Hey gang, thanks for coming by for another edition of Mancat Monday. No, I’m not really grumpy but I was trying to sleep through all of the noise, and yes, I’m up in the big cat tree cup again. Up until now it was a pretty good place to catch a snooze. I thought I’d show off my manly whiskers since I was awake anyways.
That noise, of course, was Brother Simon, who was ripping and running through the house and up and down the stairs. I’m surprised he made it up the stairs, really. He came hauling down the hallway and slid into the turn to make it up the steps, then he slid through the first landing. Dang, he can be noisy doing that.
I wonder if I had the Dad put some socks on his paws if it would be any quieter? Nah, he’d probably just slide into more things and make some more noise. That’s okay, I’ll be catching up on my naps soon, he doesn’t run all day, just part of the day.

Well those sure are some nice manly whiskers. When I get in one of my spunky moods and run around our apartment dad makes jokes about me pissing off the downstairs neighbors. Mom and I just ignore him, like usual. Have an awesome week, y’all.

Brian, why not ask the Dad and Mom to get you some ear plugs? That’ll dampen the noise when Simon slides into stuff for you get your naps in properly. Happy snoozing! 🙂
The good part, Brian, is that hopefully all that running around might help tire out Simon so that you can eventually get some rest. Or is that just wishful thinking on our part?
