Hello everyone, yes, it really is me, the Early Warning Seal and I’m sure glad you came by to see me on Sister Saturday. I really do look forward to your comments, really. See, I have my best paw forward just for you. The Mom says my brown boots are pretty fancy.

Oh, speaking of the Mom, she calls me the Early Warning Seal and I’m glad to be of service. What do I warn about? Well, I’m glad you asked. Remember the scary and mean tom-cat we call Mayhem? He likes to run up on the deck and attack and run. Mostly his target is our sweet feral Mr. Black. There is also a huge mean orange dude that likes to do the same thing. Even though the Dad has security cameras out back and under the deck, they don’t always show the pending attack coming up. I know though and I go running to the back sliding glass doors so the Mom and Dad understand that something needs their attention. Sure enough, the Dad is usually able to stop the surprise attacks.

Then, sometimes, when Mr. Black does get attacked by Mayhem he runs off and sometimes it takes him a bit to come back to the deck. I let the Mom and Dad know when he is back too by rattling the blinds in a greeting to him. That’s why the Mom gave me the Early Warning nickname. Believe me, I’m good at this job and I’m glad to be of service.

I’d better get a bit of rest in case I have to be on duty later. Y’all have a wonderful Saturday, see ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

You’re doing a great job of helping protect Mr. Black from the meanies.
And your brown paws are aren’t just fancy, they’re kind of sexy….in a good girl kitty sort of way.

Seal, I love how you put your best boot forward, they really sure are fancy. And great that you can give a warning signal about imminent attacks! Every house should have one and in ours, It’s me Mr. Jack, the peacekeeper. I always intervene when I see Baggy giving George the slappy paws. xx

Maybe you and dad should call yourselves “The Protectors.” 🙂 I am also surprised that an orange cat could be mean. I guess that all our orange cats were always friendly so it seems weird.
