Tabby Tuesday: To Rest Or Not To Rest

Happy Tabby Tuesday everyone! As you can tell, I can’t decide whether or not I want to rest or I want to take off on a rip n’ run. I’m sort of leaning towards the rip n’ run thing, that is if it’s not too late. Sometimes the nap time thing gets pretty insistent!

It’s somewhat of a routine for me though, really, it’s very routine. I love to rip n’ run when it’s daylight or when it’s dark. I know, I know, it sounds like that’s an all day thing, but it’s really not. I love to rip n’ run when the Mom first gets up in the morning. She is up and at it before the Dad. The first thing the Mom does is brush me. The second thing the Mom does is put out all fresh water and I always have a big drink to start the morning. Then, then, then it’s rip n’ run time! So see, it’s not an all daylight thing at all.

Of course most of the daylight time is spent snoozing since a big time rip n’ run sure wears a guy out. Then, when the Mom and Dad are ready to sleep and the lights are out it’s time again for a rip n’ run. Sometimes I go running so fast I slide around the turns on the wood floors and bump into things…and make a big bang noise. Oops!

So, that’s my challenge for now…rip n’ run or rest n’ not run. Suggestions? See ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

It’s just how you’re wired and your peeps know that. They would love uninterrupted sleep, but I don’t see that happening until you’re much older.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥

Simon our Toby likes to Rip N Run all day long while Einstein and Rumpy like to Rip N Run at night while Miss Fitz and I like Twilight. Buddy meows that he will leave the Rip N Run to us youngins

That’s a difficult choice. It’s always fun to get in a little rip n’ run, but resting n’ not running is also enjoyable. I’ll think about it as I take my nap.

Well, we did hear last night on the news that taking a nap at least twice a week is a good thing for the human heart. Wonder how that works with us dogs and cats? We have the rip ‘n run urge every day right before and right after dinner – uh, that would be Misty and Timber. Lightning has lost his rip ‘n run:(

Woos – Lightning, Misty, and Timber

molmol! Simon, we say rest now and wait until your folks are asleep to do your rip ‘n run 😀 maybe set something up first so you can make a big bang 😀

Hmmm – so this rip n’ run thing is something many cats do? I thought it was just our Josie, who will suddenly take off as if she is being pursued by the Devil himself. And it usually does end with a slide and a crash!

Well, I would totally do both while you are still young. These days I usually stick to the “rest n’ not run”, but this morning I did have the urge to rip n’ run ’cause the rains have cooled things off nicely around here; t’s not hot like it was a few weeks ago where I melted. Winks.
