Hello there friends, it’s time to reach out and touch someone…or something. I know I might have mentioned a bit about this before but I’ve added something to my morning routine. Go figure, but it’s fun to have a routine and it’s more fun to add to it from time to time.
Anyways, my typical routine starts with brushing. You see, the Mom gets up before the Dad does, mostly because we tend to wake her up. As soon as the Mom gets up I run, run, run to the big bathroom and hop up on the brushing perch for my morning brushing. Then, the Mom gets the fresh water ready. We have a super big bowl that we all call “The Pond” and I understand that it used to belong to two doggies who lived here. I meow and meow until the fresh pond is served up. I love my fresh water in the morning. I’m actually reaching out for the fresh pond in my photo.
Now then, I’ve added something new, but we don’t have any photos because I don’t want Dad to know. After I get my fresh pond I run and jump up in Dad’s recliner, you know, the one where I sit in Dad’s lap. I meow for the Mom to come and sit in Dad’s recliner and then I sit in her lap for a while. Good thing the Dad is still asleep, I wouldn’t want to offend him. It is fun though, and the Mom seems to like it too.

We have a routine too in the morning. Food, petting, clean litter boxes, and then nice, cold water.

A daily brushing – what a luxury that is! You have a great Mom (and Dad)! No wonder you look so happy!
Our kitties love to drink out of our big water bowl downstairs too, but we also drink from the cat fountain upstairs. Fresh water is the best!
I love sound of that sweet routine. Brushing before food is surprising though…LOL

Oh my. You’ve been domesticated with all the lap sitting. Wait a sec! Woofies lives there??? In the morning, after I wake TW and get breakfast, I go in and wake Pop. We go over to the sink thing where I have my own chair and then he either FURminates me and just pets me and talks to me.
Your morning routine sounds like its fun and rewarding. I like the idea of having a pond of fresh water.

Dat are a pawesome routine!! Mine is to meow at Mom until her gives me my morning treat den we snuggle on da couch and I soak her blanky in kitty spit while I make biscuits ;)
