Hello there everyone, thank you for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am always so thankful to each of you for joining us, really! Each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for a good Vet visit, yes, I’m very thankful for that. Not too long ago it was Take Your Cat to the Vet Day and I thought the Dad forgot. Well, I didn’t go to the Vet on that day, but I did have to go last week. Seriously, a car ride, not my favorite thing in the whole world. I protested the car ride all the way there and all the way back. I wasn’t overly quiet about my protesting either.

Anyways, if you are new to our blog, we go to a cat only Vet and I do love our Vet and all of the Vet Techs too. Once I got there I was fine and I was happy to see everyone and I gave them all really big purrs. I got a pretty thorough check up. Eyes, check. Ears, check. Heart, check. Lungs, check. Mouth and teeth (what I have left), check. Weight, check. Annual required vaccines, check. Even though the Dad usually clips my claws I went ahead and got a pedicure while I was there. Our Vet says I’m the best patient ever, I just sit there on the exam table and am a good boy them.

So, I’m very thankful that the Vet said I look amazing and all was terrific. It’s hard to beat a good Vet report. What are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

That’s so-o wonderful that you are in such good health! Say, next time I’m scheduled to go to the V-E-T can I hire you to take my place? I have been to the V-E-T way too many times over the years and I would rather NOT see that place again. Mom says the visits are for my own good, but I bet she wouldn’t say that if she had been abducted by aliens. Tee hee hee. Tummy tickles.

It’s good that your humans take you to the scary place to get a health check and not just when you are sick or injured. Sorry they made you ride in the car though.

You sound like cat bro Bert. He loves the vet, and I think we could leave him there, but he hates the car ride part. We dogs love the car ride, don’t like the vet part!

Brian, I upgraded a lot. I have a certified fear free Vet clinic now, with a separate entrance for us kitties, and the Vet assigned to me that first time and the techs were excellent to me. I was so fearful though that nothing stuck with me, kinda, and I’ll have to “start again” when I go next time, sedated. Mom has finally decided that’s for the better part, the sedation. Otherwise I will not have an exam as they have no wish to frighten me even more.

Oh boy do I hear you Brian…yay for a wonderful visit at the Vet!!
Angel Madi sang first soprano for the entire 5 minutes it took to get to her vet….
BUT coming home she was quiet.

Meow-meow, Brian dear furiend, I’m very surprised to learn that you don’t like car rides. Katsu and I love them. We don’t even mind visits to the v e t unless thermometers and needles are involved. That having been meowed, Mr. M was very vocal in his disdain for car rides, so this isn’t unheard of.
Thank you for hosting this hop and congratulations on the good results.

We humans feel the same way when we have to get a physical from our doctor and we get a good report. I’m so happy your vet visit went so well. The care rid in another story all together. I so remember.

Oh glad you got a good report and YAY on that! Like Dad I keep the critters at the house nails done also. Sometimes though if I am headed in the way of the vet (daughter works there) I will grab a dog and take them to have nails done……why, just cause I can! HAHA…..Glad dad loves you critters so much that he keeps a check on it all. As for comment on my critters blog about maybe me putting a feeder on the deck for Lily to ENJOY, no happening! First off, its a screened in deck! haha

Everyone loves a good vet report. Well done, Brian. The car ride may have been tedious, but we bet the news made Mom and Dad happy.

We are thankful that you had such a good visit to the vet. I took Rufus last week and needed ear plugs in the car – he sang so loud and long! Fortunately he was also rated perfect by the staff.
