Hey gang, thanks for coming by on Tabby Tuesday, I’m glad you did. Did you see that, did you? The dark of night is showing up early, how strange is that? It seems pretty strange to me and we’re not, well, I’m not used to having my evening meal at O’Dark Thirty. Talk about confused, our feral family seems pretty confused but they’re still showing up for their foods.

Sister Seal reminded me that the humans mess with the time. I didn’t know you could do that or even why you’d want to try. That must be one of those silly human tricks we hear so much about. It’s sort of like cutting off 2 inches of the top part of your scratcher and gluing it to the bottom part and claiming that you have a longer scratcher. Humans can sure be weird sometimes.

Speaking of weird. even though the time is all wonked out there have been lots of powerful sunpuddles and they’ve been pretty popular. Stop by tomorrow to see the sunpuddle action. Okay, that’s it for now, enjoy your Tuesday everyone!

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

our humans live outside of the time too… and our stomach clock says the whole day now that it is meal time…

Yeah, what’s with the early darkness? I don’t get it.

Yeah, humans need to stop messing with that time stuff indeed.

Meal time is meal time, matters not what a silly clock says. Same for nap time, bed time, play time, etc. etc. etc.

We all wish they would stop the time change nonsense, but for now we all have to deal with it. At least we got another hour to sleep on the weekend.

Momma Kat and Her Bear Cat

We agree! Who likes these time changes anyway? Well, I suppose losing an hour means sooner dinners for cats – but it comes out in the wash in the end. Humans know how to make everything more complicated than it needs to be!

Well Simon I am here to tell you that it confuses me too and I don’t LIKE it! Lily woke me at the old time which would have been 6:30. She tired MEOWING loudly then she decided to hug my legs and tried biting me through the cover. I just wake up laughing…she is a mess. However, I am loving the cooler temps cause all of a sudden Lily has decided that its crawl up on moms chest time and get loving. Twice already and I have only been up and hour…I LOVE THAT. She is so loving….WHEN SHE WANTS… Read more »

This switching back and forth is horrible and I wish it was stopped, across the board.

The humans and cats are still messed up with time. The humans do not enjoy cat wake up calls at 4am instead of 5:30 or 6!

Hi there Simon. Yup, this time changing is crazy. Guess we all get used to it eventually. Have a great day.

Simon you’re right……just about the time I think I have humans figured out, something weird comes along that THEY insist on like this time change thing. Maybe one day they’ll realize how silly it is!

Hugs, Teddy

I can understand why the ferals would be confused.

Pretending to make your scratcher longer is brilliant. Wish humans were this smart.

I hate the time change too and I wish they would let it spring forward and then leave it alone. Messes me up for days.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. My best to your peeps. ♥

Oh dear me I wish ‘they’ would pick a time and stick to it w/o any changes. It is so hard on every living breathing thing to adjust to not to mention our Grandfather clock in the spring. He makes the Mister say HBO words.
Thank goodness the fall is easy peasy
Hugs Cecilia

Super analogy. The humans don’t just mess with the time, the mess with their health too. Pop was telling me that the time change causes humans to have heart attacks and traffic accidents.

Brian, some of us really want the whole Daylight Saving Time to end, however it depends on the politicians in Wash DC to approve…which is silly to me. Maybe it will happen in my lifetime…*shrug*

Andrea and the Celestial Kitties

Simon, you are seriously cute! I know that silly time thing doesn’t make sense to us either..

Little Binky and Granny

We don’t need a clock for dinner, we know when it’s time, right sweetie😸Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday🐾😽💞

We don’t like that time thing as well! It’s confusing for everyone. I hope all of you get used to it quickly.

A little more sun in the morning is about the only thing that’s good about it! You are so right that humans are silly, Simon.

Memories of Eric and Flynn

You’ve got it right, Simon, it is like cutting your scratcher and pasting it back the other end. The scratcher is still the same length, and so is the day.

We are still trying to get used to the new normal…why do humans have to mess with our dinner clocks?

Humans are VERY weird, and the time change is one of the weirdest!

William’s Kith & Kin

We can’t believe humans think they actually control time anyway. It seems pretty plain to us!

P.S. We were suddenly not able to leave a comment in Firefox (we’re using Opera as an alternative). Don’t know what’s going on.

I couldn’t agree with you more – the behavior of many humans is VERY difficult to understand.

Yeah, we have the same questions, Simon. Don’t mess with our mealtimes. Right???

OMC your telling us. This dark o’clock and food schedule is not to our liking at all. Matt just stares at Mama furever til her realizes her needs to feed him a little earlier. MOL

The time is weird, i hate changing the clocks, but as long as the meals come regular i guess it doesn’t matter!

Hey Simon, we think the time thing is crazy too. Fanky fankfully, ’round here we’re on tummy time fur meals, so we eat at the same time no matter what the humans do with their clocks. MOL Big hugs
