Hello gang, it’s Mancat Monday and it appears as though things here are almost back to normal. I know, I know, sometimes we are not often associated with normal but hey, sometimes it works out. Of course by normal I mean just about all of the Christmas goodies have been packed up and put away.
I was also noticing how big the living room and the dining room looks now that the Christmas stuff is gone. The living room looks really big with the Christmas tree gone. It was funny, Brother Simon and Sister Seal were still not sure what to think when the Christmas tree got put up and then they really looked confused when it got packed up.
I’ve also been spending a lot of time upstairs in my bed on the upper most landing. I can see and keep track of most everything from up there, when I’m awake that is. It’s also nice and cozy warm up there and it’s nice to have choices of where to snooze. Speaking of snoozing, I’m ready for my next nap.
Have a fun Monday everyone, see ya soon! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We are totally back to “normal” here too!
Brian, you look perplexed. So where did that tree go??? Sure hope all of you have a great day.
Aren’t humans odd with the way they put all kinds of stuff around the house, and they then put it all away again? It makes no sense.
Brian,
I haven’t even started putting our Christmas decorations away yet. I may try to get our little tree put away this week but my village I might leave out a little longer. I hate it when it’s all gone but when I do put it away I feel good about it, too. Isn’t that just strange? Oh well…have a meowvalous week!
Everything looks so bare when it is taken down. I will be taking down my cards later today.
MOL MOL Brian you read my mind. Saturday was our final push, the tree was nekked, all ornaments put away and time to pack up and move Angel Madi’s White chair back to it’s home. Then I said WOW the family room is huge.
Hugs Cecilia
Our Christmas tree went away yesterday and everything looks soooo empty. Enjoy your nap!

Mom loves no clutter so she was always anxious to put the tree away. And she sees a zillion of my toys in the living room spread everywhere and in my room.
It is fun to change snoozing spots as the fancy takes us!

We are not sure if our house is ever normal,
I sure miss the Christmas tree……when Mom and Dad took it down I was asleep – I awoke to find it gone and I immediately looked behind all the furniture in the library AND tried to dig a hole in the carpet where it had been!! I say leave the tree up year round….we kitties like sleeping under it! HAHAHA
Hugs, Teddy

Awww, what a great shot. Yes all the things are gone, but they will reappear next year. You’ll see.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your siblings and your peeps. β₯
I imagine it feels empty with the Christmas stuff packed away π
It’s great to have lots of choices for snoozing spot for sure. Enjoy lovely nap time, Brian!
You are way ahead of us. Ours will be up at least until the weekend.
The Christmas tree and all the decorations are beautiful, but they do take up a lot of space. We put our stuff away last weekend.
That is so true, Brian, the house also looks empty when all the holiday decorations disappear. But the change was nice while it lasted.

It’s so cool to have your huge room back and so many spots to nap ! Purrs
Nothing’s normal here. TW was gonna take down the tree today but said, nah, do it tomorrow. There’s still some needles left on it. MOL. I finally remembered that I like to run behind it and play.
Good to keep an eye on all from above. Yeah, much more room when “normal” comes back.
Normal can be comforting, and having the holiday stuff up for a short time just makes it more special. You are handsome Brian, have a good Mancat Monday.
Christmas decor is still up here…not ready for normal yet!
All our Christmas stuff is gone too, Brian, and the house looks huge without all of it.
You are one observant and smart Cat ~ enjoy ~ love your photo ^_^

That’s right, you’ve got to get in your 14 hours, boy.
If Simon and Seal had helped put it away, they probably would have understood!
I am glad the decorations are down. Starting New Year’s Day they start to stink like a guest with fish in his pants.
It’s always amazes us how big things look after all the decorations are down too!

Awwww….when I used to decorate for Christmas with my ex I always kept everything up til the end of January because the Orthodox Christmas is January 7 π
So funny! We were just thinking the exact same thing-how big everything looks now that the tree is put away! Still can’t wait until next Christmas!
you look so relaxed, keep up the good work.
Brian, I love the look of nonchalance on your face. Since you have all those purrfect snoozing spots, I don’t think it fazes you one way or the other whether the decorations are up or down. As long as you can keep track of your domain. A wise kitty.
Our catmas tree is packed away but they did leave us the catnip candy canes which we are now trying to fish out from under the couch.
I know whatcha mean about the Holiday decorations being gone. The 4′ tree was on my favrit sleeping platform. I’ll be there tonite! ~ MARLEY
It seem hard having Christmas and New Year in middle of week
Here also, Brian, just an ordinary day again, Brian π Pawkisses for a Happy Tuesday to all of youπΎπ½π
Brian, there is no doubt about it; you’ve got that place running like a top!
You look so handsum Brian. Sounds like you’ve got the purrfect nappin’ spot. Enjoy the normal. Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
We love Christmas, and the decorations are fun, but it is nice to get things back to normal!
Dad was going to put away the tree today and then he started playing with the new flashy box. We need to train that guy
Things do look a bit lonely when Christmas gets “put away.”
You share such amazing feline photos! Love stopping by and apologize for my delay commenting. It’s been a rough new year so far. Thanks for always being so kind. HUGS
do you believe my Mom STILL has the Christmas cards on display? They will probably be there til Dad’s birthday in February MOL!
