Today I’m thankful for when old becomes new again. Y’all know what I mean kitties. A favorite toy goes missing, or a favorite toy gets hidden by the peeps, and then it shows up again. Hey, it’s just like having a new toy. It’s fun again, just like it was the first time. It’s not just toys, it’s happened here with beds and some scratchers too.
Today I’m thankful to have found my kicker stick, the big long one. Actually, truth be told, I didn’t find it. Brother Simon found it when he was digging around in the toy baskets and he happened to dump both toy baskets over. Low and behold, behind those toy baskets was my kicker stick. Brother Simon even dragged it out for me. Okay, okay, he actually brought it out for him to play with but he quickly recognized that it was mine. Smart boy.
So today I’m thankful to be reacquainted with my old pal kicker stick. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Finding old stuff is like getting something new, i agree. Sometimes i find old things in the back of the cabinet that i’d forgotten i had, it’s like a treasure hunt.
Well, that worked out well then, huh Brian? Hooray for a new and old kicker stick!
Well its nice that the old becomes new again but mercy, who would be hiding your toys?
that are super moments when an old toys comes back as a new one… we miss some things we loved once, but we are afraid the mama has her paws in da game and they ended…. well you know where LOL
My human says she is NOT thankful for finding an old toy of Boodie’s because she has been screaming at it in the middle of the night for the past couple of nights and waking up my human! She may, um, lose it again if this keeps up! MOL
It is always a good day when you find a fave toy!!
Enjoy it Brian!!

It is always good to find something that has been long lost, Brian.
Hello! Love the photo – toys that make an appearance after a long absence are like NEW TOYS all over again! I’m not much into toys but sometimes Mom digs around in the toy basket and finds something that intrigues me – for a minute or two anyway. Mostly today we’re thankful for your friendship and hosting of this Hop where everyone recognizes all they are thankful for. Happy Thursday!
Hugs, Teddy
Great of him to make it visible for you. Those old toys sure can be new again indeed.
You said it, finding old things again is so much fun!
We love when that happens too!
Sometimes our favorite things go missing too. Being reunited is such a fun time, right?
Brian dear furiend, thank you for hosting this blog hop. I am thrilled to know that your kicker stick has been found. I don’t play with sticks a lot, but am very fond of soccer, so have a nice collection of balls… the small ones have an annoying tendency of getting under the stove and refrigerator.

Brian
What a precious photo of you today and your Tabby M is quite beautiful.
I used to ‘hide’ my daughter’s toys too when she was a wee girl…lo and behold she thought they were new.
BUT eventually she wised up to my scheme
Hugs Cecilia
Brian, I know what you mean! I love it when the Mom uncovers toys I’ve cleverly hidden . It’s just like having new toys all over again!!
Purrs,
Tylan
Oh yeah …. yup … you’re so spot on!
Reunited – a love story of a handsome mancat and his toy. MOL! Glad you have a ‘new’ toy today sweet Brian!
Isn’t it grand having a brother!?
Recycling always good and finding ‘something in our own backyard’ is so smart ~ on many levels but especially the practical level ~ glad you found a ‘new toy.’ ~ enjoy ^_^

Have fun playing with your old buddy once again.
I totally agree! Finding old stuff is definitely fun and new again. I just found a Spongebob mug that I thought I’d lost forever, but I found it in my trunk – 3 years later!(lol) What in the heck it was doing in there, I have no clue. Happy Thankful Thursday and Be An Angel Day. Hugs, RO
Yes, finding something that was missing is like a brand new thing. I agree with you.

Have a purrfect Thankful Thursday. My best to your peeps. ♥
That looks like a nice clicker, glad you found it. Thanks for hosting. Have a great day! XO
We always love it when our old toys become new ones again. We do the same thing with snoozy spots. All of a sudden old ones become appealing again.

Finding an old toy is like meeting an old friend who used to scratch your ears in all the right places.
My dog must think the same thing. When we find one of his toys under the couch he acts like it’s brand new.
That Simon; he’s quite the character, isn’t he, Brian?
When old is new again, it’s really fun! Recently Goro’s old favorite toy was rediscovered after hiding in a toy box. He got beyond excited! 🙂
I wonder if he could find Mudpie’s missing catnip snail. It disappeared for months and I finally found it at the foot of the basement stairs. It’s been gone again for close to a year MOL.
Love discovering forgotten treasures!
Have a wonderful week Brian – thanks for hosting! 🙂
Brian is a handsome guy! 😀 <3
It’s good to have curious brothers, right?
Good find, Brian and Simon. We are going to go see if we can dump our toy boxes and find some long missing toy.
Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Oh yeah, we too subscribe to that notion. We also think the humans are the reason why our toys disappear.
Today we are thankful that Sawyer is ten days seizure free and today we had our 2000th post. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
I’m thankful for the chance to see a photo of YOU.
I think the gremlins are stealing your toys. I am thankful they are bringing them back.
Sometime finding something old makes it new again! We do that with books often. HaHaHa! I always love the photos here. Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing. HUGS
Simon is a good brother to have found that for you!!
So I assume you’re thankful for Simon, too? Since he found the kicker stick? 🙂
