Thankful Thursday Blog Hop: Lights, Cameras, Action

thankful thursday blog hop brian 10172019

Hello there everyone, thanks to all of you for stopping by for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. I am so very thankful to each of you for joining us! As you know, each and every Thursday we share the things for which we are most thankful and we always enjoy reading all of the things you are thankful for too. If you are new to our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop, thanks for hopping in, we really do excited when new blogger pals join us!

Today I’m thankful for lights, cameras and action, seriously. That sounds like I’m thankful to get my photo taken, and truthfully, none of us really mind the camera and our Mom has fun doing our photo sessions, and I am thankful that we do have fun with the Mom.

But today, the lights, cameras and action I’m thankful for help us protect and keep tabs on our feral family. You see, there are coyotes close again and they aren’t fond of bright lights at night. So, the Dad added 4 more outside flood lights to brighten things up at night. Then he added more outdoor cameras to our security system so we can capture the action and keep our ferals safe. I’m most thankful for that and I know they are thankful for that too. We do love our feral family.

So tell me, what are you thankful for today? Tell us in the comments and then join us for our Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Your Dad is smart to add lights to keep the coyotes away. We have coyotes in our area because we live near a river, but they don’t come into the neighborhood too often (at least not that we’ve seen). I’m thankful I got to eat a birthday mouse, and that anipals like you stopped by my blog to wish me a happy birthday!

I am totally thankful for all the measures your human is taking to make your ferals safer, Brian! We have LOADS of coyotes here, and it is really scary, thinking of all the outside cats in the neighborhood that are endangered.

Purrs and prayers for your ferals, it sounds like your Dad has a game plan to keep them safe, but a little POTP doesn’t hurt either.

Brian dear furiend, thank you for hosting this blog hop. I wish I would say ‘none of us really mind the camera’… Katsu and Saphera tend to run from it. That said, I do see the value of those lights and cameras as purrtection.
Have a wonderful day.

Oooh, I bet the neighbors are happy about those floodlights—Not! Forget about them although I’m sure they don’t want the coyotes either. Anything to keep the coyotes away and the feral cats safe is good.

I love that your Dad has done that to help the feral family. I know they are very very grateful too. Do they come up stairs to get on the deck or do they leap? I was wondering if they leapt in case they wanted away from the coyotes. Hope your dad and mom post another picture or video of the outside nite life. That was so much fun.

Coyotes are a real problem where we live too.
A friend lost her cat to one.

Well I for one am very thankful for your mom and dad and the care they give to your feral family. I just wished that others out there did what they needed to do to prevent the reproduction of so many cats. Its not fair that folks just let their cat have more and more cats that usually ends up on the streets. You have a great mom and dad.

Brian,

I’m thankful that last Thursday was a gorgeous day for us in East Tennessee. We had beautiful weather to spend the day in Pigeon Forge walking around The Island shopping plaza. It was so nice and relaxing that I didn’t want it to end!
