mac that he once knew.

  11. World Of Animals, Inc.

We are happy to hear that everything is back online and that your dad will need a couple of days to get used to the Mac. Thanks for the share. Hope you’re having a wonderful Thankful Thursday.

We are also thankful that your Dad got things figured out and you are back in business! We have one of each here, a Mac and a PC, but honestly I can’t get used to that Mac. Maybe someday I’ll have to! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m glad your troubled past will be behind you. I don’t know much about Macs but I can say I wouldn’t give two nickels for an iPhone (unless I could sell it). I have always been a Windows person but I will say that while Windows 7 was great, Windows 10 is a PITA. Every time it updates it throws a new problem at me.

  15. Feline Opines

Oh my whiskers, The Female Human has been meowing all day about some windows.
We like windows so I donโ€™t know what her issue is but itโ€™s really making her mad. Glad your dad got your computer stuff sorted and that he didnโ€™t have a hissy fit like our human did!

Yeah on the return of the MAC. They are not trouble free, but still a much better alternative. We, are feeling blessed and thankful that Sawyer has not had a seizure since Aug. 11. We just transitioned to Windows 10 (no Mac to go back to for us!)
We were happy where we were but succumbed to their “disaster will strike if you don’t upgrade now” notices!
We’re doing okay with it so far – adjusting – but I’m happy I have a techie hubby to help me deal with all of this!

PS – If anyone needs to upgrade you can still get their upgrade for FREE – we used the “expired” code and it still worked!

Have a great weekend, Brian and felines! ๐Ÿ™‚

  18. Angel Foley Monster, Pocket and River Song

We are happy the Mac is Back and peace has been restored to the land.

  19. William's Kith & Kin

Brian, we sure are glad to hear your woes are over. Our mom used a Mac in the real old days but we know she wouldn’t go back. She’s got too much software. Plus, why would we condone her spending potential cat toy money on a different machine? MOL!

  20. The OP Pack

Glad your Dad had a plan that is going to work. Maybe one of these days our Dad will decide to match Mom’s Mac too.

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

  21. Ruby

Oh, i am so glads you Pops got everything figured out! You knows, Ma is the weird one ~ she has BOTH Mac stuffs AND a windows stuffs! she’s never had the problems that some have had with the windows, so I guess that’s why she sticks with both.
Thanks for all the POTP! Totally worked, and I am makin’ my way back!
    Kisses,
    Ruby โ™ฅ

  22. Anne Robinson

Still waiting for the new baby to join us and forgot to link in! I am happy to be here. Makes me smile to see all the thankful posts. You always share the best photos. Handsome and beautiful felines at your house Brian! Thank you for hosting and most of all, for your kind heart. Have a terrific weekend. HUGS

  23. Memories of Eric and Flynn

I am glad you are all happy to have Mac back! I have Win10 which was okay until the major update a couple of weeks ago. Now it is nothing but trouble suddenly closing down without warning and running slow.

  24. Diane D

We were life long Windows people and got my first MAC 4 years ago after listening to so many MAC ravers. I agree – nothing beats a MAC – not one problem in 4 years.

  25. The Oceanside Animals

Charlee: “Hooray! We wrote a little song to celebrate your return to the Mac.”
Chaplin: “It’s to the tune of a song by Justin Timberlake. I think Dennis would have called him a ‘famous minstrel’.”
Charlee: “Here it goes! Take it away Chaplin!”
    Chaplin: “We’re bringing Maccy back.”
    Charlee: “Yeah!”
Chaplin: “Cuz Windows 10 just don’t know how to act.”
    Charlee: “Yeah!”
Lulu: “Hey guys, I have a lawyer on the phone for somebody named Justin Timberland or something like that.”
Charlee: “And that’s the end of our song!”
