Oh boy, now I remember what I like about the Christmas season…a whole big tree full of toys! MOL! The Dad used to say that toes are not toys, now he has been saying the tree is not a toy. Poor Dad, he must be confused, and I do wish he’d make up his mind. I wonder why there are only plastic unbreakable toys hanging down here. Hmmmmmm.
I’m actually pretty good with the tree. Okay, I’m actually pretty good with the tree most of the time. Alright, I’m actually pretty good with the tree some of the time. I did find out one thing, Brother Brian is pretty defensive about the tree and if I’m messing with it he comes and chases me out from under it. He’s not much fun, he just lays under here and sleeps, and so does Sister Dolly, and sometimes Sister Zoe too. Sister Seal likes to look at the tree but she doesn’t seem to want to mess with the toys. I’ll have to show here how much fun it is.
Really though, I learned pretty quick that nobody seems to stop me from messing with the tree in the middle of the night. The Mom has some big white poinsettia leaves tucked into the tree branches and I try my best to help by removing some of them during the night. She seems to like putting them back so I’m glad my helping makes her happy.
Have a fun Tuesday everyone, see you soon. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
we have only unbreakable things too… at least the mama thinks it’s unbreakable LOL
Oh Simon! We bet you give your people lots of amusement π
You really know how to have FUN too π
MOL!!
Purrs,Georgia and Julie
It sounds like your elder siblings are “Protectors of the Tree”, Simon!
Our tree has just been delivered. We wonder what young Ollie will make of it.
Purrs,
Tama and Genji
Yeah, those unbreakable ones are down there here too. We still can’t figure out why. They roll pretty good though.
We’ve heard from Mom that cat bro Bert was a tree cat when he was younger. He used to climb it and hang out on the top. Mom was not amused. Enjoy the tree, it won’t be around for more than a few weeks.
Oh Simon, you are a mess. Love the picture of you under the tree. We have knocked some of our ornamens of our tree too. It sure is fun.
You all have a great day.
I spy gorgeous Simon eyes!!
Hugs Cecilia
You’re making the mom happy alright. Not. She loves you though so she’ll continue to put back what you remove. You’re having fun and she knows it.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your siblings and your peeps. β₯

Sounds like you’re doing a good job of entertaining and keeping your peoples busy!
Simon, don’t be naughty, Santa is watching! You are so cute under that tree though – MOL!
Really, Simon…Brian chases you away?!? Huh, maybe you need to listen to your elders on this!
But you look so darn cute looking out from under that tree!
Yep, middle of the night is the best time for messing with the tree! MOL
That is funny that Brian guards the tree. π I put all crocheted ornaments on the bottom so the cats can take them.
HAH! You’re the tree expert. You wouldn’t like the breakable ones. When my peeps break one they chase me from the room and say if I step on a piece I’ll have to see Dr. D. That isn’t good at all.
That’s stwange, cuz our meowmy says the same thing about toes and ornery-mints on the twee. We got a twee up and I’m enjoying it so much, even though I can’t lie under it because there is a red vet collar circling the bottom. Poor twee must have gone for nootering.
Unbreakable ornaments are more fun that a paw cut, trust me and be glad the only tree toys you can reach are like that!
First I didn’t see you for the tree! Our first cat was crazy for the smell of Christmas trees. Have fun!
Simon, I bet living with you is an adventure!
Those big eyes say it all, Simon. We think you are looking for trouble under that tree! π
Yep…I bet mom really loves putting those flowers back in place. HAHA….I can see you now playing with the toys on the bottom of the tree….haha….
Unbreakable decorations at the bottom of the tree is a sure sign that kitties live there. Eric used to like to sleep under the tree too. Every now and then we would hear a jingly noise and a little jingly bell would come shooting out from underneath.
The tree really makes your eyes stand out.
Oh that is one precious kitty and photo!

Simon, the mom said those same words to me this morning. That the tree is not a toy. I think sheβs wrong. MOL! ~Ernie
Sounds like you have lots of fun during the Christmas season!
You look furry cute under the tree.
We eventually just gave in and removed all the ornaments and lights from the tree. It looks pretty sad now but at least those little heathens will stop messing with it so much.
Simon, you are a little imp!
As long as you’re good with some of the tree, some of the time! Sounds like you’re enjoying the tree.
Sounds like you have the whole tree playing schedule set BOL!!

Da tree is mah fave. I love to redecorate it and nap under it wif all their pawretty lights but your right middle of da night redecorating is da bestest. I especially like to jingle jangle da bells when my food dish is empty and run from tree to tree like a wild indian π
