Happy Third Gotcha Day Simon and Seal

How about that, it’s our third Gotcha Day. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been here three years already, amazing. We are sure lucky kitties. We are even luckier that we got to stay together since we were pals from the start.

If you’re new to our blog, here’s a recap about how we came home. Me Simon, I was the first to arrive as a wee kitten looking for food.  The Dad had just finished up a TNR thing out back and had captured four itty bitty kittens.  The next day the Dad looked out and saw me and said great there’s five.  So, for a good long while I was called Five, can you believe that for a name?  The following week another wee kitten showed up and the Mom thought she looked like a baby seal and of course that name stuck.

After a while the Dad started the TNR thing out back again.  I was outta there in a hurry, but wee Seal was one of the first to go into one of those trap things for some food.  It was an all evening event and the Dad captured 3 kittens and 4 adult cats.  That left one trap empty.  Well, wee Seal and I became best buds as feral kittens and we went everywhere together and did everything together.  Hey, if she was off somewhere I’d best to make sure she is okay, so, I did what I had to do, I went in the last available trap.

Off we went to get, well, you know.  We were all going to be returned to the backyard, but then there was a big change of plans.  Wee Seal and I went to another place, a Vet place, to be checked out thoroughly, and then we came back, but not to the backyard, we were inside a strange place.  I did what I needed to do, I trashed the place called the bathroom, big time.  But at least wee Seal and I were still together.

We stayed in the place called the big bedroom for almost a year before we allowed out in the rest of the house.  Now we’re both love bugs, we enjoy petting, brushing, good food, family, playtime and being formerly feral, and we love all of our blogging pals too.  Thanks for coming by to help us celebrate!
