Hello gang, it’s Mancat Monday and it’s fully fall in the South. It’s been cool and something happened that hasn’t happened in a long while, it rained. Yepper, we were in drought conditions here but the rain will sure help with that. It’s supposed to rain a couple of times this week too.
Then there’s that itch. Maybe it’s a seasonal allergy thing or maybe it’s just an old fashioned itch. But when it itches ya just gotta scratch it. That itch n’ scratch can sure make the whiskers twitch too and then they go all wonkie. That’s okay, it does feel much better when the itch is gone!
I’ve been itching for something else too, I’ve been itching for the Christmas Tree to get put up. Dang, the Dad says it’s too early, can you believe that one?!?! It’s never to early for the Christmas Tree. I said how about after Halloween and the Dad said how about after Thanksgiving. WOW, that’s a long time to wait if ya got an itch MOL!
Have a fun Monday everyone! Oh, stop by tomorrow for a special day, see ya soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Goodness, please take some of our rain! We have had so much rain, we are starting to get moldy ourselves! Maybe you are just itching for the Christmas tree?
Gotta scratch that itch. Now if only you could get that tree put up.
I like your whiskers that way. The feline version of bedhead!
It’s fully Fall in middle Missouri too. And we just got two inches of rain last week! The Old Farmers Almanac is calling for a snowy, cold winter in the Midwest. And, Dad’s correct….it’s tooooo early for a Christmas tree so I hope you’ll be happy with your scratch boxes and trees. ๐
You scratch that itch with such aplomb, it will probably not come back.
Fall is officially here. Our furnace came on this morning. Please donโt rush Christmas, Brian. That means it will be really cold. We are in a severe drought here and could sure use some rain. When you are done with it, Mom asked that you send it our way. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and what fine wavy whiskers!!
Hugs Cecilia
Well when something itches – I say SCRATCH IT…….! I agree with you that it would be fun to have the Christmas tree up NOW but since we still have temps here in the 70s, it’s a little WARMISH – Mom says after Thanksgiving we will definitely put up the tree. OH WELL….fun things are worth waiting for!
Hugs, Teddy
There’s nothing better than a Christmas tree to climb. Then you can bat the ornaments too. Yep, you’ve got the right idea.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your peeps. โฅ
at least you are able to reach that itch! We agree with Dad, it is WAY too early to put that Christmas tree up! xoxo
dood….thatz a burd al urr gee if ever we saw an itch….stop eatin de stuff ….trooth ~~~~
Oh but the month is for All Hallows Eve. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time for Christmas and Santas and such afterwards. Winks.
My human says she’s not ready for the Christmas tree either! Although she HAS hinted that not this year, but next, there may be TWO trees!
I think putting the Christmas tree up for Halloween is a great idea. You could decorate it for both holidays.
Brian, there are no rules about when a tree can be put up. And who cares if there is a rule…cats make up their own! Putting an evergreen tree inside the house is supposedly a pagan practice, and let’s face it…cats are pagans! You tell your pawrents to do as you say!
There is nothing as satisfying as a good scratch on an annoying itch!
There is nothing more satisfying than scratching a good itch.
We agree with your dad, it’s too early for Chrissymouse ! We love your funny whiskers ! Purrs
Gotta love the position they get themselves into ~ Sweet shot! Sweet Kitty!
Happy Day to You,

We agree…bring on the Christmas tree!!!
That is a cute photo of you.
Hope you can scratch that itch! Frodo gets seasonal allergies that go away come winter!
You have some crazy whiskers there, Brian!! You tell your Dad that all the stores are ready for Christmas, why can’t you be? Though the truth is, we have the same rule here…no Christmas until after Thanksgiving!! ๐
You look like you got it, Brian!
Brian, we think itโs a little too early for the Christmas tree too…though most of the stores around here donโt think so. Letโs get Halloween over with first. ๐
your whiskers are a bit wonky today, Brian ๐ you know, you could put your tree up now and decorate it with Halloween stuff ๐
minnie, hollie, sharpie, ditto, TL
Nice to hear rain has appeared in your area. And you know the tree will be up soon.
These photos always make me SMILE! Have a happy week! HUGS and thanks for the friendship here.
Brian, here’s an idea for you. Pop has a friend who has a Halloween tree AND then a Thanksgiving tree with all seasonal ornaments and colored lights on them. Maybe your dad would go for that.
It is a long time to wait, i hope they get that tree up for you a bit sooner. Maybe compromise and put the tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving and agree to wait on the decorations until the day after Thanksgiving.
